This is a just a simple model of a Cave Grove light mechanized unit, or Walker Tank as they were known. Crewed by a single tanker, they stood only four meters tall, and were very nimble and quick on the battlefield. Walkers were deployed in mountainous regions, within cities and even on larger orbital facilities to help repel boarding parties. They could move in all directions, and even jump short distances, and were intimidating units to confront in anything short of heavy power armor. The skilled tankers who piloted these vehicles did so through a direct brainstem implant that made the walker a literal mechanized extension of their body.

This walker will be featured in an upcoming drawing, which was hinted at in the description of my last piece ;)

This was suppose to be a mulitrole standard mech concept for my story in progress that my dear friend rushed out of me under 45 mins. :XD: So i did what i could with the time constrain he had given me.

Anyhow upon completion, he said the mech was too beefed up and too heavily armed to be a standard fodder unit, thus our good tin man here was allocated into the service of special forces 'Hunter's Nest' custom mecha's.

Anyhow for you curious ppl its armed with a Heavy Pulse Rifle with a built in lightweight bazooka launcher and a shoulder mounted Slug Shot Grenade Launcher. Oh yeah there also 4 racks of anti infantry / missile machine guns mounted on the torso too.

Just posting for you guys to get a glimps and now i need to get back to the main characters mech idea's :XD:

(p/s: Hunter's Nest is a Bounty Hunter faction in my story and well they doubles as assasin as well.)

Finished off and colored a sketch I started in an OCjam. I haven’t drawn mechs for a while so this was fun, it's nice to be back.

CRAB model, medium weight urban fighter mech.
-Arms are strong and fore arms can extend triple length to grab opponents and fire weapons around corners.
-All weapons are easily interchangeable.
-Mech relies on mobility and fast, lethal strikes to make up for sacrificed armor.
-Smoke launchers are always mounted and are used constantly. Turret can fire entire smoke pods away for mass smoke coverage of large group movements.

Current outfitting:
-Back dual turret - Anti mech operations with AP missiles and autocannon.
-Under nose turret - Anti infantry heavy machine gun.
-Right arm - Anti tank, medium rifle with AP rounds.
-Left arm - Anti light armor, light rifle with shredder rounds.

(yes, I do think that much about mechs)
