Take in the thoughts, little one.
Expand to your highest, your fullest, your best.
Experience like no other -
For until the day is old, you life will thank you.
Together, with the world, it will live on and on, until the next realm.
The realm for hopeful eternity.

The diamonds of the sky
Reflect the light from the sun to the earth
And shine their small lights in your eyes
Through the dark of night that binds me
With half a canopy overhead
Your face turns from a look of despair
To a dream that has no red
Many times I have tried
To face my eyes up there as well
And see the things that you do
The ones that make you feel so swell
But everything is black for me
Maybe I'm not trying hard enough
For my entire self is still being clasped
By hands that are invisible but rough
Someday though I am determined
That I will get out of my dilemma
And then maybe we will be able to
See the same dream together
Love of the HeartWith love comes a binding trust,Love of the Heart5 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Say that you will not break it,
It gives life a beauty no one can ever grieve for.
It touches the heart in a way no one can.
It sees the life of one for another,
And they meet.
All the hope,
Come together to form another life,
So well lived and precious to them both.
Then they relive that wonderful time,
A time of hope,
To regain the love that binds them.
Colorful UniverseGreen is the lichen and mold, dead and yet alive-Colorful Universe5 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Green is the grass and leaves, fresh and growing-
Green is the ocean tinged with blue-
Blue is the sky without clouds-
Blue is the water, a rushing stream or still-
Blue is the little flower tinged with purple-
Purple is the roots, chopped up or dried-
Purple is the mica-covered rocks-
Purple is the leaves tinged with red-
Red is the berries growing on big bushes-
Red is the sunset, the dying of the light-
Red is the sun tinged with yellow-
Yellow is the wheat blowing in the breeze-
Yellow is the bees flying low in the air-
Yellow is the flowers tinged with brown-
Brown is the dirt, hiding all the worms-
Brown is the tree trunks, soaking up the rain-
Brown is the lichen tinged with green.

One feather extricates itself from the others, and twirls gracefully down into the sand. The time has come for war.
For war over all the lands beyond the ocean, and all the sky that lies away north. It speaks to the people of the ground, and we listen and sing along too, glad to be free of our boundaries.
But come what may, because the war must prevail, and over the thousand seas they will come parading down at me. At the world. At the whole of our little lives. Forever shall we see blackness, and forever shall we feel the pain.
Our carelessness had blinded us on our own chosen path, and we can not stay put. We must jump into the air, yelling a battle cry, for the rest of the northern people to hear, for we are done, finished in our task of good and of the evil that is to come to us.
So hear our pleas of sorrow, our doubts, and all of our guilt, for the world ha
My light, My HopeI found a spark of hope dancing gaily above my head, way up above the rooftops. My light, My Hope4 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
I called it, willing it to come and guide me on my journey of life, for many things have been going wrong.
I feel a dimness in my mind, a wall blocking me from seeing my true path.
I silently grow weary, just waiting for something to change me, something to bring my hope back again.
Because when I was little, I had it, until it got stolen away.
And I had cried, but never have I stopped my search.
I will retrieve my hope, and it will help me forwards, towards the end of the road.
But as of yet I am still at the beginning.
Waiting for my heart to be released.
Waiting for the light of truth to shine over the world.
FreedomThere is no such thing as freedom.Freedom5 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
The world makes you it's slave.
Everything builds up and crashes down on you like a big wave,
silencing you underneath.
Tossing and turning,
scraping and burning,
it holds you.
Far down in the depths.
Singing a song like a child at play,
like a comfort zone made into a tune,
I listen for whispers.
The sound catching in my ears.
Do we play the game or surrender?
Time flies like a sloth,
awaiting the next hour.
To come and die a prisoner.
When the gates open we hug on chance in the morning and are on our own at night.
and scream your tears,
for the day has lost it's memory.
They stay silent,
never to move or wake.
The lights dim,
People watch for a new beginning,
but it will never come,
for our curse strong.
There is no such thing as freedom.

While you still can,
Don't look at the hurting eyes
Of the unfortunate man.
Your lot was never with theirs
Such a pure soul,
Went your own way without care
Your heart a black hole.
Something changed in you one day
Like ice breaking down,
Realized you could not escape
With a fake crown.
All your pride and all your gold
Couldn't change the end,
While people around you starve and die
Your past you cannot mend.

Silent TimeUnlike Water,Silent Time4 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Time can never be stopped,
can never be held,
can never be seen.
But it's flow
can nourish many,
and can carry things in it's wake
to be passed on to others farther on.
The key is not to let it silently slip out of your grasp without even your own knowledge.
Beyond the Hills in the EastBeyond the hills in the East, and the setting sun in the West, I can feel something calling. Not like the wolves howling to the moon, or the sun calling to the earth, but more like a waiting, a wanting, a calling. Perhaps waiting for the day I go. For the animals call me too, they want me to play, and be part of life, and the grass and trees and rocks. To be part of the lake. Forever. Never needing, never wanting, never caring. But always wishing. Wishing for a good life with clean water and food, and no disturbances to make them run. Just the simple life of living, smelling, believing that lasts for unaccountable time.Beyond the Hills in the East5 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
