Spike sat on the kitchen table, watching in amusement as Twilight sprinted around the table with a small pink blur following behind her. It had been two weeks since their day trip to the beach and not much had changed during this time. On occasion, they would accept the offer to babysit one of the many young children of their friends. The time before this one had been Fluttershy, who had given all three her kids to Twilight for the day.
Pinkie Pie had asked this time and Twilight had gladly accepted but was now more than likely regretting her generosity. Rose, Pinkie's daughter, had nearly twice as much energy as her mother, which was saying something. Twilight and Spike had attempted to wear the small pony out through rigorous play time, rough housing, tag, hide and seek, all kinds of games. But so far nothing had even remotely dented the child's energy.
They had soon realized that if they played with her together that they'd both be worn out well before Rose did, so they ha

"I can't believe she did that! Now thanks to whoever wrote that message on the wall, I have to go on a date with Helga!" Arnold groaned.
It was after school that day, and Arnold and Gerald were walking to the boarding house together. Of course, it had been a long and tiring day full of merciless teasing based on the very subject Arnold now dreaded. Whoever had written the message on the wall was going to pay for it if they ever stepped up and admitted it. Once more he pushed the violent thoughts aside and focused on the dreaded fact that he had to go on his first real date, aside from back on Valentine's Day, with Helga of all people. This was not going to go well.
"It's a real shame, man." Gerald agreed, shaking his head. "Mmm mmm mmm. Well, looks like you got no choice. It's either that or Helga beats you to a pulp!"
"That actually sounds like a better idea." Arnold sighed. "I don't know what to do, G

"Metal!" Sonic yelled to the hovering robot. "Look at this madness! Just what do you think you're doing?!" his fist clenched tightly as his breath hissed through clenched teeth and tossed the backpack that held their supplies aside as Rainbow Dash inched her way away from him, sensing the animosity between the two.
"What was necessary to ensure the safety of this world, these fools would raise arms against he who would deliver this world from the fire," he responded.
"You and Eggman weren't satisfied with Moebius? You had to follow me here to destroy another world? Well that's not gonna happen Metal, I won't let it!"
"Then you will perish with them," he announced as his engines spooled up, prepping to strike at the blue hedgehog.
"Keep talking Metal," Sonic said, widening his stance, gearing himself to leap into battle with his longtime foe. "You're not gonna sound so tough when I snap you in two, you tin foil faker!"
"Faker…" suddenly Metal Sonic's engines wound down. The brigh

It was late in the afternoon when the brightness of the sun in Karai's face started to draw her out of her dreams. The summer heat had returned, and the sticky humidly of it made her feel like she was being smothered. She kicked off the blanket and squirmed, still coming out of the fog of sleep. Thats when she felt a hard, hot body stir next to hear and nearly jumped out of her skin.
Karai sprawled backwards on the floor and but when she saw the blurry shape of a turtle she remembered, and felt ridiculous.
She rubbed the sleep out of her eyes and went through the routine. Karai checked Leo's bandages and any major bumps and scrapes—everything looked fine—and he seemed to be sleeping peacefully, but when she put a hand to his head he was burning up. She hastily checked again to see if it was just the heat but no, she was sure he had a fever. That's when panic started to set in. Was it an infection? Something worse? How t

The Jungle Boy
How long had it been? Helga had pretty much no concept of time by now. She'd been wandering in the jungle for what seemed like hours. Nothing was familiar to her; she neither heard nor saw any sign of her parents or her sister. In fact, she was pretty sure she had wandered even further away from them.
Although it was her plan in the first place, she was now beginning to think maybe it wasn't the best idea. She had to find them, and get out of here. But how? Where were they? Moreover, where was she?
Helga exhaled, trying to keep calm. Being in the middle of the jungle, lost and alone, was definitely scarier than she'd thought. Getting lost in Hillwood was a different story. Sure, it was scary and disorienting, but at least there were resources that could help her to get home. But here, in the wild, she would be lucky if she could find even a cave for shelter.
"Mom! Mom! Miriam! Bob! Olga! Hello?" Helga called into the jungle.

Plot Rundown Part 1
The episode begins with Principal Wartz welcoming the school's new child psychologist, Dr. Bliss, to P.S. 118. Although she is meant to come after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays, she says that she came to spend today observing the students. Wartz welcomes her to do so, but doesn't think she'll find anything interesting, saying that "unlike P.S. 117 and P.S. 119, P.S. 118 is the picture of mental health."
Ironically, the next scene cuts to Helga, who is walking down the halls and wearing her usual angry scowl. She walks by Wartz's office right as Dr. Bliss walks out. Dr. Bliss notices Helga roughly push a kid aside and speak rudely to another. It's clear that she has taken an immediate interest in Helga, and then follows her all the way to Mr. Simmons's class. Mr. Simmons introduces Dr. Bliss as the new school district (finger quoted) "psychologist," and that she has randomly chosen to observe their class. Helga sarcastically says, "Whoop de-doo, the

