A demo done for a friend. For this sketch, we were designing a companion character for a video game idea. One of our influences was dog from HL2. The basic idea of this was to have a character that would help the player traverse their environment.
The pack in the back would carry supplies, and the appendages maybe can be interchangeable with different tools, depending on the situation.
This design for an upgraded attack drone in R3 did not make it into the final game. The basic idea was to enhance the previous iteration and work in secondary animations, giving a slight silhouette change when this enemy was alerted to your presence.
