Those Green EyesShe glanced back over her shoulder. Her green eyes appeared to glow in the sunlight sifting through the window. "I'll see you later, right?"
"Yeah. Um, does five sound good?"
She walked back to him. "Five sounds great."
He smiled, staring into those green eyes again. "All right. I'll see you then."
A man of about twenty-five years shuffled his way up to the top of a hill. In front of him stood a mass of people, all dressed in black, some stifling their faces with tissues, others were guiding family members with a firm hand.
God, if I had only known...
But he hadn't. He had been waiting patiently at that cheesy Italian restaurant on the corner of Wayne Street and 7th Avenue for two long hours, the alight candle on his table dwindling to an idle ember. After forty minutes passed, he called her on his cell phone, and left a simple message telling her to call him back as soon as possible. Three martinis later, his phone vibrated in his back pocket. if death had kissed meif death had kissed me4 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
As i lay here dying,
choking on my bloody breath,
i feel the agonizing caress, of the ruthless thing called death,
I smile as his kisses, make my vision darker,
i breath a snicker, as i watch your pleading face gets starker.
now your sad to watch me go,
death is a weed in the garden of life, watch it grow.
death kisses my throat, making me choke,
why are you crying? my life was just a joke.
Because death now fancy's me, IM important, IM loved,.
because my chains of life, are being pulled from above,
i smirk as you stare,
watching you sob and gasp for air,
death hugs me close, my body tightens,
at the end of the tunnel, a light brightens,
blood fountains from my paling lips,
on my "pretty" little face the paint begins to chip.
the worthless is fading, as he brings the kiss to a close,
so i'm sad, now everyone knows.
To late to try and fix it,
as my heart pumps its final beats, i don't regret it,
death draws back, this kiss is sealed,
death has dealed,
now im gone, away from the pain,
Angels of my nightmaresAngels of my nightmares4 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
So, i used to have this angel, with pitch black wings,
he showed me such dark, pretty little things,
and in the darkness, he held me close.
he treated me like a princess, better than most,
but one day, when i reach for my dark angel through the dark,
i felt no warm finger tips, no loving spark,
he left me.
I cried, begged, made a plea,
that he would come back for me,
Then, something shined through my darkness,
it took away my hate, worry, sadness, and stress.
when i reached, it took my hand,
i was able to stand again,
i smiled, as i saw a different angel, with white wings,
he showed me such happy, beautiful things,
i laughed and smiled,
he was spontaneousness, brave, loving, and wild,
then, my dark angel came,
furious and needy,
my white angel snarled, thinks my dark angel greedy,
my light became shadowed, everything a daze,
choking on the gray in a panicked haze,
they hissed and growled,
bared teeth and prowled,
my dark angel left me again, broken and sad,
my light angel held me, furi

Under my bed.
"Come on and open me," it said.
"You would have heaps of fun if you did.
All you have to do is prop my lid."
I pushed my hands against my face,
From the very top, all the way down to my stubby chin.
"No, no," I cried, "You'll never do me in."
I heard a haughty laugh
Bellow from below.
Then the voice continued to persuade my soul:
"If you think I'm trying to 'do you in',
I can assure you, I will not make you sin.
I only wish for you to open me up;
Give a glance and backup

Fluffy, pink, and etched in ink.
When parallels seemed to blend
And collect in a wad of rainbow at the end
Of your mind.
Ideas spiraled in and out of your head
Without a moment's dread
Of what will come soon enough."
I drew in a deep breath,
Wanting everything the voice had described.
None of it appeared cold, I rationalized.
Maybe I should just hurry and make a choice.

