A long time ago, when birds only had small boney limbs instead of wings, a very cold chill came over the land. All the birds panicked as no-one knew where to go or what to do. They all soon decided to wake Owl and ask for his advice.
"Everyone must move to a warmer place. The cold-season is coming." said Owl, very sleepily.
"But how are we going to do that?? It's so far away." asked Parrot
"We don't have anything to travel by. We only have our tiny little legs and these useless boney limbs!" cried Willie Wagtail.
"You must go to the Moon-spirit at dusk on The-Day-of-Full-Moon." replied Owl, "She will grant you all

The NoteJonathan stretched, scrubbing a hand over his tired eyes.

It was late and Eddie had long-ago fallen asleep against him, barely making it through Frosty the Snowman before passing out.

Jonathan, who perhaps had had one too many glasses of eggnog, had surprisingly enough remained awake, blinking sleepily at the credits and deciding to watch Rudolph before finally getting up and shutting off the TV.

Now, having carried Eddie to bed, he had just remembered the cookies sitting all alone in their beautiful red and green dish on the table by the Christmas tree.
