Born A Traitor
From birth he has been a traitor, having betrayed nature itself, and now he was about to betray the only family he had left. After this he would have no one. His only allies would be the dark shadow he called a Master and the dark side itself.
The engines of his gunship were humming peacefully. The calm before the storm, as it was called. There were at least twenty Clone Troopers in the ship with him. They were relatively quiet, checking their gear and rechecking it. Or were they? They could be conspiring against him at this very moment, plotting to kill him the moment he turned his back on them.
All beings were capable of betrayal in his dark eyes.
"Commander?" He called silently. "A word with you, if you please."
The blue-armored clone made his way through the crowd of soldiers and crouched in front of his superior, who had sat down in a corner, pitch-black robe covering him almost entirely. The Commander seemed alert, left hand on his holstere

The planet Reyl was an unforgiving place, where it's animals had adapted to become some of the toughest force-forsaken creatures on this side of the galaxy; and the 501st was lucky enough to be sent there to drive out the Separatists terrorizing its denizens.
It was mid summer; the sky a sun kissed blue that touched the ground with a velvet caress. The land a cracked, dry, desolate waste that stretched for miles with spots of blue and green which marked the only sources of water for miles. Surrounding them, scorched giant trees jutted out from the baked earth, showing a time past when the planet was rich with life.
Five gunships swooped in high above the dried up canyons and valleys that scratched themselves across the entire planet. The droid army had spread itself in heaps and mounds of ordered groups surrounding the capital city of Shyre; reportedly the last city to survive the initial invasion. The city itself lay encased in a large insulated and shield like dome, which protected i

Patrol. Jix hated it. But Rex had sent him and Sergeant Coric because there was no one else to spare.
"Check for stragglers. We need to be sure all civilians have left the area. Things are going to get nasty soon." Rex had told them.
The first three houses were clearly empty; they didn't even bother getting off their speeder bikes. The road they were traveling on was just a mere path with two ruts separated by a grassy hump in the center. Trees overhung it on both sides, some lower branches managing to slap out at the clone trooper pair as they road along.
"Uhg.. no one is out here.. let's just get back sarge." Jix grumbled, slapping away a branch as they flew by.
"I think the last house is just around this curve," Coric's voice crackled over the comm. "The road ends at this little--"
"Look out!" Jix shouted.
They came out of the blind curve and two kids, a boy and a girl, were standing in the knee deep grass in the road. They made no effort to get out of the way of the oncoming

Alright boys take a break. Ashoka instructed her remaining 37 troopers, as they fumbled around backpacks for water and rations; she caught sight of the captain coming toward her.
We need to keep moving, were behind enemy lines and its our job to get you to the RV point alive Commander.
And its my job to ensure the health and well being of my men and that is you Captain. She retorted and reached out her hand using the force to get a ration bar and handed it to Rex, Now eat.
Rex took the ration bar taking a bite of it as he walked off to go make the rounds on his men, while Ashoka went to go meditate. She found a large rock with a groove just the perfect size to sit in; she then closed her eyes, calming herself and allowing the life around her to become almost touchable. She felt the humid air, the moist greenery scattered everywhere and the running water of the streams; it was so relaxing.

Captured in the haze of the day.
He wore nothing but contempt shrouded in false promises,
Woven in the stolen dreams and whispered hopes of a nation.
In his memories, he saw only blurs,
Faint lines and shadows of past events and steps.
He thought naught of the way he had come,
Only of the miles that stretched before him in vast waves.
If you spread goodwill laced with poison and manipulation,
Love filled with coercion and malignance,
Perhaps only ashes will remain,
Of the pure fires that lie within the world's children.
Bring the darkness to an everyday reality,
Let it fill their minds with hatred and malice,
And their hearts with nothing but stone.
If fury and violence is all that they know,
The sun can finally set on the light,
And the concept of peace.
Let the smoke and the dust extinguish the life,
Of the world.
Let words be but a catalyst for their self destruction,
And their helplessness a fuel for resentment and anger to breed.

