UN-enlarged view is about the size of the actual drawing
I've had the reference photo of this saved for over a year. I loved the highlights and the challenge with his hair and the "negative space" work required. I'm still too impatient to do it correctly, but this is the best I can do for now.

FYI...both views are larger than the drawing, and that WHITE spot where HER left eye should be in the dark I thought was cool on the reference photo HERE [link] I first converted it to B&W then cropped it down to a head shot

Well...it's about time I did a self portrait huh? The photo was taken by my daughter Maggie, when she was shooting me for business cards. Between shots I just made a goofy face It is the same kinda face I made when I was 2 years old, my parents entered me into the "Little Mr. Dallas" Baby contest. I took 2nd place lol. I should post that baby pic of me for grins? On a side note, the lighting in the reference photo makes my right (your left) eye look very dark, and slightly larger?

I drew this for a friend I've never met on Twitter, for his daughter's birthday, in exchange for a pumpkin carve. I know what you are thinking, but this guy is crazy talented. He does what we do on styrofoam pumpkins!
