He could hardly contain his excitement over this. After all, he loved the rain. And all he wanted to do was get outside.
He glanced around the inn quickly. There weren't any customers there at the moment. He, Blak, and Stone were the only ones around, and that meant that he could take a little break to head outside
"Where are you going?" came an immediate voice from behind him as soon as he laid his hand on the doorknob.
"D-Don't sneak up on me like that!" he turned around quickly. "Geez, Stone, you nearly scared me to death!" Stone shrugged quickly at him.
"What were you planning on doing outside anyway?" Stone asked, rephrasing his question from earlier.
nothing much, really," Lerin mumbled. "I just wanted to go outside for a while."

It's not something that I want to involve myself in. Not seriously, at least.
I mean, I'm the combat teacher, so you'd think that I would love fighting, right? Think that I would just love to jump right into the fray?
If you think that, well, it's wrong. Sparring is all fine and good, but full out fighting is never a good thing. Never.
We've been having a lot of trouble with fighting recently. The school keeps on getting attacked again and again by Ezion's group of vampires. They're after my brother. He considered leaving the school to protect everyone else, but I managed to convince him to stay. It's not only for my own sake, though. I can think of plenty of people here who need Ayrie. Especially one woman in particular
Either way, these vampires just keep coming back again and again. They just won't let up. And people are starting to get hurt.
And now, of all times, our powers have been stolen from us. We're as good as human now.
