I have to say this is I think one of my favorite pictures I've colored. Even though its only the head shot..but you can almost feel the "emotion".............(well it sounded good..lol)

Before I forget to post this up...here's :iconjwwebb: making this picture better by about a million ways...

Just updated to Windows 7 and now my Mustek 1200 USB scanner won't work...anyone know any fixes for that...I've researched a little so I'm fairly sure I'm screwed but thought I'd ask....

Stephanie Brown, one time known as the vigilante Spoiler and old romantic interest of Tim Drake aka Robin III, now the third person who took the mantle of Batgirl after Barbara Gordon and Cassandra Cain. Despicted as DCAU style of Bruce Timm.

If you look at my gallery you may notice that I don't draw women that often. As a result I kinda suck at them. So I've been studying artists who are good at drawing girls and learning and practicing. I have been drawing fan arts of chicks like Cammy, Magma and now Arisia as practice to build skill and confidence before I attempt an original design. I think I'm getting better.

For those of you who don't know, Arisia is the elfy Green lantern you see in the background of any DC cartoon revolving around Green Lantern. From what I hear she actually has a more prominent role in the comics than just a cameo but I don't read them so I wouldn't know. All I know is that she is important enough to always make an appearance when lantern corps are involved.

I really like how this piece turned out. The original lines are of course by king-cheetah, one of the few artists out there who are cool enough to let me color their lines.

Update:
I did some modifications to the background gradient and some shadows... i was drunk and have a slight OCD. so.. yeah.

I really enjoyed colouring this one, i tried a few different things and and in the end i learned some different techniques and am very pleased with the result :)
