The Legend of Korra OpeningWater. Earth. Fire. Air.
The world was torn by war for a hundred years.
The fire nation devastated the Earth Kingdom, Water Tribes, and Air Nomads, but everything changed when the Avatar returned.
With his friends, he was able to defeat the tyrannical Fire Lord and restore balance to the world.
Seventy years have passed since then.
The Earth Kingdom and Water Tribes have been rebuilt with help from the Avatar and the Fire Nation.
However, all is not well.
Since the Avatar's death, there have been anti-bending revolts in each of the nations, but particularly in Republic City, a new metropolis in the center of the Fire Nation.
No revolts have done much yet, but with time they could grow stronger and pose a threat to the peace and order established by the Avatar.
This newly recuperated world has come a long way in the past seventy years, but it needs a new Avatar to save it from spiraling downward into turmoil once again.

"Leaf me alone! I'm bushed!" one of the guys you was hanging out with said the punchline of yet another bad joke and was met with nothing but silence. You felt a nudge a looked over to see said friend nudging you, "Oh! Come on, (F/n)," he whined, "that one was funny."
You raised an eyebrow and focused on the man who had been staring at you all night. He looked vaguely familiar. His hair was wavy and fell over the right side of his face and his off-white eyes bore holes into your head with a smirk on his face. His whole attitude screamed 'Pretty boy.' Your friend continued to poke your side.
"(F/n)?" he asked, waving a hand in front of your face and forcing you out of the staring contest with the strange man, "Hello~ (F/n)?"
Reeling your head around, you glared at your friend, "What?" you snapped, smoke pouring through your nostrils.
He cowered, pointed a finger behind you, whispering something you couldn't hear. Turning to see what had shocked him so

I'm pretty sure you've heard this before, but I love you. Your smile is adorable. You make me laugh when you don't even try. I love seeing you-it makes my day. I know people have told you how I feel before
many, many, many times. I can't help but wonder what all of those comments make you think. I'm hoping you think I'm sweet, nice, caring. Not what others have said-creepy, freaky, disgusting. I try my hardest to impress you. I can't help but wonder what kind of impression I'm leaving on you. Is it good? Bad? Am I leaving any impression at all? Do you notice me? Am I ignored? Do you like me? Am I your friend? Do you love me? Question after question floats around in my mind. Wondering if my attempts are working. I try to make you smile like you do for me. I gave you my heart, and so far, you're keeping it safe and unbroken, repairing it when it's needed. You do a very good job of keeping it protected. I'm hoping that one day, maybe, someday, I'll be doing the same for you

“Hey Jack.” You said softly as you crouched down so that you were at eye level with him. The sandy-haired boy looked at you for a moment, before a bright grin spread across his face.
“__y/n__!” He said excitedly, mispronouncing some of the sounds in the adorable way that only children can do. You smiled at him; you loved hanging out with Jack. You had in fact wanted a younger sibling, but alas, you didn’t get one. You also didn’t have any children of your own, but now you had Jack.
Well, not exactly. Jack was the son of your friend Aaron Hotchner, and when his wife died, he had ended up asking you to babysit Jack when he went away. You gladly did, you had known Jack when Haley and Aaron were still together, and you were very fond of him.
“So Jack,” you said as you looked him straight in the eye. “What do you want to be for Halloween?” It was Halloween night, and Jack didn’t have a costume yet, so you and him were going t
