The Evanescence Poem
I want to lose control, like you do when you're missing yourself. I'm haunted day and night without myself. Someone, bring me to life and give me a tourniquet to hold my heart and veins together again. Hopefully I'll be good enough for someone, I'm frightened of going under the surface like I did before. With my last breath, and until I breathe no more, I will stay a surfaced. You made me hurt and weep when you were drunken with hate. Now you whisper my name for your selfish needs? Call me when you're sober, then I'll see, til' then you're everybody's fool and an imaginary lover. You are the only one I know that hurts me for pleasure. Let the weight of the world push down on your shoulders, and I hope you fall. Now, love and life is all that I'm living for.......

I won't surrender my life because you asked me nicely
I won't go farther away because you told me to
I want you to leave, away from me and take your loathing with you
I said I would do anything for you, but you took advantaged of my spoken words
Where will you go now, love? Go where you please, but anywhere near me.
Your exodus will be me taking a breath for the first time
We were once so close, now we're strangers towards one another
Give unto me relief, no more of this grief
I want to say I slept well before the dawn and not after sunrise
Wanting to believe that eventually my wounds will heal and not bleed anymore
I'd rather be in love with solitude forever then you
So depart from me and my life, all I can say is goodnight and I pray you change your ways,
My poor love.
