Character designs by: :iconsimongannon:

The Earth mining mech is equipped with a laser-cutter on the left arm, and an articulated manipulator on the right arm. After cutting chunks of space-rock, it deposits them into zero-g mining carts for transport. The carts can be attached to the rear of the mech and linked together in a train. Both the feet of the mech and the bottom of the carts have anchor piles to hold them in place when working. The "head" unit can fold flat against the back (like a cape) for easier storage and transport.

The machine is designed to operate in a zero-g environment and is a mining/worker-type robot.

"The Man."

Sparring partner for [link]

Finally finished (trying to leave no loose ends from 2010!). No back view for now. It's not as fancy as SKR but I couldn't abandon the pink rollerskate feet :D

Custom mecha design for :iconvulnepro:'s Theos Ke Polemos science fiction world.

This is a small scale (6 to 10 feet tall) semi-autonomous unit designed with heavy customization and personalization in mind. It is both a combat-ready bodyguard and an art product ideal for the most conspicuous consumer.

This illustration features the "Grasshopper" armor set. This is a medium-range unit with recon drones. The chisel and gun both attach to a universal clamp.

The layout of this piece is intended to resemble print ads for mountain bikes and other high-end sports equipment.

This is a small scale (6 to 10 feet tall) semi-autonomous unit designed with heavy customization and personalization in mind. It is both a combat-ready bodyguard and an art product ideal for the most conspicuous consumer.

This illustration features the "Redstart" armor set. This is a light-armor unit that focuses on unencumbered mobility.

(Artistically speaking, it's a kind of "mecha lingerie" that I'm using to complement the base frame and show off a more humanoid look.)

The layout of this piece is intended to resemble print ads for mountain bikes and other high-end sports equipment.

Feels good to get back to the smooth and shiny.

Someone asked me once how it holds the sword.

It doesn't *have* to hold its sword. People are like damn this guy doesn't even have hands and he killed Steve we better not mess with him.

Also, ankle brakes.

I've had this sitting in sketch form since June 2008 and finally got around to painting it up. Tried a few new things. Still trying to get back to the level of [link] and [link] and [link] after a long hiatus.

Normal red and blue are always tough colors for me, I dunno why.

Anyways, some stuff totally doesn't make sense, but I really like the concept itself.

Power armor commission for a private client. It doesn't have an official name but I call it the "Musketeer" :D

I don't usually do the watermark thing but in this case I felt it appropriate.
