College, Life, and ApathyIt was one of the hardest deciscions of my life, but I'm starting college this year, to study Information Technology.College, Life, and Apathy10 months ago in Personal More Like This
Since graduating high school two years ago, I've tried unsuccessfully to find a job. I had a six week 'work experience', courtesy of the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, in Oktober and November last year. Stocking shelves at the public library. And the year before, they had me at a thrift store for two weeks to do a 'job skill assessment'. So, that's eight weeks total. Plus a high school diploma. And no driver's licence (I prefer to walk, or use public transportation). Turns out most employers would like something more impressive than that. They want several months work experience that I don't have, college education I don't have, or both. College would be the easier problem to solve, except for one thing: high school.
The most miserable years of my life. Starting in seventh grade, I had problems with the school bullies. The situations were dealt with, but
Etiquette And ProtocolFor my communications class, I had to research basic etiquette for cell phone usage. I found the required ten items, from four separate sources, handed them in, and have just now (by accident) discovered two more to add to the list. And because the Internet didn't say anything while I was actually searching, I'll put up my whole list for the world to see.Etiquette And Protocol7 months ago in Personal More Like This
1. Keep a distance of ten feet from the nearest person while talking on your phone.
2. Avoid discussing personal topics in public.
3. Don't take calls when you're already in a face-to-face conversation with somebody.
4. For that matter, don't send text messages
5. Or browse the Internet while in a face-to-face conversation
6. Don't screen incoming calls too much.
7. If you have to take a call, go somewhere private to answer the phone.
8. Please, remember to silence your phone when in the theater, hospital, in class, etc.
9. DO. NOT. DRIVE. WHILE. TALKING. ON. THE. PHONE. Driving is dangerous enough as it is, and not just for the ones

Today's news article after my journal:
"State Attorney will investigate if some Poles are really planning to invade part of Lithuania"
I loled so hard xDDD
So this is my little rant about Lithuanians x)
P.S.Im not talking about normal people who arent racist towards people of different cultures.
I read today on the news about the demonstration that took place in our cathedral (I think) in March 11th.
The majority of people in there were Lithuanian skinheads or just teenagers that lack of education.
And the stupidest thing that government let those people say things like :
:iconyoucanhasitplz: Lithuania for Lithuanians!:icongonnafartplz:
It seemed very offensive for Jews and other ethnic groups like Poles, too.
Why did I mention Jews?Because many people on demonstration had swastika on them, and you know what Nazis did to Jews, right? So its pretty understandable why Jews were against it.

From Mario To Pokemon, PETA ruins childhoodsPETA has once again found another children's game (and the childhoods for many) to ruin with their idiotic parodies of classic video games. This time, with the release of Pokemon Black 2 and White 2, PETA, just as they did with Super Mario World 3D and the whole Tanooki fiasco, has created another flash game called "Pokemon: Black and Blue" with the subtitle "Gotta free 'em all".From Mario To Pokemon, PETA ruins childhoods8 months ago in Personal More Like This
I figured, for shits and giggles, I'd play the game, just as I did with "Super Tanooki Skin 2D". Unlike that game, you can apparently unlock treasure chests by playing and soon, after beating Cheren, I received a chest from a rather bloody Nurse Joy (seriously PETA? You honestly don't know how PokeCenter's work?). Upon opening it, a message popped up.
"You found a video"
I knew almost immediately what to expect, but I was curious at the same time, so I watched it. After a few moments of seeing just images of sad looking animals in cages, it cut to scenes o

Here I am, in the small, sleepy village of Büren, about to enter the Wewelsburg at last. At first, I don't see the castle behind the trees. To have a first glimpse of it, I need to climb the rather steep paved way leading to the bridge and the castle's main gate. On my right at the top of the hill is a rectangular house now used as a museum: the former SS guard house. Just before the bridge, a circular guard post still stands. At the top of its door, a stone crest still shows the remains of engraved symbols. The runic SS shield, defaced but still recognizable for those knowing where to look.
The Wewelsburg is smaller than I thought, however it somehow manages to look massive and imposing despite of its rather small size. Built in the XVIth Century by the Prince-Bishop of Padeborn, this Renaissance castle looks more like a keep, a military stronghold, than like a fairy tale castle. It is now a youth hostel my staying place for tonight. My room is on th
A brief statementNo doubt, some are wondering about why I have images of National Socialism in my favourites. For that reason, I shall state my political opinion as best I can in a short space of time.A brief statement1 month ago in Personal More Like This
I am a Nationalist and a Monarchist with elements of socialism added . I firmly believe that the head of state, the person to whom a nation must look to as the symbol of the nation itself must be the monarch. In the person of the monarch is invested the prestige, culture and history of a people. Just as equally, I believe that a nation-state must be strong, and so far as is possible independent. The nation must own the means of production - electric generation, minerals, land not privately owned and anything of national significance should be held in trust by the government. I suppose that if you must, you can call me a National Socialist. It is a label I would wear with pride. I am a British subject, a member of the nation of England, a country forged by adventurous Germanic tribes in the fifth ce
Communazi Youth: The Liberal ApocalypseThe Founding Fathers of this great Nation warned us about the dangers of Domestic Enemies, those people who lived in our Country, yet were NOT a part of it and desired it's Destruction.Sadly those people still exist in America today and they are becoming more powerful as they pursue their agenda of our Nations Obliteration. It should come as no surprise that these Domestic Terrorists,I call them Communazis, are stepping up their attacks to Destroy Traditional American Morals,Values and Culture as well as the USA's Economy. The 2012 elections are just around the corner,America is at a crossroads, and the Liberals are determined to steer it down the road of iniquity.Their most insidious method of attack involves the Youth of this once great Nation.Communazi Youth: The Liberal Apocalypse1 year ago in Personal More Like This