Your smile told a tale of betrayal.
Your lips tasted like ink.
But your words were so blissfully said.
I loved your words.
I was too blind to see your devilish grin.
Though this day I saw through your deceit.
And these are the words I tell to you.
I won't exhale these words.
I won't breathe in yours
I'll take back my wasted breath,
and give your sorrowed words away.
I won't wake up.
I won't think of you.
I'll fall to the sky.
I wont stop til, I hit the ground.
Goodbye to you my dear.
I won't shed a single tear.
But I hope you will.
Oddly Relieved, Chapter 6"How're you feeling?" Ron asked Hermione softly.Oddly Relieved, Chapter 64 years ago in Romance More Like This
"Alright, I guess," she replied, looking into Ron's eyes. "But my body aches all over from the Cruciatus Curse."
"Oh," said Ron awkwardly. Having never been put under the Cruciatus Curse, he had no idea what it felt like.
"But never mind me," Hermione said, smiling for the first time since she had fainted, "how are you?" She placed her hand on Ron's leg comfortingly, rolling her thumb over his knee.
Ron shivered as he watched Hermione's hand on his knee, his eyes wide. They had held hands before, and hugged many times, but this was a new gesture; however, Ron wasn't complaining. It felt too good for words having Hermione's hand on his leg, caring about what happened to him.
Hermione must have seen his wide eyes, and taken that to mean he was uncomfortable, because she removed her hand, blushing.
"Uh I'm fine," Ron said. "I was mostly worried about you. You know," he continued, "you were brilliant, not caving in when that horrible wo
Oddly Relieved, Chapter 5He stepped out into the night. It was cool and breezy, not befitting a night of such tragedy. Ron had been outside for two seconds, when Dean called out from inside the cottage, "Ron! Wait, I'm coming, too."Oddly Relieved, Chapter 54 years ago in Romance More Like This
Ron, still not forgetting what he had seen Dean and his baby sister doing in sixth year, slowed, but did not stop.
Eventually, Dean fell into step with him, and a very awkward silence ensued. Sensing why Ron wasn't speaking to him, Dean said, "Y'know, I'm sorry about what you, er, saw me and Ginny doing last year."
Immediately, the image of Dean and Ginny wrapped in a tight embrace popped into his mind.
"Yeah," Dean continued, "I reckon I wouldn't want to see anyone with my little sister like that."
Ron snorted. I bet you wouldn't
"So, yeah, sorry," Dean finished quietly, apprehensive of Ron's demeanor.
More silence. Ron breathed in the salty sea air. He took another deep breath, and could smell a faint scent of vanilla and green apple coming from his shirt: Hermione's
Oddly Relieved, Chapter 1Ron couldn't believe it. He, Harry, and Hermione had been found by the Snatchers. After evading capture for months, Harry had slipped and said Voldemort's name. At once, the protective charms set up by Hermione were broken.Oddly Relieved, Chapter 14 years ago in Romance More Like This
Many feeble excuses later, he was being dragged by one of the Snatchers through the suffocating darkness, his mouth still bleeding from where Scabior had punched him. The sensation lifted as quickly as it had begun, and Ron, along with the other four captives, was being forcefully led up a long drive that ended in a large iron gate: the Malfoy manor.
The Snatcher that had Apparated with Ron let go of him and strode up to the gate. Ron licked his lips; it seemed the bleeding had slowed. He turned to look at Hermione on Harry's right. Her face was shockingly white, yet determined. It was one of the many things Ron loved about her; how she could show bravery, even in the most dangerous of times.
"How do we get in?" the Snatcher called. "They're locked, Greyback, I can'

For a second, he thought that Bellatrix was going to murder him, but instead she hit him hard across the face. His cheek stung.
"If she dies under questioning" ─ Ron's stomach gave an unpleasant lurch ─ "I'll take you next. Blood traitor is next to Mudblood in my book. Take them downstairs, Greyback, and make sure they are secure, but do nothing more to them ─ yet."
Bellatrix gave Greyback his wand back, took out a short silver knife, and cut Hermione loose from the others. She dragged Hermione by her hair to the middle of the room. As Greyback forced the prisoners through the door, it was all Ron could do to not cry out for Hermione, to tell her that he loved her, that he would get her out if it was the last thing he ever did.
"Reckon she'll let me have a bit of the girl when she's finished with her?" Greyback crooned at Ron. "I'd say I

skin over muscle over long, slim limbs.
There was a heartbeat - maybe two -
when slants of sun caught your melting eyes
and I was mesmerized.
There were hours where my skin wanted you,
where my hands clamored for you,
where you lingered -
all dark silk curls
taut ivory skin
and sin -
at the corner of my eye.
And you were mine.
Now we are made of status updates
and long lace ribbons of texts -
twisting figure eights
and poising our words to skim over our flaws.
Now we exist in playback and pause.
Now our words are big and our hopes bigger
and it's all we can do to skate around the snag
in our long lace ribbons -
the fact that my hands clamor at emptiness
and I linger here, breathless,
but the sun has shifted past
and you are no longer mine.
The Siren's SongWhispered tunes on the breezeThe Siren's Song4 years ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
Are the soul's delight
Figures swimming gracefully
Appearing by moonlight.
Long hair floating on the waves
A string of pearls that glow
Eyes as green as the sea
A tail elegant and beautiful!
But behold the danger!
Do not look too long,
Be neither charmed nor hypnotized
By the siren's song!
Though her eyes shine bright
And her power is strong
Though her words are sweet and strange
Beware the Siren's song!
For a deadly world waits below
To swallow you and then,
You'll drowned beneath the waves
The siren's won again!
Your mouth will fill with salt
Your eyes will see only black
Cold and dark is your doom
There is no turning back
So beware the siren's song
Her notes of magic be
The last thing a sailor hears
Before he's drowned at sea

I'm trying hard,
But it's hard to resist.
I did it
Now I'll go to sleep.
Hoping that tomorrow,
The cut will be deep.
