GIR slowly crept into the living room, where Zim was leaning back on the couch with his head propped up on his hand, watching TV. His eyelids were flickering, but he refused to go to sleep. Sleep was a useless distraction for an Invader such as himself.
GIR ignored the TV for once; it was on the military channel, and something about big guns blowing actual people to bits instead of special effects on paid actors depressed him. Instead, he climbed up next to Zim and pulled on his sleeve. "Mastah?"
With a slightly irritated twitch of the antenna, Zim looked down at him. "What now, GIR?"
"Um " GIR fiddled nervously with the book in his hands before saying, "Will you read me a bedtime story?"
"Read it to yourself," Zim replied.
GIR had expected that, but he was persistent. "Please? I want you to read it to me. Just one time. Please, Master?" He waved the book in front of Zim's face.
With a sigh, Zim stood up, scooping GIR up into an arm. "All right, fine. But only becaus
Stuck in the Closet- ZAGIR Request“Yay! We’re going to a Partieeee!” a happy dog yelled as it ran only to be stopped by a leash that it’s master was manipulating. “Silence GIR!” the green master yelled as he was rubbing his contacts which were irritating him, “ZIM is not impressed with going to the Dib stink’s party!” ZIM was not pleased with going to a birthday party, but namely his only nemesis since the day on he landed on Earth, Dib. It was nearing seven thirty pm in the summer as he viewed other kids walking in the same direction. “Going to the party ZIM?” a girl by the name of Gaby asked with a streak of excitement in her voice only to get a snort as a response. He knew that the Gaby-human liked Dib and that thought left him with a sickening feeling in his stomach. Love was never something that the small Irken comprehended or wanted to include in his life. Little did he know that this party was probably going to change his mind. After ZIStuck in the Closet- ZAGIR Request3 years ago in Settings More Like This
I Never Got The MoonMaster conquered Earth That should be a good thing, right?I Never Got The Moon5 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
You can have the Moon he said, he said, as soon as I conquer Earth
I never got the Moon
I lay there, on a scrap pile, alone and frightened
My sight is failing, mostly I see blurs
Those Tall guys came to Earth, Master looked so proud as he stood on the body of the Dib-Human
I stood next to him, very happy
These Soldiers came and grabbed me, I hadn't a chance to react
Master yelled at them, telling them to put me down
But they didn't
They grabbed him, he hissed and cursed at them. Demanding they put him down
They turned me off after that
I haven't seen Master since
For some reason, all I can think is
I never got the Moon .
A blurry figure walks up to me
I can make out to maroon eyes and a hot pink invader outfit
"I've been looking for you " He said in a weak voice, sounding defeated
This couldn't be my Master!
My Master is strong!
He picked me up and held me close, beginning to walk

Zim lifted his head from the pillow and blinked with bleary vision.
Gir stared up at him with big, blue eyes.
He shifted his weight from one leg to the other, clutching his old, worn, stuffed piggy to his chest.
"Can I..C-can I sleep...with you?"
At this point Gir's glowing components were making Zim's eyes tired, and he'd give anything to just roll over and go back to sleep, but he had to ask.
"What for? Don't you have your own room, with your own bed?"
Gir instinctively tightened his grip on the piggy, looking a little ashamed.
"I had a scary dream..."
Zim yawned, pulling back the covers in deafeat. The other gave an excited little jump and clambered in beside his master, the stuffed animal squeaking loudly underneath him.
Gir snuggled up to him, their bodies fitting together perfectly. Despite the cold metal pressing against his skin, Zim quickly started falling back to sleep.

