Never forget those moments
That we held hands, we kissed, we said, I love you.
I leave you in the utmost care.
Never forget how much I loved you
How I held your hand, held you close, held your heart.
I will be back really soon, so
Never forget me or lose my love
The moments by the shore, in the park, in our hearts.
I remember those times we had,
Never forget those or me
The way I held your hand, caressed your face, loved you unconditionally.
I dream of you every night,
Never forget those special gems
The time we ran in the rain laughing, walked through a field, played in the surf.
I cannot stand being away from you.
Do you remember me?
The way I said your name, the way I held you in my arms, the way I kissed your lips?
I hope you did not forget my name.
Do your remember how I used to love you?
The way I held your hand, the way I caressed your face, the way I haunted your dreams?
Yin to my YangTo tell you all the truth,Yin to my Yang7 years ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
we are complete opposites;
however, she was me,
and I am her.
She always knew
how to make me smile,
to make me laugh,
and what more could I possibly ask for,
but maybe nothing more.
She is what I always wanted,
someone to make me whole.
She was the center of my universe,
more than this insignificant world.
I dont understand
why I feel the way I do,
but time passes slowly,
and only when its come,
shall we know what we must do.
She is my complete opposite.
She is the yin to my yang.
She means to world me,
and I mean the world to you.
To tell you all the difference
would do very little harm,
but maybe in the future,
she will not be me,
but I will still be the world to you.
GoodnightEvery night you fall asleep,Goodnight7 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
And close your eyes,
And when you wake you seem surprised
To see me sitting by your side
Never wanting to be like the tides on some distant shore,
And leave for some time,
And leave behind a draught that will leave us all lonely...

until my chest aches with the thought of
your eyelashes and every bit of your life
has been written on my skin.
i will be your pillar of strength. i will love you
after it hurts and after i grow numb and grow apart
and we find ourselves on opposite sides of the country,
like branches on a tree that grew bigger
than we could ever imagine.
i will keep your city circled on every map i place
on the walls of my room, like a reminder
and a to do list and a promise all in one. you have
etched yourself into every corner
of my brain and i have stopped trying
to catch myself thinking about you because
most days my thoughts are running too fast
to ever even catch up with
and they always seem to lead back to you.
and right now my veins are only half blood
and half holy so i know this isn’t a poem
that needs to be written but i also know
already that if i don’t get this out, tomorrow
morning i will be crouched in front
of a toilet bowl
