Listen up y'all,
I should of just told you what i lost,
Was a piece of your hair!
Now it's gone. gone forever,
But I guess what does it matter when I just,
Just had all of you there,
Oh! I just had all of you there with me my friends,
If you're even my friends...
What am I to you?
Am I a joke, your dame, or your sibling.
What am I to you?
Do you look down on me cuz i'm willing.
Do you think that i don't understand?
I just wanted us together and to play as a band,
Last night was the most fun I've ever had,
Even liked it when the two of you would get mad,
Oh, you are my best friends in the world,
You are my best friends in the world,
That's right, I'm talking bout' you girl,
And you guys,
I wanna sing a song to you and I refuse to tell lies.
What am I to you?
Am I a joke, your dame, or your sibling,
What am I to you?
Do you look down on me cuz i'm willing,
Do you think that I don't understand,

Bad Little boy info and New Fionna and Cake gameThis February, Cartoon Network's hit animated series Adventure Time introduces the next chapter in its fan-favorite "Fionna and Cake" (derived by Finn and Jake) saga with the network premiere of "Bad Little Boy."Bad Little boy info and New Fionna and Cake game3 years ago in Personal More Like This
Starring highly-regarded comedic actors Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother) and Donald Glover (Community), the special episode premieres Monday, Feb. 18 at 7:30 p.m. (ET, PT).
Reprising his role as Prince Gumball from season three's much-loved gender switch episode "Adventure Time with Fionna and Cake," Neil Patrick Harris will join Donald Glover, as Marshall Lee, the musical male counterpart to fan favorite Marceline the Vampire Queen in "Bad Little Boy." In this special episode, the princesses are sick and tired of Ice King's crazy Fionna and Cake stories, so Marceline stops by the Ice Kingdom to show him how it's done.
Fans will also get to bring home 2011's original, top-rated–and gender-flipped – episode of their favorite series with the all-new DVD release of Adv

LIGHTBULB!!!!!!!!!!!!!ok, so a lot of you saw that i was deleting my account cus of my mom and all but thank to oldschoolhipster I have a brilliant idea that just might work.LIGHTBULB!!!!!!!!!!!!!2 years ago in Personal More Like This
ok, so the whole reason why I want to delete my account is cus my mom's concerned that im depressed and my art causes her to freak then she ambushes me with all these stupid conversations about trust and feelings and crap like that. ugh. ..its all just really annoying. Even though I really feel just fine. Shes going on about how she loves me and wants to protect me and blah blah blah. But i've gotton soooo many comments and notes about not quitting and my talent and stuff, so I want you guys to help my mom see that. If you have any time, please leave a comment on this journal explaining why making art (even depressing art) is good for me.

Work towards the day that they get angry at your Art.
a new meme of sortsSo I've had this idea for awhile now for a meme. What it is,is you draw your character as a bender of sorts from avatar, and no not the avatar its self. I my self will be drawing ivan and color as benders; ivan- fire and color- water. I thought this would be pretty fun to do being with korra just ending and all.a new meme of sorts3 years ago in Personal More Like This
The two rules of it is you have to make your character in there human formNOT there AU school form, and as stated it can't be the avatar just one element per person.
Or if you want:
I hope people do this and if you do link me the pictures id love to see them .
so i've seen some people dont watch the show but want to do this so i thought id put some guide lines i guess? Ok so here we go:
Air Benders: wear orange and yellow, pretty much all the same outfit, have blue arrow tattoos along there body. They are carefree people that dont really like fighting and fight more defensivel
Interesting Comic Convention fact #3Artist Alley booths can be grouped into General Categories. I have been collecting data for years, and here for the first time, I present my findings:Interesting Comic Convention fact #33 years ago in Personal More Like This
The Seasoned Anime Artist Booth: these artists almost always have 11ft diplsays, usually constructed from collapsible shelves or plastic piping. The artist themselves can sometimes be glimpsed through a tiny gap in their wall of artwork, usually drawing away, only emerging to conclude a transaction, and then quickly receding back to the safety of the artsy fortification.
The Shy Kickstarter Booth
These are the Artists trying to push their very first comic series, book etc. These artists are new, frightened of loud noises, and unsure of their surroundings. They can mostly be seen at sparsely filled tables. hiding in a sketchbook, awaiting to be discovered.
(they get much better by show 2)
The Steampunk Pirate Booth
these guys seemed to land somewhere between theatre students and Craft artists- usually strutting their