Zim glared out the window of his house at the deadly white flakes drifting down. They looked so harmless and almost serene. If it wasn't for the fact that they were nothing more than frozen water, which could cause severe burns unless he was prepared. Since he didn't want to take a paste bath, though, he was staying inside where it was toasty warm and waiting until the snow stopped.
GIR was outside building a snowman while MiniMoose looked for rocks to use for the facial features. GIR waved at Zim. "Mastah, come outside! Please?" His voice was loud enough that it was easily heard from inside.
For about the tenth time in the past few minutes, Zim shook his head. "No GIR! The snow can burn me, remember?"
"Then wear a hoodie!"
"A hoodie?" Zim hadn't thought of that. "Computer, my jacket."
Computer threw a red, hooded jacket at him. Its left chest pocket was marked with the irken insignia. He pulled it on and zipped it all the way up, then laid his ante

"What're you reading?" the familiar voice said from behind him.
Without turning around, Dib reached back with an arm and pulled Zim toward him, holding him close. "Just looking to see if there are any new announcements."
Surprised but pleased at finding himself this close to his human, Zim stretched up onto the tips of his toes so he could rest his head against Dib's shoulder, reading the board too. "Hey, look!" He pointed at a bright flyer. "All applicants for homecoming king and queen need to talk to the principal before January 10th!"
"So?" Dib had no clue why Zim would bring that up.
"So we should go for it!"
"Zim we're both males."
"So? We can be homecoming king and king!"
"I don't think they do that."
"We can ask."
"Well okay, I suppose it's worth asking. It's ten minutes until the first bell. Do you think that's enough?"
"Of course it is. Let's go." Zim grabbed his wrist and dragged him through th

"I don't understand your fascination with plants," Zim commented as he grudgingly walked next to the tall human. "Sure, they're pretty. But they don't really have much purpose "
"Don't have much purpose?" Dib repeated. "Dude, they take in harmful carbon dioxide and emit oxygen. Humans breathe oxygen."
"Oh, right. Wait, this is oxygen we're breathing?" Zim looked surprised by this bit of information. "Huh."
Dib sighed. "Didn't you pay attention in science class for the last " He counted the number of years Zim has been here, "Five years?"
"Nope. I already knew all of it and I BSed the tests." Zim leaned down to examine a bee as it alighted on a flower, sucking out the nectar. A thin film of pollen coated its fat body.
"You know, because of a bee's ratio of wing surface area to body weight, they shouldn't even be able
Numb-ZaDr Zim was numb, completely and utterly numb from head to toe as he just sat there and stared at Ms. Bitters. It was a lie, it couldn't be true, he thought out of desperation. Crimson eyes were completely void of their usual ecstatic emotion, being replaced by grief and disbelief. Unknown to him the class had already continued, but he didn't care. He simply sat there staring blankly at where the teacher had been.

ZaDR - Homecoming Part 2A few weeks passed, and soon, it was time to vote for homecoming king and queen. Dib managed to convince Zim that they should vote for someone other than themselves, since that wasn't very modest. After much deliberation, they agreed to cast both of their votes on Zita and her boyfriend. Dib even managed to keep Zim from demanding to know who voted for him afterward.ZaDR - Homecoming Part 24 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
The day of the dance came. Since they were candidates, they had to go to all of the events before the actual dance, such as the pep rally, basketball, and football games. Though they weren't interested in sports, they agreed anyway. They didn't have much choice, and besides, the pep rally might be fun. It was where the king and queen would be crowned.
"Or king and king," Zim reminded Dib as they walked to the gym. They were already wearing their semi-formal clothes, having changed right after their last class.
"Or king and king," Dib agreed. They entered the gym. Since they were candidates, they had their own area where th

"That was actually kinda fun," Gaz said, referring to their earlier dance.
"Yeah, I like it," Zim agreed.
"Kinda makes you tired, though." Her hand was pressed to her chest as she took deep breaths.
"It's supposed to. It's an exercise as well as a dance."
"One bottle of water," Zim said to the lady in the concession stand. She fished one out of the ice-filled cooler and set it on the counter.
"One dollar," she said.
Zim dug a dollar bill out of her pocket and gave it to her, then picked up the bottle. The ice-cold water clinging to its outside made him flinch as it burned his skin. He quickly handed it to Gaz and wiped his hand off on his pant leg.
"Thanks." She twisted the lid off and drank deeply. They walked back to where Dib was sitting. "You sure Dib won't get jealous?" she asked.
"Oh, no. It's a dance. He won't care. Dib's not the jealous type," Zim replied. "If anything, I'm the jealous one. I never like anyone near him. Like this one
