AshamedIt was one of those cloudy, rainy days. I was actually kind of glad for that, I hated the sun. Indoors is more of my thing. Anyways, before I accidentaly get off subject, my dad was going to this indoor volleyball thing. I didn't really pay attention to the details, as I don't care much for sports. I asked if I could stay in the car, and he said that was fine.
As soon as he left I locked the car, as I'm very paranoid. Then I tuned the radio to my favorite station and turned up the volume as loud as I could without busting my ear drums. Now that I had felt comfortable, I pulled out my Gameboy, which I had brought with me. And inside it was FireRed. I turned the volume on my GameBoy down, as I wanted to listen to the radio while I played my game.
It had been a while since I last played the game. When my save file loaded I found myself to be standing on Treasure Beach, that island below One Island. I opened the menu and clicked on my Pokemon, to find my normal party, except for a Dratini

I turned and started running back to the car, "Daddy! Daddy!! My DS!!" I urgently screeched to him, as if we were under attack. "I got it!" He called back to me as he got out of the car. I sighed in relief as I saw my beloved pink DS in his hands. "Gimme it!" I told him as I raced up to him, tried to pry my treasure out of his grip. "No, I'm carrying it in. I don't want you breaking it, like you would have just a minute ago when you tripped and fell."
I pouted and gave up. I sullenly walked back to the store with him. As soon as we stepped inside, he handed me my DS. I quickly snatch

My other Pokemon don't really like her, but they'll just have to get used to her because I'm definately not letting her go.

Just to get groceries and nothing more.
But something caught my gaze,
It was a plush that stood out in the haze.
Charizard, the beast of flames,
They were prone to have those names.
I begged for it until my mom gave in,
I squeeled and threw the toy in our bin.
Once we arrived at our abode,
I switched into my creative mode.
Me and Charizard had many adventures,
In my room and yard to even the dish washers.
We both had so much fun,
Playing all day out in the sun.
But our absolute greatest plunder,
Is when I stopped to stare at him in wonder.
I noticed a slot in his back,
I unzipped it and found a pack.
It was filled to the brim with candy,
Well, wasn't that quite handy?
Awfully hungry and completely wore out,
I thought to myself without a doubt:
Don't want this candy to go to waste, hey,
Might as well eat this and call it a day!
I munched and chewed on the treat,
I thought that it was really neat,

Pokemon: PerfectI squinted my eyes, trying to read what the screen was telling me. All the mixed colors were so confusing, and I had hardly learned how to properly read those strange lines yet. "I focused, trying to remember the letters I had learned in class and how to pronounce them. "W... Waaaa... Watle?" I mumbled, not really understanding what the word meant, or if I had got it right. "Why are you even looking at my trainer card?" I opened my mouth, having not really thinking of a response yet but wanting to look smart, but he cut me off anyways, "Whatever." He fumbled around with the DS, pressing buttons in a mystical pattern I couldn't imagine ever perfecting. After a minute he gave it back to me. I eagerly clutched the game. The character was standing in the middle of the dirt road once more, ready for battle. I was relieved, as I didn't really know how to exit out

Reluctantly, I handed over my Gameboy and Pokemon Emerald cartridge to my little sister. With a squeel, she turned it on and started playing. I sighed. I don't like her messing with my games, but she didn't have any video games of her own. Plus she was leveling up my own Pokemon for free, and you can't really beat that deal.
"Come out come out whever you are Pokemon~" I shook my head as my sibling spoke to the inanimate object. I grabbed my DS and popped Diamond in. I flew to Hearthome and decided to randomly make some Poffins for the heck of it. I had plenty of Oran berries to spare. I threw one into the mix.
I stirred the dough, careful not to burn it. I pride myself at how well I can make Poffins without burning them or over flowing them at all. I stirred with the same, perfect grace I always did-

I cursed as I stroked the mix too much and caused it to overflow. S
PMD: Explorers Of Death V2It was one of those normal Friday evenings. My dad and I were at the mall, strolling around and gazing at the vast collection of stores. After several minutes of aimless wandering, I finally found a store that caught my attention. GameStop. I squealed as much as when a little child gets a new puppy. Before even asking for permission, I raced into the store. My father regretfully followed me in.
I ran to and fro, carefully examining every game up for sale. Most of them I either already had, or they seemed tasteless and dull. I groaned, and was just about to give up hope when my eye caught a game I hadn't noticed before. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of the Sky. My spirits soared as I greedily snatched the game from the shelf and sprinted back towards my dad.

