Roland and Rosedew by Rebecca S. RussellRoland and Rosedew By Rebecca RussellRoland and Rosedew by Rebecca S. Russell3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
It was a truly lovely day as Prince Roland, perched regally atop his magnificent steed, ambled along an old trail through the Forgotten Forest. Though he was alone, and hopelessly lost, the Prince's countenance still carried the haughty mark of his royal station: the chin firmly squared and angled so the tip of his impressively shaped nose always pointed precisely between his horse's ear tips; finely shaped lips pursed ever so slightly so as to hide any hint of real emotion; and velvet brown eyes carefully narrowed as they peered down the sides of the afore ascribed nose. A particular source of vanity, his long flaxen hair flowed in elegant waves to a precise length just below his shoulder blades, the multitude of blond and light brown tones shimmering each time the strands stirred.
As he'd been taught from birth, the Prince was very careful to always retain his regal bearing. After all, one never knew when a peasant might suddenly app

You were excited but nervous to be going home. Loki invaded your every thought. You wondered what he's done to your home in the past five months, or if he even went to your home at all. You surprisingly wanted to see him again, badly. When Tony called you that morning you felt like you were going to explode. You couldn't wait.
An hour or so later you were at your front door, almost dying of the queasy feeling of nervousness mixing in with excitement. Holding your breath, and the pile of paper Tony gave you, you reached for the doorknob. You tried to open the door, but it was locked. You jiggled the knob violently, pushing your body weight into the door. A few minutes later, you were slamming against the door. "May I help you?" Said a familiar voice from behind you, you could practically hear the mocking smirk in his voice.
You turned, "Hello Loki," you said, not sure if you should smile or glare at him so you sort of just stared at him blankly, "mind letting me into my house?"
Pucca RequestI used to hate the rain. It was raining when my former beloved Garu finally told me how he truly felt. It was raining when he broke my heart. He ran off, like he always did, only to never return home alive.Pucca Request5 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
It was raining on that day too. The foreign warriors brought Garu back. They told us he died a hero. I began to cry. I cried for him, even thought I knew he didn't love me the way I loved him. Everyone cried in Suka Village.
Strangely, no one bothered the village after Garu died. It was as if Suka Village was granting a grace period. Albio and Ching became Suka Village's new protectors, and they proved to be a great team. They pleaded for me to join them, but after three months, I had turned my sorrow and heartbreak into anger. I told them no and shunned them from that point on. I was no longer the sweet, earnest dumpling-haired girl everyone loved and adored. I no longer carried a torch for Garu. If I ever wanted to get over him, I had to change. A year passed

Whilst I was listening to Axel ramble on and on about how much he wished he could hear me speak, I couldn't hear what Terra was saying to the class, not that I was actually paying much attention anyways as I was still getting over the fact that Axel had held my hand. I sighed loudly, making Axel finally shut up as he must have sensed my irritation levels hitting the roof and he smiled bashfully at me, I had to admit that he looked cute when he was blushing.
"So that's settled then, you all know your partners for this assignment and I expect a report on updates of your project during the four week time period I'm giving you," Terra explained as he tapped the edge of a large textbook onto his shoulders, his eyes flickering to mine. Project? Partners? God DAMN it Axel why did you talk so much, I would at least some idea as to what on earth Terra was going on about if you had kept your trap shut!

"G-good." Len managed to spout through another bout of coughs.
"Water?" Gakupo offered, holding out the bottle he'd brought with him.
Len opened his other eye and struggled to focus on the bottle, but to no avail. "Y-yes please." He said after a few moments.
Gakupo handed him the bottle with another small chuckle. "No need to be so formal."
"Sorry " Len murmured, struggling with the bottle for several moments before laying it down next to him on the bed to cough some more.
Gakupo lifted the bottle. "Here. Let me." He said, opening it and holding it to Len's lips. When the boy had taken a few sma

I can't possibly imagine how rubbing your lips on someone else's can be enjoyable, especially seen as though you share saliva, where does it go? Do I just swallow the saliva? I had been watching couples since I had started puberty and I had always been wondering why kissing was so enjoyable that they just had to do it in public in front of me? It was Axel's parents that shocked me more than his tidiness; they were a lot more formal and polite than Axel was though that wasn't exactly hard to be.
"My room is just here," Axel smiled at me and pulled down on the golden handle, pushing the door open for me and I rolled my eyes once again as I saw the strange glitter in his eyes come back. His room had dark blue walls with bright red curtains, many CD's and DVD's were scattered underneath his bed which was unmade and the covers made me smile as I tried not to laugh, he was obviously a big Marvel comic fan as he had stacks of them on his shelves and his bed covers were of Spiderman and his pillow case was Batman.

Coffee Shop The coffee shop was warm and comfortable. The mis-matched strewn furniture fit the customer base well. I'm not sure what it was about it, but I always came here when I needed a break from my own suffering. I felt out of place from the patrons. After all, I was only in high school and these people looked like they had reached the end of their lives. Except for a few. It was also pretty awkward to think that I could be out partying with some jocks if I really wanted to, but to be honest I was never really into that. I was still awkward and strained when it came to human interactions.

"I just worry Zexion, you've been through too much," Axel sighed as he placed a kiss on the top of my head, Vexen smiled slightly at us when he managed to get around our embrace and shuffled into the kitchen.

I had to take back my original thoughts on kissing because it wasn't strange; it wasn't as disgusting as I thought. Having to endure English with Axel was incredibly irritating, the stupid spiky head moron didn't seem to understand the fact that I didn't want to speak to him, that I was uncomfortable with the whole 'friend' aspect. During class he had ruffled my hair countless times and had even had the cheek to put his arm around my shoulders and sway me from side to side to show off to his new friend, Demyx, who was also a person who thought that he could be overly friendly with me. I didn't even like Demyx, for one thing the boy was just too hyper active, who would want to be like that in front of other people? It was almost as if he didn't care what people think and lets be honest now, people constantly tell me to be myself and that it doesn't matter what other people think, but when you're out in the real world, it does, everything matters and you have to put up a wall to hide yourself behind because like it or not, people are going to judge you if you be yourself, which is exactly w

He was always in my dreams. Every night without fail he'd be there.
I sat up in bed, breathing heavily, a cold sweat clinging to my skin. Putting a hand to my head, I squeezed my eyes shut and tried to calm myself. Why was this happening? So much time had passed since I'd last seen him, so why did I still think about him when I had no reason to?
I jumped at the sound of a soft knocking at my door. "Katara? You up yet?" Came the familiar voice of Aang, my best friend and boyfriend for a year.

Zuko's Hair: the SymbolismIt is a widespread and somewhat controversial theory that Zuko's changing hairstyles throughout the three seasons of Avatar: the Last Airbender are symbolic of the internal changes which he experiences over the course of that time. I personally support this theory.Zuko's Hair: the Symbolism4 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
Let's begin with the basics. I am going to explain the theory at its core in the simplest of terms, and then explain the thought process which led me to this theory.
When you see Season One Zuko, with his ponytail, what do you think? I'm willing to bet that you think "bad". You may deepen this label by throwing in such choice terms as "angry", "bitter", "hurting", "confused", "searching for answers", and the like, but on the surface, it's just "bad". Now let's skip ahead 63 episodes. We are now in season three, and Zuko has shaggy hair. When you see this Zuko, what do you think? You think "good". You may also think "changed", "redeemed", "honorable", "noble", or "forgiven", but basically what you think is "good".
