Little Girl Lost
People dont just wake up one day & say, Im going to be a serial rapist & a killer. Something leads up to it. Dr. Kathryn Seifert
It is a common misconception, greatly enforced by TV & the movies, that people who are evil have been their way their whole lives. Saturday morning cartoons never show the grim & sinister pasts of the villains, & when the bad guys in comic books appear, their background stories are left to our imaginations. But life is not a movie.
Scoundrels are not born overnight, but are made through a series of tragic events that shaped them into who they are today. Such was the case of Alex DeLarge, the young delinquent adored by all fans of the movie that covered the most distressing points in his life...Strike thatwhat youve seen in A Clockwork Orange didnt even come close to the most distressing points in his

Ana always loved to see the sun rise whenever she could, but unfortunately, she woke up about an hour later than usual, which put a little damper in her plans. Not to worry, though, Ana thought with a chipper smile. My beloved will be here soon to give me breakfast in bed. Darling? called a voice from outside the door. Its me. I brought you your morning meal.
Anas expression grew tender she turned over to respond to her visitors words. Come in, she said sweetly.

Ode To Alex DeLargeOh, Alex, darling, don't you seeOde To Alex DeLarge7 years ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
Just how much you mean to me?
How I wish that you were real
So that your sweet face, I could feel
People just don't understand
How anyone can love a man
Whose heart is black as ebony
And is a fearsome enemy
But, my sweet love, they cannot see
How, in my mind, I've rescued thee
From a life of sin & iniquity
That otherwise you could never flee
I was the one who purged your soul
And the same girl who made you whole
Don't let my labor be in vain
Alex, darling, with me remain!
It pains my heart when I realize
I will never see your eyes
So startlingly deep & crystal-blue
Oh, Alex, why can't I love you?
When wondrous dreams affect my sleep
Of you making sweet love to me
I feel so calm & safe from harm
When I'm in your loving arms
And when the dreams end & I wake
Tears spring from my eyes & I start to shake
I weep & moan so miserably
Knowing you will never love me!
If only I could touch your face
And linger in your sweet embrace
Then all my pain would disappear
Suffering In SilenceI speak no more of those who insult meSuffering In Silence6 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Or offer me painful flames,
And now I am to suffer in silence
Whenever they play their twisted games
I am forced to passively bear the blow
Of their "comments" that attack my poor soul
And my mind by telling me that my dreams
Of making my sequels (& perhaps follow-up TV show) are in vain
But I don't want to give into their cruel demands
And abandon my goals! I musn't! I can't!
Why must I be forced to give up on my dreams,
Just because other people are telling me they won't come true?
...Should I believe them now? Should I take their advice
And abandon my GMD 2 & other projects altogether?
I try not to come to that point, & I try to be strong,
But many times, I wonder still why I carry on
I am torn between two roads now--
The road that I hope will lead me to Disney
(And the never-wavering possibility that my dreams
I've fostered for so long will have the chance to finally come true!)
And the road of failure, the road taken by