11th November 1918Today it's the 93th anniversary of recovering the independence by Poland. I hope that we all will remember about those, who sacrificed their lives to the idea of independent Poland.11th November 19182 years ago in Personal More Like This
According to Wikipedia:
"National Independence Day (Polish: Narodowe Święto Niepodległości) is a public holiday in Poland celebrated every year on 11 November to commemorate the anniversary of Poland's assumption of independent statehood in 1918 after 123 years of partition by Russia, Prussia and Austria.
The foundation of the Second Polish Republic is considered a key event by many Poles.
The process of restoration of Poland's independence was gradual; the date chosen is the one on which Józef Piłsudski assumed control of Poland. The Independence Day was constituted in 1937 and was celebrated only twice before World War II. In the People's Republic of Poland (PRL) the national holiday was moved to July 22 the day the PKWN Manifesto was issued. In 1989 the Independenc

Now, I usually don't get pissed at DA for updates (well, i do, but I don't express it), however, this is lunacy. I'm trying to edit one of my journals (so I can paste the little icons I always have in my journals) and for some reason it won't let me edit the actual journal. It'll just let me edit it's description and keywords. Seriously DA, what the hell? Editing journals no longer means editing a journal? Am I doing something wrong, because this is really pissing me off. The only reason they're in this journal is because I went to the sites and copy pasted the links from them.
Edit: Nevermind. :iconxdgirl: helped me figure it out. XD The reason I forgot was because I always click into the journal i want to edit and press "edit this journal",
Bill Gates Speech About Real LifeStolen from :iconwolfmueller:'s facebook.Bill Gates Speech About Real Life6 months ago in Personal More Like This
Bill Gates recently gave a Commencement speech at a High School about 11 things they did not and will not learn in school. He talks about how feel-good, politically correct teachings created a generation of kids with no concept of reality and how this concept set them up for failure in the real world.
Rule 1: Life is not fair - get used to it!
Rule 2: The world won't care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.
Rule 3: You will NOT make $60,000 a year right out of high school. You won't be a vice-president with a car phone until you earn both.
Rule 4: If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss.
Rule 5: Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your Grandparents had a different word for burger flipping: they called it opportunity.
Rule 6: If you mess up, it's not your parents' fault, so don't whine about your mistakes; learn from them.

Negotiation with AmericaImam Khamenei speech about negotiation with AmericaNegotiation with America4 months ago in Personal More Like This

…
Now the Americans have raised the issue of negotiations again. They repeat that America is prepared to directly negotiate with Iran. This is not new. The Americans have repeatedly raised the issue of negotiations at every juncture. Now their newly appointed politicians repeat that we should negotiate. And they say that the ball is in Iran's court. The ball is in your court. It is you who should explain the meaning of negotiations that are accompanied by pressure and threats. Negotiations are for the sake of proving one's goodwill. You commit tens of acts which show lack of goodwill and then you speak about negotiations. Do you expect the Iranian nation to believe that you have goodwill? Of course, we understand why the Americans repeatedly raise the issue of negotiations and why they speak about it in different ways. We know what the reason is. As the Americans themselves say, their Middle East policies have failed.

Nuances of an Annual Ritual
Which brings us to each year’s communal celebration of the passing of our lifetimes:
New Year’s Eve
So what did you “actually get done” in the past year? How closer are you to a grand goal in life? An assessment is made and then the inevitable Step 2 of the yearly process is engaged, which is often a word for word repeat of last year’s Step 2:
The New Year’s Resolution
There seem to be two main strategies that emerge at this point of facing the New Year, a “brand new morning.” The lone wolf quietly acknowledges goals not yet reached, and is even more secretive in the “new plan.” “I’ll show them,” becomes the new privat