It started about... what, 2 months ago? Yeah, 2 months ago, about halfway through October. I was on Youtube, searching for random videos of who knows what when one of the people I subscribed uploaded a video. They were uploading a video that had scary video game music every day of the month until Halloween, and so far they had been uploading some pretty good and very unnerving music I had never heard before. So I was shocked to see they had uploaded Pokemon music.
I clicked on it anyways. It was the old, first version of the Lavender Town theme song. When I listened to the theme I remembered hearing it before, when I had played through the game. It honestly didn't sound scary at all to me, I actually even liked hearing it. But then I looked at the comments on the video.
Some users were talking about how Japanese kids had committed suicide on themselves after listening to this song. Interested,
Pokemon LoveLostTo cut a long intro short, I found a used copy of SoulSilver at my dear local GameStop. It was cheap, so I bought it with my own money, and I went home to play it, usual scenario. When I started to play it though, my little sister kept annoying me, begging for me to let her play it too. I told her I would let her play it later, and she pouted, as expected, but didn't argue any more.Pokemon LoveLost4 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
I started the game up, and everything seemed fine and dandy. That is, until the title screen visualized. It was solid black with the white words, "LoveLost". I was a bit disappointed that this was a hacked game, as I thought I really had gotten away with getting a cheap Pokémon game. Since I had it though, I thought I might as well play it. So I casually selected start.
When the game started up, it just took me straight to the screen where you choose your trainer's gender. Instead of a trainer sprites though, there was an Espeon sprite for the male, and Glaceon for the female. I thought for a bit, and

Unreleased Pokémon, scrapped events and plot, whole unused areas, tons of odd tidbits of unused data and text... It was really something. This coupled along with the fact that boredom is boring, and ROMs are free and easy.
I wasted about half of my day searching codes, finding out which beta element was where, how to hack this item, the whole package. To my PokéBeta unsatisfaction, most of the beta elements couldn't be found through codes and hacking. Well, from my very limited hacking skills that mainly relied on codes anyways.
After tinkering around though, I finally found some codes that unlocked unused text, which was my first big achievement of the day. Most was random and useless, and caused

March 14 2010. Today I'm getting Pokemon Soulsilver. I'm happy, I've been saving up alot of money for today, And I heard the game was supposed to be good. It's a remake of one of my favorite Game Boy Advance games. I sent my mom out to buy the game since I wanted to play my Pokemon Diamond for a little while before I forget about it when I get my newer game.
Eventually my mom came back with my SoulSilver DS Cartridge. It was in a silver box that was shining, and had an odd texture to it. On the cover was Lugia in an attack-like pose with "Pokemon SoulSilver" marked on the near-bottom of the box. It also came with a Pokewalker, Which from what I heard was supposed to help kids get out more to raise their Pokemon.
Pleeease.. I said to myself quietly. I'm probaly not even going to use the silly thing anyways. Ignoring that thought, I opened up the case from the side to see my SoulSilver game Cover and my Pokewalker wrapped in some sort of packaging plastic.
PokePark Wii: Pikachu's ReturnPoképark Wii to me was one of those games I picked up once, powered through, then never touched again. It's fun and amusing the first round, but after a while the mini-games and running to and fro get a tad bit stale. That thing must've been one of the single most frustrating bosses I've ever fought in my gaming life. To think such a simple game would have something so frustrating to end it off still boggles my mind. I sure wasn't going to re-challenge it for fun any time soon. When you think about it, it's really no wonder Mew is stuck up alone on that Sky Pavilion with no friends.
Somewhere along the line the pleas of the Pokémon for me to return must have gotten to me, since recently I found a desire to play the game once more. When I turned the game on, I had figured I wouldn't be playing for very long. I'd just run a
Event Gone WrongWhen I found out there was a new event for HG/SS that allowed players to get a Mew, I was excited to say the very least. I had never in any of my Pokémon games come to own a Mew, given the Nintendo events for them had since past and I wasn't about to risk screwing up a game with the Mew glitch. I was at my sister's when I found out and was unfortunately without my DS at the time, so I had to wait until I was back at my dad's to receive my Mew. Just about the moment I got back in the house, I immediately went off to get my new Pokémon; despite not being that big of a Pokémon fan anymore, the anticipation of receiving this rare and special bunch of data brought back some of the excitement I used to feel when I first started playing the games.Event Gone Wrong5 years ago in Short Stories More Like This

