A leather mask incorporating designs inspired by traditional venetian masks with a steam-punk aesthetic.

Inspired by the mask worn by Selena Kyle aka Catwoman (played by Anne Hathaway) in Christopher Nolan's latest Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises.
Tooled and dyed leather, secured by a riveted elastic band.

Sculpted from leather, dyed brown, and antiqued and accented with bronze acrylics. Sealed with a wax finish.
This mask was created as a gift to the abbot of a Tendai Buddhist monastery in Shikoku, Japan. As such, it is not for sale, but a similar one can be created upon request.

Cut from vegetable-tanned leather. Tooled and antiqued and sculpted, then dyed and antiqued some more. Sealed with wax and accented with brass rivets. Ties around the back with leather string.
