A Very Black SoulI'm such a pitiful sight now, aren't I? Look at me...old, alone and full of regret. So much for the world's greatest pokemon trainer. I'm nothing more than a monster. I wish there was some way to go back to days of my youth and take back those words that sealed my fate.
Hm! You say you don't know me. I can't help but wonder if that's a good thing. You may not know my face, but surely you might have heard my name before? My name is Red. I was once declared the youngest champion in Kanto's history and the only one to hold the title for so long. But that title is a false one. I'm not a champion. I'm nothing more than a senile old man. I said something I shouldn't have. My mother always warned me that I should never make a wish out loud because someone might be listening.
Ah, so you do know who I am! That will surely save time. I'm guessing you've come to find me to ask me how I became the champion and how I managed to hold it. The tale is not a happy one and I am not eager to share it.

I'm afraid that the same thing that happened to my dear friend, Michaela, will happen to me and you. Remember, Rotom is always watching you ...
Okay; you may call her a weirdo. Michaela mostly kept to herself. Even in the summer, she was never seen outside, but rather playing her Pokémon games in her room. She was the typical kid who got bored over summer vacation, so she restarted her Diamond game. Over and over she'd reset it, and she'd complete the entire game. She only ever forgot one part - that mansion in Eterna Forest. She may love Pokémon, but she was petrified to death of ghosts and scary movies - she never even dared to set foot in Eterna Forest again after she went through it the first time. Towards the end of summer, she got bored playing it over and over. She wanted something new. HeartGold and SoulSlver wouldn't be out until March, though, and the only other Pokémon game she had was Ruby. She didn't much like playing the GBA Games, so she instead d

March 14 2010. Today I'm getting Pokemon Soulsilver. I'm happy, I've been saving up alot of money for today, And I heard the game was supposed to be good. It's a remake of one of my favorite Game Boy Advance games. I sent my mom out to buy the game since I wanted to play my Pokemon Diamond for a little while before I forget about it when I get my newer game.
Eventually my mom came back with my SoulSilver DS Cartridge. It was in a silver box that was shining, and had an odd texture to it. On the cover was Lugia in an attack-like pose with "Pokemon SoulSilver" marked on the near-bottom of the box. It also came with a Pokewalker, Which from what I heard was supposed to help kids get out more to raise their Pokemon.
Pleeease.. I said to myself quietly. I'm probaly not even going to use the silly thing anyways. Ignoring that thought, I opened up the case from the side to see my SoulSilver game Cover and my Pokewalker wrapped in some sort of packaging plastic.

It was my first experience with the game, but I already watched the show, obsessed over the cards, and collected every piece of Pokémon merchandise I could get my hands on. The other day, when I felt like reliving that old first-time rush, I trashed my room and found Pokémon LeafGreen version. It looked a bit weird, a little darker than I remembered it being, but maybe I was just imaging things. Having not played the remake game for about two years, I didn't remember all that much about it, other than the main player characters. Ready for that old wave of nostalgia, ready to see Blue and Red, I pushed the game cartridge into my red Gameboy Advance SP, and clicked the power switch to on.forgotten data4 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This

They say the new Pokémon games have no glitches, so they hear, and some live, gory and creepy stories from the games back in the nineties. But trouble still lurks in new generations, enraged and violent for being forgotten and ignored. I knew that.
IT lives in generation 4. It knows I understand how it thinks.
So it chose me.
That day, I was with my *original, untouched* Soul Silver cartridge, playing around with my Pokémon. My friend came along with her r4, with no hacks in it or nothing. We traded Pokémon, we chatted, and we battled, like we always did. Then, I got a good idea. I looked at my Egg box, and saw a lonely Egg stored there. I didn't even know I had

She knelt down to study the water but the only thing she saw was her reflection. The water was clean and unpolluted. Krabbys scuttled along the sand and disappeared under the water's surface. In all appearances, it was completely normal. In fact it looked like an ideal spot to surf up and down. Her Blastoise would love to chase after the

Now that I had felt comfortable, I pulled out my Gameboy, which I had brought with me. And inside it was FireRed. I turned the volume on my GameBoy down, as I wanted to listen to the radio while I played my game.
It had been a while since I last played the game. When my save file loaded I found myself to be standing on Treasure Beach, that island below One Island. I opened the menu and clicked on my Pokemon, to find my normal party, except for a Dratini

I am a boy who plays RPG games, such as YS, Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy and mostly, Pokémon. Why Pokémon? Because its story is awesome and I love how the Pokémon look like. I am a fanboy of Snorlax, because I think Snorlax is awesome, despite his look. When the 4th Generation games came out, I became amused at Snorlax's pre-evolution, Munchlax, because it looks kind of funny. However, what did not amuse me was the so-called "Gonbe Effect", but that's another history.
I had a cartridge of Pokémon Fire Red, where I caught two Snorlax; a male and a female. I named them "Laxsnor" and "Snory" respectively. The names were after the Pokémon Stadium games. Everytime I challenged my friend, whose name is Rick in his Leaf Green (mine is Gar), I would always do a double battle against him and beat his entire party with Laxsnor and Snory. He always asked to himself how I beat him with the Snorlax duo.
Unfortunately, I grew bored of this game and decided to download Pok&

This soon ended when there were multiple knocks on my front door. The knocking was very gentle and weak, unlike how it usually was, and then a small voice said softly;
"Hello ? Her ?"
I got up, and opened the door, to be met with a young boy, seemingly about ten years of age, with an expressionless, dazed look on his face. The Nuzlocke Run. I'd heard about it over Deviantart, and it seemed to be a fun new way of playing my old Pokemon games that I hadn't tried before. It was supposed to make the game more challenging and get the player more attached to their Pokemon I decided I had to do it for myself. Nostalgic, I dug out my old Gold version from the closet, (since I'd never even consider the notion of erasing my beloved Crystal version.) The old cartridge was cold in my hands, but I felt warm inside as I grabbed my old Gameboy Color and some fresh batteries.

I went into town with my friends one day, we were looking in the shops and buying stuff. Me and one of my friends saw a game shop and went in it, only us two though, none of the others were interested in games.
My friend saw the Nintendo games and called me over to have a look at them.
Then I saw a game on special offer, it was second hand but that didn't matter. It was Pokemon HeartGold, my friend had already got HeartGold, but I hadn't, so I bought it.
It was weird how it was only £1, but I soon got that out of my mind.
When I arrived home from shopping with my friends, I quickly grabbed my Nintendo and took SoulSilver out the game cartridge and slotted HeartGold in. The little scene played and brought me to the start menu. The person who had originally played this had a play time of 0:30 minutes and was a male and called DEATH. I shrugged, who ever had played this game must just be trying to scare young children. So I clicked on their data and the game played.

It also seems as if only certain people meet the effects of the ROM, while others play the game normally Why this is so, I've yet to find out What I do know is that I seem to be one of those certain people,

Before I begin, allow me to give you some background information.
For my entire life I have been a fan of the Pokemon series.
It all started when I was little, when I played Pokemon Red on my old pink Game boy colour.
Yes, I was hooked from the start.
The creatures, the world, the feeling of going on an adventure, I loved everything about it.
At the time I am writing this, Pokemon Black and White have already been released in Japan but not yet in America, so I have to wait a few months until I am able to play it, since I don't want to import it. (I would have imported it if I could understand Japanese, though)
As you probably have figured out by now, while some fans tend to leave the series at one point, usually because of their disappointment with the new Pokemon, I have always liked each generation and their Pokemon equally and I will probably continue to play these games until they simply stop getting made.
Now, this brings us to the story I'd like to tell.
