Goodbye...

something a little more gloomy from me...though i suppose some of the shots i do don't really differ too much from this

**no i don't condone hanging one's self or the act of committing suicide, nor do i condone the act of hanging others**

Sorry with my lack of feedback. Ty all for enjoyment. Ill get back to you soon.

Experimental further. I think each macro model represents each sin, i hope it makes sensethough.(just my opinion)

1 Lust (Latin, luxuria) red gerbera
2 Gluttony (Latin, gula) pink asiatic lily
3 Greed (Latin, avaritia) yellow viola
4 Sloth (Latin, acedia) blue hydrangea
5 Wrath (Latin, ira) tiger lily
6 Envy (Latin, invidia) poison ivy macro
7 Pride (Latin, superbia) purple dandelion

Im just quite happy with this result.iI feel a bit glad in completing this series.

A little info about sins(Just in case if you're quite unfamiliar so lets tackle about this topic though. :)

summary:
"7 deadly sins" is the opposite of 7 heavenly virtues.
also known as the capital vices or cardinal sins, are a classification of the most objectionable vices that have been used since early Christian times to educate and instruct followers concerning (immoral) fallen man's tendency to sin. They are: lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy and pride. (Wikipedia)

Series: (In order)

Pride is excessive belief in one's own abilities, that interferes with the individual's recognition of the grace of God. It has been called the sin from which all others arise. Pride is also known as Vanity.

Envy is the desire for others' traits, status, abilities, or situation.

Gluttony is an inordinate desire to consume more than that which one requires.

Lust is an inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body.

Anger is manifested in the individual who spurns love and opts instead for fury. It is also known as Wrath.

Greed is the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual. It is also called Avarice or Covetousness.

Sloth is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work.

This is the interior of the Colombischlössle in Freiburg, which I visited with a group from my school during our three day stay there.

It's pretty on the outside as well, but I just think the inside makes it all the more special. Gotta those colors. The statue is a Venus of some kind (actually one with a very specific history and some fame, but I don't know the name anymore). It's a copy, though.

In the Colombischlössle there are some exhibitions about Ancient Greeks, which is why we were there.

It should be Colombischlössle with an ö in the title, but deviantart doesn't particularly like Umlauts.
