Dystopia vs UtopiaThe world had changed. It was the same, but it was different. It pulsed with mechanical whirring. The sky had long since stopped being blue. It now showed its stains of orange and red and purple, signs of the deadly gases. Garbage crowded the streets and sewers overflowed. Rodents ran about afraid of nothing. Roaches, bedbugs, and lice plagued everything. Skeletal cars flipped on their roofs or sides, some with mangled decaying corpses. Sirens blared somewhere. In a dim-lit alley, somethingor someonemoved. Movement on a rooftop had feral cats hissing at the disturbance, and packs of wild dogs chasing after it. The figure stopped and frowned at the destroyed city. It felt the constant pounding of engines under its feet. "I want out."
The more things had changed, the more they stayed the same. Perfect manicured lawns presented perfect blue houses with white picket fences. Little flower beds bordered brick walkways and hybrid cars slept in thei
Dystopia vs Utopia IIFree, free at last! Finally out. Where to go? Which way? Who cares? Just go! The figure walked along the road under smog-laden skies. It followed the wreckage of asphalt and twisted metal. Whatever lay ahead had to be better than the ruins behind it. It found a strange device in one car, a board with wheels. It tested the durability, and then stood on it. After a few tries, the figure was moving much faster. It gave a hum of pleasure. The scarf fluttered behind it. Traveling made easier, the figure pushed on hoping to find another city, one that wasn't destroyed. It doubted such a place existed. There couldn't be a place where the air was safe to breath and food readily available. Crows called out in indignation as they were interrupted from their meals. The figure didn't care.Dystopia vs Utopia II3 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
The sun sank slowly below the horizon, the lamps lit up, and the figure continued reading. The elderly woman kept babbling on about something coming. It turned another page. It would not move or care unti
the tower part 4Train started towards his own room when Hojo found him in the hall.the tower part 47 years ago in Fantasy More Like This
"Train? You feeling okay?" Train shook his head no. Then he told his brother all his
worries. After Train was done, Hojo kissed him on the cheek. "Don't forget the present I
gave you." Lexy left with Hojo down the hall.
Meanwhile,Lys was waiting for Train. She had blue eyes and long blonde hair that was the color of Oklahoman wheat. Train was the boyfriend that wasn't perverted, or vulgar, in any way.
"Train, where are you?"she asked exasperatedly to herself.
"Right here." Lys jumped. She wasn't expecting him to suddenly show up like that. He smiled.

He zig-zagged his way through the gardens, taking only the shortest pathways.
Lexy managed to keep on his trail, although it was hard. Train led her to Hojo's room.
"Nii-san?"Train knocked three times on the door,then entered."Hojo nii-san?"

The tower part 2 Train leaped off his mushrooms so he could see properly."Why aren't you at the Tower?"The tower part 27 years ago in Fantasy More Like This
Lexy asked rudely.Train repeated,"You know that I'm not allowed while they're having their
meeting. Besides,"he laid down on his stomach and started drawing in the dirt,"I don't want to. It's better out here."Lexy was starting to get annoyed with her friend's lazy, care-free attitude.
"I'm hungry."Train suddenly blurted out.
"It's not yet time, though,"Train said, more to himself than to Lexy.
"You're starting to annoy me."train dismissed this.He was annoyed the watch he was
wearing wasn't digital. This stupid watch!i can't tell time. "Alright,it's time."Train got
up,then brushed himself off."Time for what?"Lexy asked.
"Don't know.Maybe the time that the meeting ends?"Smiling lazily,he walked towards the
Tower. Lexy had to run to catch up.She looked at the ground.
"What about them?"
"There's only four!

fade to orange. He smiled as the orange sky slowly melted into deep red, followed by a
fushia shade of purple. Lying down, Train smiled. He loved being outside in weather like
this. It was late winter, but felt like mid-spring.
"Why aren't you at the feast?Train-kun?" Lexy walked into sight, and Train focused on the
streak of ruby amist the ebony hair. He rolled over on his stomach. "You know it's not for
those from Purgihellven. Besides, with weather like this, the Tower shiloueted agiant the sunset, and thesegiant mushrooms, why would anybody want to be inside?" Train smiled; Lexy stared maliciouly at him,she hated that cheshire grin, those pointed cat teeth.
Lexy tried to climb up the mushroom to Train, but couldn't. Train got tired of watching her and climbed down, his tail whiplashing.

"Okay, okay,I give! I give!" Train said jovially. He and Lys had always been best friends. It was like all his problems vanished while she was around; They were continuously laughing and having a good time together. Sometimes, late at night, both Train and Lys would sneak out of their rooms. During those hours of stolen time, the events that took place were kept so discret that neither Lys' friend Sean or Train's current lover, whoever it was, knew. Now was one of those stolen hours, and time was running out.
Train took Lys by the hand. "Let's go out tonight!" He said. "Here's the plan: dinner, a movie, then back home for some time in the garden. Sound good?" Lys blushed; Train was rarely serious about their time together.
"Sounds perfect, honey." Lys replied softly, hugging him. At the restruant, Lys could have sworn

"Where were you last night, you two?" Lexy and Hojo asked. They were the only ones who knew Train and Lys dissappeared. Train sighed and shook his head.
"At a movie?" he replied, "We went to a resturant, then to the movies, hung out in the garden a bit, and here we are." Lys looked nodded, looking away. A little more than what Train had said had happened. Lexy saw something was wrong, but said nothing about it. After all, hadn't she called Train a slut before?
'Oh, well,' she thought, 'They've always been like this.'
Hojo let Train and Lys off the hook.......for the moment. His brother smiled lazily, a distinct sign something more had happened.

So to get them I had tried
But everywhere I went
I found that they had died
So the ones that I gave you
I said were real and lied.
But the ones that I now give you
Are very truly real
Blood red and deepest blue
To tell you how I feel
So with every day away from you
Some time for you I'll steal.
For the longest time I waited
But the price was still too steep
So while I waited for your call
I went where shadows creep
Then I heard your call
Across the gap so deep.
Tell me that you heard me
That I didn't waste my time
Waiting for an answer
To say that they weren't mine
Tell me that it's all right
And everything will be fine.
