The Legend of Korra OpeningWater. Earth. Fire. Air.
The world was torn by war for a hundred years.
The fire nation devastated the Earth Kingdom, Water Tribes, and Air Nomads, but everything changed when the Avatar returned.
With his friends, he was able to defeat the tyrannical Fire Lord and restore balance to the world.
Seventy years have passed since then.
The Earth Kingdom and Water Tribes have been rebuilt with help from the Avatar and the Fire Nation.
However, all is not well.
Since the Avatar's death, there have been anti-bending revolts in each of the nations, but particularly in Republic City, a new metropolis in the center of the Fire Nation.
No revolts have done much yet, but with time they could grow stronger and pose a threat to the peace and order established by the Avatar.
This newly recuperated world has come a long way in the past seventy years, but it needs a new Avatar to save it from spiraling downward into turmoil once again.

Fucking graduation day. Who woulda known that I was going to finish high school? I never thought the day would come soon enough! I wait patiently in my seat as I wait to hear my name be called. It would be a while, we just began.
Fucking finally. I stood up from my seat, walking up to the stage. People clapped and cheered for me, as they did to my fellow pupils. I reached the stage, walking up to my principal. He moved the tassel on the opposite side of my cap. He handed me my diploma, and shook my hand. That was it. I had graduated high school. I walked off the stage and returned to my seat.
This was actually really hard to comprehend, I was done with school. Although the exception of college. Shit, college. I really wasn't looking forward to that. People were finished with getting called up to the stage. It was over, for good.
"And now, the graduatin
The Meaning Of A KissThe simple act of bringing one's lips to close to the sweet contact of another, to which upon seals a promise. The Meaning Of A Kiss3 years ago in Emotional More Like This
A kiss should have meaning and not be given out unless it is meant with solemn clarity and truth.
To kiss the hand, a polite gesture of respect, and the intent to treat the recipient as such. The back of the hand to represent strength, and honor. The palm of the hand represents a treasure, to be carefully held and cherished.
To kiss the forehead, a sign of endearment, and the will to be unbreakably bound by friendship. Above the eyes to represent protection, and shelter.
To kiss the cheek is to hope for a blush, relaying admiration and interest, where you can see eye to eye and outward together, representing the vision of what is to come.
A kiss on the lips, the most important of all, should be a promise, where upon meeting the other person's eyes you will never betray or hurt the soul within that gaze. It is the the ultimate symbol of trust.
This is The Meaning Within A kiss
Why do you love me?There once was a girl. She was very beautiful, and many boys would proclaim their love for her. But every time they told her those words, she would always ask the same question. Why do you love me?5 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
"Why do you love me?"
The boys would always reply smoothly that it was her beautiful eyes, or her smooth silky hair. Some said it was her personality they fell in love with. Yet still she turned them down. She was looking for a much different answer than that.
One day, she came across a boy who seemed different. He said that he loved her like all the rest, and when she asked the question, he did not produce the correct results, yet still, something was different.
"Young man, why do you love me?"
"I love you because you are wonderful.''
And so she turned him down. However, the next day, the boy was there again.
"I love you,'' he told her.
And she replied, ''Why do you love me?"
"Because you are the most beautiful thing in the world."
"Thank you, but that's not the answer I want. Goodbye.''
And so it continued, t

I'm pretty sure you've heard this before, but I love you. Your smile is adorable. You make me laugh when you don't even try. I love seeing you-it makes my day. I know people have told you how I feel before many, many, many times. I can't help but wonder what all of those comments make you think. I'm hoping you think I'm sweet, nice, caring. Not what others have said-creepy, freaky, disgusting. I try my hardest to impress you. I can't help but wonder what kind of impression I'm leaving on you. Is it good? Bad? Am I leaving any impression at all? Do you notice me? Am I ignored? Do you like me? Am I your friend? Do you love me? Question after question floats around in my mind. Wondering if my attempts are working. I try to make you smile like you do for me. I gave you my heart, and so far, you're keeping it safe and unbroken, repairing it when it's needed. You do a very good job of keeping it protected. I'm hoping that one day, maybe, someday, I'll be doing the same for you

"I have no idea. What do you want to do?"
Ichigo and Rukia were lying down in the grass by the river, relaxing after a night of intense hollow fighting. So far, Rukia's phone had not gone off, so the two decided to take it easy and try to regain some energy and strength. It seemed simple, but Rukia quickly realized that not attending to their normal every day tasks was causing slight anxiety.
"This is really strange," Rukia said, looking at her phone. "Not a single hollow alert? This thing's gotta be broken."
"I will admit it's weird not fighting, but I don't think your phone is broken. Maybe hollow's need a day off too." Ichigo joked.
"Oh ha ha."
"Rukia, relax. Just enjoy this while you can. It's not very often we get to take a break."
"But I'm BORED, Ichigo!" she whined.
"Sorry. Can't help you with that." He replied.
"There's got to be something we can do. We should go find some lost souls and send them to the Soul Society or something!"

"Why would you even ask me that? You know I do."
"I don't feel accepted by the world."
"But you're accepted by me."
"How will I ever truly know that?"
"You just have to trust me."
"You know I have a hard time trusting."
"If I didn't accept you, I wouldn't be with you."
"What about me is beautiful?"
"What do you think of the way I dress?"
"It's unique and wonderful."
"I love you."
"Just as I love you."
"What would you say if I said I want to marry you?"
"I'd be very happy."
"What if I could spend forever in your arms?"
"I would let you."
"And if I could kiss you forever?"
"I think we'd both enjoy that."
"What if you didn't know me?"
"I would be missing out."
"Will you catch me when I fall?"
"Every single time."
"Do you take me to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

I'm sick of hurting people
I'm tired of doing nothing right
I'm tired of holding back
Let me scream
Let me lash out
Let me show you the other side of me
And try telling me you still know me
Everything confined inside
It builds until I almost burst
My eyes grow heavy
My fingers claw at my arms
Tear out my hair
Twitch for the blade
I hold back
But I can only hold so much
Then I do it again
I screw up
And I fall again
Self-loathing is almost a comfort
I often wonder why
Why am I this way
Why am I messed up
Answers won't be found
I'm sick of hating myself
I'm sick of hiding it too
I'm just tired of the pain
I'm tired of taking it out on myself
Let me hide in the dark
Let me face it once again
Only through self-destruction
Can I build the true me
I wish I wasn't this way
I wish I knew how to stop it
But it's there
I only hope you still accept me
I find comfort in one
Who's eyes aren't blind through my self-hatred