"Sir, what's taking General Kenobi so long?"
"There's a war going on Boil. It's not going to pause for us."
"Right.. well.. these tail-heads could at least turn a light on in here or something."
Waxer felt exposed without his helmet. The twi'leks had insisted- more like forced- them to give their helmets to them. Not to mention it was dark. He couldn't see Boil or Cody, but heard them murmuring back and forth.
"And these binders!" Boil complained.
"You complain more than a shiny." Cody scoffed.
"Yeah, well, your not the one pressed into a broken pipe.."
"Your right, I 'm not."
Waxer closed his eyes, it didn't make a real difference anyway. His thoughts trailed over Numa's horrified expression, watching her people take her nerra away.
"Waxer? You still alive out there?" Boil's voice broke Waxer from his memory.
"Just..thinking.." Waxer said quietly.

Without responding, DeJosa glided towards him, folding herself onto his lap. He could feel the curve of her behind through his clothes, and the way she rolled her hips intensified it. The little voice in the back of his head screamed that something was definitely wrong with this whole picture, and begged for Rex to get away. However, the other ninety-nine percent of his brain was busy sending blood to his groin.
He shuddered. "Ma'am I " But DeJosa had already sensed his need.
Rex sat bolt upright in his bed, a cold sweat enveloping him. He looked around his darkened room, his eyes darting frantically to make sure he was completely alone. Satisfied that he was, Rex flopped back down, rubbing his face with both hands.
For the past few days, he'd been having the same nightmare over and over, sometimes twice in the same night. These were increasing his irritability towards DeJosa, and making acting civilly towards each other an impossibility. They'd

She looks at the ceiling, picturing the hallway lights flickering slowly like that in horror movies, then gradually speeding up like those on christmas trees, until they explode and set everything on fire, forcing the beasts to show their true skins, consuming souls and sparing no one but the cold cement walls.
But then, the lights would not flicker, the noises would not fade, the beasts are still howling, and she is still sittin

________Felucia- 1 month before order 66________
Padawan Commander Ahsoka Tano stared out from the gunship as it grazed past the exotic landscape of Felucia. It was a beautiful, but very dangerous planet. And the Republic needed to claim it as theirs once again. Anakin Skywalker, her master of now nearly three years stood off to her left, intently discussing the upcoming battle with his clone captain. Rex's helmeted head bobbed up and down slightly as he talked with Anakin, and he swayed almost gracefully with the movements of the gunship as he held onto the grip above his head.
Ahsoka almost wished that they didn't have to come back to this planet. It dredged up some bad memories. Her last mission here didn't go very well. But that had been nearly two years ago. She had been young, cocky, and foolish. She was seventeen now and well along her way in her Jedi training. Humility, listening to the chain of command, and the ability to discern the dangers of battle where now among su

"Is she dead, Sir?"
"Yes, but I'll make sure it's finished. The rest of you head back and finish mopping up the droids. I've got this."
"Yes, Sir," his men answer in unison and move off to help the rest of their brothers finish the battle.
She hears him make his way down the slope she'd fallen down when he'd shot her, and slowly rolls over to see him crouch over her. She slowly, painfully tries to scoot back from him as he reaches out for her.
"Why..." she croaks, tears beginning to fall from her eyes. "Why,Rex?"
"Orders," he replies simply. His head tilts to the side for a moment, then he answers the transmission. "Yes, she's dead. Putting one final round in her to make sure." He pulls his blaster out and fires into the rocks a few feet from her.

Ahsoka was bored.
She had retired to her quarters some time before, but could not sleep, no matter whether she meditated or relaxed. She wanted something to do, but she didnt have any ideas. Master Kenobi would likely be asleep or attending to some business, and she didnt know what Anakin would be up to at this hour. She likely would just be annoying him if she went to go check, anyway, she decided.
She let out an audible sigh as she lay there on her bed, staring at the ceiling. There wouldnt be any point to her patrolling the hall, as there were already clones assigned to such a duty, and the bridge would likely have just a night crew, or something like that. She wondered what captain Rex might be up to.
Her eyes widened. Rex. Of course. Hed likely still be awake. Ahsoka half-scrambled, half-rolled, off of her b