Some nights were rougher than others. Tonight had ended up being one of those nights, which in of itself was an aggravation. He’d messed up and he had paid for it. It wasn’t even the physical pain from his body that hurt so much. He was sure that their target had known where April’s father was and it was the pain of not succeeding in catching him, that, that failure that hurt the worst.
Donatello winced as he sat down and began to remove his wrappings. On top of it all he felt filthy, like a layer of grime was on his skin and he couldn’t confirm for himself if it was a combination of it having been far too hot for night time and the location the fight had been, or if it was purely imaginary and he wanted to make himself more miserable. Then he heard a voice.
“Don?” April asked again, this time her voice filled with worry as she moved in front of him. She’d just been asking about the bruise o

This is a response I wrote to the inquiring minds on the
"Why I need Feminism" poem. **Featured here on Devaintart..
Judging by the original poem and some of the interesting replies to it..
It seems that a lot of people don't actually follow Feminism.
IE: You all ask the question:
How can people "hate" feminism, when it stands for equal rights?
It's sad to say, but Feminism isn't about equal rights.. well, unless you're just
a coffee shop feminist or taking it at the value of only ONE of it's definitions.
If you actually read the books and watch the interviews with the women in charge
of your movement. Then you'll see Feminism for what it actually is and what it promotes.
IE: They believe in the Patriarchy, which not only labels men as "the pro

Today was another calm and relaxing day for Twilight who, sitting on a park bench, watched as Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie ran around in a game of tag. Applejack and Rarity stood at the edge of a pond, bickering over something to do with their manes. Finally Twilight looked to her right, seeing Fluttershy on the bench beside her, looking down to the ground and lightly crying.
"Fluttershy? What's the matter?" Twilight asked softly.
Fluttershy tried to look more cheery, wiping her tears away. "Oh, n-nothing is wrong."
Twilight looked into Fluttershy's sorrowful eyes. Something about herself was bothering her friend. Did she say something? Or do something? Maybe there was something wrong with her she hadn't seen before. Seeing the pond, an idea came to her, so she stood from the bench. Something felt wrong; her bones and entire body ached in pain. She felt as though she had been in a fight or put through intensive labor.

No more trouble than reading a map.

The path had led to one another.

Cloud Nine can't compare
To this feeling that you give me.
A rush blazing from within---everywhere.
The pleasantries, an all-consuming fire;
I can hardly breathe,
Yet, I relish every second of it.
What more do you have under your sleeve?
Just how will you captivate me next?
Your smile shakes me to my very core,
Your eyes feed me, as I beg for more.
The words you say, like a gentle breeze,
The way you get me, time seems to freeze.
You're a walking wonder,
A passage to paradise;
A sweet oasis,
You're out of sight.
O', and how suddenly you found me,
I'd let you find me again and again.

"All right then, football head! All yours." Helga said in pleasant way as she moved aside from the water fountain.
"Thanks Helga." Arnold then gave her a knowing look before he bent down to take a drink. He knew Helga was going to splash it in his face.
But she didn't. Instead, she stood by and watched him with an adoring smile when he wasn't looking. When he turned to her, she immediately looked away. He looked at her for a moment, as if studying her, wondering what she was thinking about.
"What, you going to just stand there all day? Move it, football head!" Helga then said, shoving him ahead.
But she didn't see that the janitor had accidentally knocked over a bucket of soapy water, which had stopped at Arnold's feet. So when she pushed him, he ended up sliding backwards across the floor.
"WHOA!!" He cried, trying to grab onto something to steady himself.

The bar was almost dead at this time of night, and the question seemed to echo around the room - emphasising the sudden silence, rather than masking it.
"No, boy, I ain't."
Only a handful of stragglers remained, the dregs of the evening clearing the dregs of their whiskeys. The lights shone dimly, and everything moved lethargically in the warm Texas night.
"Well I'll be. I thought everyone 'round here knew the story of the 'slinger'," said one of the stragglers a tall, skinny man wearing a pale cowboy hat. A battered guitar rested on his knee.
"I'm new in town."
They sat at the bar - the musician and the newcomer. The guitarist resumed a lazy melody across the treble strings.
"Oh really?" he drawled, fingers sliding slowly over the fretboard. "And how are y'all finding our little patch of dirt?"
"Whiskey's expensive. Women all look like men," the newcomer replied. "Music's terrible," he added, eying up the musician suspiciously

"Let me go!" Lorenda yelled. "Where's my Adoncia?!"
The guards grunted as they struggled to control Lorenda. They roughly pushed her into a cold room. They took off the blindfold that was around her head and quickly shut the door. She opened her eyes to find more darkness. She hugged herself tightly, starting to feel the bitter cold that suddenly surrounded her. She reached out her hands in front of her and slowly started to step forward. The only sound she could hear was her own ragged breath and almost inaudible footsteps. She jumped as her hands made contact with a cold, rough surface. She whimpered as she felt around the surface, looking for any source of light. Frustrated, she started to bang on it.
"ADONCIA!" she cried. She kept banging on the wall, terrified for herself and for her daughter. She stopped after a few minutes, giving up. She felt hopeless and exhausted. She fell down to the cold, hard floor and wept.
"Mama?" she faintly heard.
