Save MePanting heavily I ran down a flight of stairs and into the lobby. Behind me a group ofSave Me4 years ago in Horror More Like This
snarling undead sprinted nearer. I looked around trying to find somewhere to run but they
were starting to pile in from every window and door. My eyes started to water. This was
the end, the end of my short life. Quickly I blinked back my tears. I wasn't ready to
die, I wasn't going to let myself get mauled alive by these animals. I saw in the corner
of my eye a ladder leading to the roof of the building. Running for it I quickly pulled
myself up. The weak metal groaned in protest but I continued working my way up. Something
grabbed my foot and started to pull me down. I let out a shocked scream and looked down
to see the face of many zombies reached up towards me. One had a grip on my foot and
didn't look like he was going to let go anytime soon. I kicked down with my other foot
and landed my shoe in a zombies gooey face. I shrieked and continued kicking away. The
zombie finally stumbled back and I

Auri jerks out of bed for a moment and glances around the her dark bedroom, waiting for her eyes to adjust. She sits up in bed and yawns before she reaches for the light switch on her lamp nearby when she hears a sudden creak of metal outside. The Four freezes for a moment and listens hard.
She hears the creak again only this time it is fainter, sounding off farther down.
Is someone trying to get in? the commander thinks to herself as she gets out of from under the warm covers. Once her bare feet hit the cold metal flooring, she's grateful she had slept in warm clothes. The winters at this base were brutal, the captain had told her and he was right. The Four reaches into her nightstand nearby and picks up her pistol before she pads quietly across the room to her door. She eases it open and glances out. Blue eyes squint into the darkness before she opens the door.
Silence greets the Spartan as she steps out into the dark hallway. She looks left and right before walking forw

A King-Sized Death WishRorschach prowled the alleys idly. He was hoping for someone to deal with. He kept his ears pricked for the telltale sounds of someone screaming, or the yells of rallying gang members. Anything. He supposed he should be glad he hadnt heard anything so far, but his hands itched for something to do, and his mind reminded him that evil never rests, and neither should he.A King-Sized Death Wish7 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
Of course, he hadnt slept for more than two hours straight for three days.
He felt stretched and pained, but he fought on. For what? He couldnt say. Some days he felt as though Kovacs was surfacing again, that glimmer of mortality showing through the identity he had become. Those days were the days he felt like taking off the mask and resting. Resting, that was all. An end to the endless work he had become a veritable slave to.
Rest would never come easy to him. To him, rest felt like compromise, and compromise was one thing Rorschach would never stand for.
The alley was quiet, but he heard s
IPL Written Battle RoyaleThe forest on the outskirts of Mount Challenger formed a tangled canopy above the partners, casting the floor below in a warm shade of yellow-green. The trainer, Tori Silver, glanced down and grinned at her Absol. "Well, Akeldama, you came really close to using Perish Song, but you didn't! You deserve this." Tori settled down beneath a huge tree, indicating for Akeldama to lie down in front of her. After the Absol acquiesced, Tori revealed a large tub of whipped cream she had concealed in her bag.IPL Written Battle Royale4 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
At the sight of her favourite treat, the Absol barely restrained herself from leaping with joy. She widened her ruby red eyes and scrutinized Tori's every move. Her trainer snickered and pulled the lid off of the tub before laying it down. "There you go. Don't eat it too fast, though, or you'll find you're sicker than Dixie after eating a mushroom."
Akeldama glared at Tori, as if berating her for comparing her to the Leafeon that grew more irksome every day. After she was convinced that Tori
A Night for Knights: Part 1Recently, I have noticed a renewed interest in the ancient warrior classes from Earth's past. Names like Spartan, Ninja, Pirate, Apache; and Gladiator are now well known. These warrior classes, particularly the Pirates, Spartans and Feudal Japanese fighters have been fairly glorified in recent years through movies, games; and television. All for better or for worse; no matter how far it deviates from the source material.A Night for Knights: Part 14 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
For instance, as any 7 year old American boy who pirates were, you'll likely get a praise of a response. Ask anyone who's seen the 300 who the Spartans were, they'll probably say something along the lines of unstoppable. Ask any young anime or Japan fan who the Samurai and Ninjette were, words like 'invincible', unbeatable; and unique will likely be said.
But I'm not here to down talk pop culture, no no. I love Pirates of the Caribbean, respect Sparta; and find modern practitioners of Ninjustu and Kendo very respectable, well trained; and honorable people.
