Midweek features & Happy EasterHoi!Midweek features & Happy Easter3 years ago in Personal More Like This
Hope you are all well & looking forward to the Easter holidays (if celebrated) Naturally I will be avoiding the chocolate this year, not good for the diet I have managed to fit into a pair of jeans I used to wear about 6 years ago, so it's definitely working, I still have the ass of a baboon, that will never disappear, I was born with it, the good news is the spare tyre I acquired around my waist is shrinking!
Anyways, enough about that....
Wonderful gifts from my friends
Some works randomly chosen from my folder...
Some great works which deserve much more attention.
Enjoy, comment, fave & watch these wonderful artists!

I asked some of the biggest names in stock some typical questions that new stockers might have, in hopes that their answers will help stockers new and old learn a bit! I asked them different questions with some overlap in hopes of getting differing
Our interviewees today are faestock, Tasastock, and SenshiStock.
1. Is an expensive camera necessary?
Tasastock says, "No, but they are damned fun to play with! You can get a decent camera for a decent price nowadays that will shoot good quality images in the right conditions. Obviously they're not good for low-light or anything capturing movement, but if you handle them right you can make do with an ordinary camera, I've known plenty of people to do so."
SenshiStock says, "I don't know much about cameras, but the best photographs you can take are always going to be the ones that

It is about the pseudo-elements ::before and ::after.
They are similiar for example to the :hover element, meaning that it is not necessary (or possible) to add them to the HTML, but can be controlled purely by writing CSS. They are always there, but whether they are visible depends on whether you code them or not.
::before and ::after are almost self-explanatory pseudo-elements. They define what happens either before or after a regular HTML element. They can be applied to any element.
Let's get right going!
So in the first simple example we are going to add guillemets, also known as French quotation marks, to direct speech in our text. The usefulness of this may stand to debate, you could easily just type it out, but it is a nice and easy way to get started with explaining ::before and ::after.
We will take advantage of the i HTML class fo

The basic list format is avaiable everywhere on dA, you do not need a premium membership to create a list. Of course you could just use or a symbol like ~ to indicate a new list item, but an actual HTML coded list has a lot of benefits over that.
Especially when you have single points that exceed a single line a HTML list, a line break appears at a spot you cannot control and therefore you will end up having no indentation and it will just look messy.
You don't have to be a Premium Member to use the HTML for lists, see :faq104:
You do need it, if you want to use Journal Skins aka personal CSS.
So, let's get started.
Basics About Lists
There are two kinds of list: ordered and unordered.
Ordered means you will get a numbered list from 1 to how many items your list has.
Unordered means you will get bullet points in front of every item.