It was the christmas of 2003 I believe. I was overjoyed at having my own video game station. It came with the games Super Mario Sunshine, Pac Man World 2, and Pokemon Channel. Each of those games still hold a special place in my heart today. As soon as the Gamecube was set up and ready to go I began playing it immediately.
The first game I played was Super Mario Sunshine. This game is what got me hooked onto the Mario series. After playing it for hours straight and finally finding a level I just couldn't get past I turned to Pac Man World 2. Amazingly enough, I got stuck on level two.

I mean, who hasn't tried out one of the three 'Mew Glitch' methods out at some point? I know I had tried the first two methods before with no issues, and I wanted to give 'Method #3' aka the Ditto Method a shot.
I was playing through Yellow anyway after all, a Nuzlocke challenge that I had already beaten, and
my team wasn't doing much else anyway
I decided today would be the day I finally caught a glitch Pokemon, after all, I wanted to see what kind of damage this one could do in battle- I heard it was relatively safe to capture, and it wouldn't destroy my save data.
So, I went online and looked up how to do 'the Ditto method'. I knew that in order to catch Mew with this method, you had to have a Pokemon with a Special stat of 21, but as I was hunting for a glitch Pokemon, I had to have a Special stat high up in the 150 and over range.
As I was looking on Bulbapedia to see which glitch Pokemon were available

"Oh wow, Pokemon HeartGold!"
I plucked the shining game package from the torn wrapping paper, a grin stretched across my face.
Though I had already played SoulSilver a few months earlier, I was eager to start fresh, and play as a different character with new Pokemon to control.
That's why I asked for it for my 18th birthday. I was as excited as a child, and instantly started my new game.
Being used to a dark, underwater atmosphere, I smiled a bit when I saw the pixelated Ho-oh flying across the HeartGold title screen, its wings sparkling in the sunlight.
I began my game with the name "Gold". Original, I know. But as a reader of the Pokemon Adventures manga, I wanted to name the game characters after their comic counterparts. My rival was named Silver, and I chose Cyndaquil as my starter.
After wishing my in-game mom goodbye, I began my virtual adventure. Though I've been playing these games since Red and Blue days, I've always experienced a thrill when each game starts.

You're here. I was waiting for you. There are some things I'd like to discuss with you about something I found, or more so, given. It began this afternoon, right before the sun went down and night fell. I was lonely, for I heard no word of anyone; not you, not my partner, no one. This soon ended when there were multiple knocks on my front door. The knocking was very gentle and weak, unlike how it usually was, and then a small voice said softly;
"Hello ? Her ?"
I got up, and opened the door, to be met with a young boy, seemingly about ten years of age, with an expressionless, dazed look on his face. He just stood there for a few seconds, and then asked me, "Are you her?" I responded, "Her who?" He said, "The one who looks up hacked games?" I answered, "Yes, I am " Suddenly, I heard shouting.
