I've made a bunch of scale-mail tails at this point, enough to justify having a starting point with information to make the process smoother.

What You Get:
The standard tail pattern is 35 inches long, measured from your belt to the tip. They can be made shorter or longer upon request. They hang from doubled belt loops, also made of chainmail (as seen here: http://fav.me/d6f4yaj ). They tend to weigh a bit under 4 pounds, which gives them a nice weight when worn, but is not so heavy that they are uncomfortable.