Self Portrait Challenge!Ok, so this is kinda linking back with something I thought about doing aages ago. But the main idea came from talking with some of you lovely people and the comments from this journal here: http://fav.me/d61xe9iSelf Portrait Challenge!2 years ago in Deviant Events More Like This
The power of self-perception, and the confidence (or lack thereof) you gain from it, does affect how you act and the choices you make in your life. And no I'm not talking about the whole "you are beautiful" thing so much as, how you see and percieve yourself. How we see ourselves is completely different to how other people see us.
I do notice this a lot, being a stock artist and having lots of artists draw me. One was worried that I'd be offended that he drew my legs a little large or something like that. Hell, doesn't bother me. Draw me as you see me, as how you percieve me, as how you want your art to turn out. The rest is superfluous really, since I play a character in my stock sets and none of them are really set as a piece to show me as well, me.
So that's my idea. Kinda l

As apparent from my absence in the last few issues of Supergirl I am no longer the series artist on the book. I will no longer be drawing the book and #20 was my final issue. I will however remain the cover artist on the book for just a few more issues.
What kept me from drawing the book initially was some health issues after which I had to rest for a bit. In the meantime I was offered some other projects which I took into consideration. Offers that ultimately had me make some important decisions. Unfortunately one of these decisions was to resign from art duties on Supergirl. Believe me, It was not an easy decision but one I had to make for the sake of several things in my career and life.
Over the past couple of years I've had an amazing time defining Supergirl for the New 52 with my collaborators in DC Entertainment. It was an honour to be a part of this bold new direction for DC. I was probably among the lucky few who had a wonderful

Update about My Cancer, Good and Bad News.Hey guys, I hope everyone is doing great, I wanted to give everyone a quick update. I wanted to let everyone know how things were going and what I have been up too. As always thanks to everyone for all the amazing support and kind words from my last journal.Update about My Cancer, Good and Bad News.2 years ago in Personal More Like This
Since that last journal, I have been busy fighting the cancer and went thru a couple of more chemo sessions. I just had a new one a couple of weeks ago and while I was going thru that session, which is over a week. I noticed that I was having trouble breathing and a couple of times nearly passed out. During a session, one of my nurses took some blood to check the oxygen content and found out it was extremely low. The doc was worried about that and they took me to the Hospital where they did some scans on me and found out I had some blood clots in my lungs, they moved quickly to get me in the hospital and start meds to fight the blood clots before they had a chance to move to my brain and kill me.
In the hospital, I was given d

Emulation and CreationI write this because I see a lot of this on Deviantart, and a few other places, and have been guilty of it myself way back when, so thought it might be good advice. I use Games Workshop as an example because thats what I have experience in, but it's equally applicable to super-heroes, manga, anime, all the popular genres.Emulation and Creation2 years ago in Personal More Like This
I loved drawing since when I was small, so when I came across Games Workshop, obviously I finally found a thing to draw that suited me and what I liked. There was no internet back when I was a kid, at least not freely available internet, so all my influences came from the codex's GW used to bring out. So I basically began to copy John Blanche, Adrian Smith, Mark Gibbons, all those fantasy artists. Harmless enough, it was essential drawing practice at the very least, and schools were never really supportive of that kind of art anyway, it was always paper-mache masks.
I wanted to be an artist for Games Workshop, because thats what I liked. I used to draw that stuf
no more facebookI posted a final update on my Facebook about a month ago that I was deactivating it along with anything associated with Facebook. I dont think everyone saw the update, so i've been getting messages from some folks.no more facebook1 year ago in Personal More Like This
Many people asked if I had a bad experience on there, or was harnessed or something, but no, nothing that exciting. I simple just couldnt keep up. Between drawing and writing every waking minute I have and trying to manage my time with my kids, and just finding time to sleep, it became a task rather than fun.
I've never been good at social media, and with the increasing amount of workload, it became one more email to check in the morning, one more argument to side with, and one more contribution to be guilted into. It also opened up doors to people who do not know me at all ( or cared to), contacting me for reasons that shouldn’t involve me in the first place. Much like twitter, it makes you become too easily accessible to anyone and anything, at anytime.

I think we can afford it, only problem is that my mother isn't allowing me to go. She thinks I have to go to gymnasium, but I want to study art. She doesn't belive in me.. She thinks that I won't be able to live with that high school...

A new way of painting watercolours?Okay, yes, I'm still using water, paint and a brush, so whats so different?A new way of painting watercolours?3 years ago in Personal More Like This
Well, i'm using markers... not just any marker but a water-based ink marker, or watercolour marker. These are Aquamarkers, by Letraset, the same people who make Tria and Promarkers. They are twin tipped like most markers, with a thick tip for broad areas of colour and a fine tip for small or detailed areas, but these ones have water-based ink, not permanent ink in them. I've done a few pieces so far with them and have been impressed enough that :iconshufie: thought I should tell you about them.
There seem to be 3 main ways that you can use them:
▶After you lay down some marker colour, you get a brush loaded with water and move that coloured 'ink' around, mixing and blending it.
▶Apparently, they can be used straight onto wet paper for a really watery effect.
▶You can even scribble on a palette, add water, mix and THEN paint onto paper.
...but I'm too impatient for that,
