Leo-Sabre, Burning Fury!

There was once an entire armor called the Burning Fury, it was commissioned by the once king of England, Richard "The Lion Heart." The Burning Fury Armor was forged from pure steel, however it's golden color was Obtained by the use of The strands of the fleece of Colchis, and is the same substance used in "the Ring of Might", worn by the Mighty Samson.[link]

King Richard wore the Armor during the first crusade, but its magical powers were deemed too dangerous and sacrilegious for Human Use, and so King Richard ordered the Armor's Destruction. However, it was Nathan Hawthorne's Great Ancestor, Athos the Crimson Sabre, who hid the parts around the globe, to protect it. He believed it would be needed one day to defeat a great and powerful evil, and could not let it be destroyed..

2 Pieces of that armor remained in the possession of the Sabres. The Left Arm, and the helmet in effigy of the Great Lion. This armor could heat up and generate a Mystical flame that could burn through solid objects with ease, and yet spare innocents from destruction..the claw also contained a Grapple mechanism that allowed the wearer to scale walls with ease. The Grapple was set amongst ingenious wenches in the upper shoulder and elbow joints. The Helmet offers obvious protections but will also provide a flaming haze which gives Leo-Sabre a gift of extra-Sight.. allowing him to see glimpses of the future, current events, and to see unseen demons just out of human vision..

On occasion Leo-Sabre wears the Burning Fury Armor to fight villains of a more powerful and mystical nature.

Original Origin Story Below:

Leo-Sabre (Leo-Saber) means The Lion Sword...

Back Story:

As a young child Nathan Hawthorne was born to privilege and power as the heir to the great Hawthorne fortune. His mother had died at his birth, or so he was told, and his Father was seldom around. Nathan was sent to the most prestigious schools and was given a substantial spending fund, which made him somewhat of a Playboy and socialite.

one fateful night, Nathan was called to Scotland Yard in London, to identify the body of his Father, Sir Collin Hawthorne, found dead on the side of the highway in Wales. Nathan was devastated and tried to find and track his father's killer, but to no success. making his way to his family's castle in the northern highlands of Scotland, Nathan was told of his family's assets.

Riley Quinn, his father's trusted Butler and confident led Nathan to a secret chamber below the castle, where to Nathan's astonishment he found a vast and technologically advanced lair... in the far corner was a machine that looked as if it were a sarcophagus from Egypt, Quinn explained that Nathan was the direct decedent of a long line of heroes known as the Sabres.

Their reign of Justice began in the days of King Arthur and Camelot, being directly related to Sir Lancelot himself. In the days of Camelot, Lancelot was given a gift, a small Jewel was removed from the crest of Excalibur and a shard was forged from it's blade which was converted into a Helmet crest, the bearer of these treasures would become a living weapon of justice and freedom.

Lancelot's son, Athos, made a Pact with the Lady of the lake, that he, and his decedents, would forever protect the Crown of England form both foreign and domestic threats, if only to have the power to do so. Athos actually was the oldest of the Sabres and even served as a Musketeer in France and was once known as the Crimson Sabre.

The Mystical ring gives it's bearer fantastic powers of strength, agility, and speed, whilst the helmet and the shard of Excalibur gives the wearer the combined total knowledge of every Sabre who has come before. thus making the person the most skilled and powerful swordsman in the world. each Sabre must keep their identity secret, lest the mystical items fall into the wrong hands, and each Sabre must choose a surname to add to "Sabre" to distinguish themselves from their predecessor.

The Special sarcophagus from Egypt was taken by the Crusades and when placed in the sun would give the Egyptians the ability to heal the pharaoh from any aliments, but now with modern technology, the amounts of energy brought to the machine could even revive the dead if so needed, but the body must be brought to the chamber as soon as possible, unfortunately Quinn was unable to rescue Nathan's father in time and feels guilt for this unfortunate tragedy..

The chamber used once a day can also prolong the lifespan of a human, and as Quinn explained, he was 350 years old and didn't look a day over 40, and Nathan's father was actually 450 years old. Astonished at this news Nathan decided to leave the Castle never to return or follow in the Order of the Sabre's. after his leaving the castle, Nathan was abruptly captured by the evil Black Momba's men and was lead to an abandoned monastery on the coast of Scotland, he was to be tortured and killed for the secrets of the Sabre's Order, whom the Black Momba Believed Colin Hawthorne had an inside knowledge of.

following Nathan to the hideout, Quinn attempted a rescue, and gave Colin the old uniform that his father had once worn as the Knight Sabre, placing the ring on his hand and helmet on his head, Nathan was given all the combined Knowledge of the centuries of Sabre's who had come before him, and the ring gifted Him with superhuman abilities, using this he rescued Quinn and defeated all his opponents in short work, yet the Black Momba escaped. Leaving the criminals for the Police, and escaping back to Hawthorne castle, Nathan Vowed to defeat the evil Black Momba and his organization.

He also vowed to bring his father's murderer to Justice and with that he commissioned a New suit in honor of his family's legacy and dubbing the name of the Leo-Sabre, Nathan uses his vast knowledge and skills to defend England and abroad from the evils of the world.

Leo-Sabre has also joined the Guardian Legion and fights alongside Star Superion and the Beetle Blazer..His Claymore sword is called The Artimus.. it is believed that the Artimus is a blade forged with a shard of Excalibur and is cast in it's image..It is indestructible.. this fact would explain how it is able to pierce the super dense skin of Star Superion...the only weapon on earth able to do so..

The cover for The Revival, issue 1! Since the entire thing is a love letter to the 1980s, I decided to make all the issue covers look like grand scale 80s movie posters, a la Star Wars or Big Trouble in Little China. Enjoy!

If you like this, check out the rest of the series: [link] / [link]

In reality the swords are supposedly morphed by how you behave in battle, but then when has anything Lionhead ever promised in a game been exactly as described?

I can put 'Mature Content' on this if people are particularly offended by a pixelated penis.

I logged on today and was absolutely stunned to see that the incredibly talented Jeremy Roberts took the time to color (and VASTLY improve) the Avengers picture I posted a few days ago. Check out his amazing gallery here:

So this is Adelaide and She's coined herself as "Halftone"

I've got an Idea!

She's the main character in a video game idea I'm working on for a class and a potential comic character, if I can figure out how to work it all out into comic form...

Anyway, she's a plumber's daughter but has dreams of grandeur; She doesn't want to be a lousy plumber and continue the family business (to her father's disappointment), she wants to be a fashion designer, she wants to create identities, to play with patterns and colors, inspire others, etc. etc., But after running away to pursue a career as a designer she finds herself transcended within a weird world of patterns, colors, and bizarre fashion stuff where she discovers a band of renegade fashion designers and mentors with a twisted idea for the future of mankind...

The villains are all based on patterns: Hounds-tooth, Paisley, Pinstripe, Argyle, Checkers, Stripes, and Plaid. And each villain would have a level that Adelaide would have to defeat to get to the next villain. There would also be creatures and henchmen under each villain that reside in each level with increased difficulty as you progress. They also have weapons based on sewing equipment like altered sewing machine guns, zipper whips, and over sized scissors for example. The only exception is Adelaide's Monkey Wrenches; the only item she's kept that defines her history.

Let me know if you like the idea and the characters! If it's good, I'll keep going with it and show you guys the rest of the characters! I'm pretty stoked about this, so I hope you are too (:

enjoy!
