Howl wasn't pleased at all with the sight before him. His evil fiancé, or so he called her, had apparently been busy in his bathroom.
"She's getting flowers," came the response, but not from Sophie. On the contrary, Calcifer responded.
Howl poked his blond head out of the bathroom to peer at the fire demon. "I thought today the shop would be closed," Howl started, slightly confused.
Calcifer cackled in response, blue and green sparks flying as result. "You really must pay more attention, she said that the shop was to be closed next week for the wedding." Calcifer boredly said.
Not feeling like bothering Calcifer any longer, Howl went back into his bathroom.
Yes, Sophie had definitely cleaned up.
The bathroom was spotless, and the bottles all organized. He wondered why the sudden cleaning, when Howl realized what he had said at the previous night's supper.
Sophie had been complaining about falling down in the bathroom because of all the gunk on it, to which Howl careles

Sophie felt her mind wake up. An unpleasant feeling for those who wish to remain asleep, but one no person can avoid. She rolled over, lazily opening her eyes to find...nothing. Surprisingly enough, she could remember falling asleep with Howl right next to her...He was probably just down in the bathroom. As always.
Pulling on a fine new dress Howl had just recently bought, she made her way down the stairs, still yawning. "Good morning, Calcifer. Michael."
"Morning Sophie." They said simultaneously, smiling but continuing on with whatever they were doing; Michael working on a spell and Calcifer...doing whatever it was Calcifer did to pass time.
"Is Howl in the bathroom already?" She asked, plucking up a pan and dropping bacon into it. She walked toward Calcifer, who by now had given up on arguing with her and bent down his head.
"No. He's been in and out by now." Michael answered, shielding his face from a small explosion of light. "He l

The rest of the evening was very awkward for poor little Michael. Having found that her assumption was wrong, Sophie wanted to make up for it in any way possible. She let Howl wrap his arms around her waist. She let Howl kiss her when he wanted. She basically let him do anything. And poor Michael, the impressionable child that he is, found this more agonizing than the silence. So, he finally gave up and went upstairs to bed.
"Howl?" Sophie asked, sewing away on the couch. She planned to make Howl a new suit...if he behaved.
"Yes?" He asked, looking at himself in the mirror. He ran his fingers slowly through his red hair, leaving a trail of raven-blue locks behind.
"Why did you go out?" There was a silence, and Sophie glared toward the wizard, picking up her scissors and holding them menacingly at the suit.
"I will tell you when things become more clear." Howl said, moving to the couch to sit next to Sophie and hopefully save his new suit. He

This thing follows you, watching you everywhere you go. It sits next to you on empty sits, hovering along side of you as you walk, looking down at you as you lay down in the shade, pondering how it all came to be. It replaces your smiles with horror each time you felt you could actually see silver linings to the dark clouds storming within you. As you grow, It's still there, haunting you, never getting bored nor tired, with relentless and unblinking eyes observing your life as the misfortunes and agony begin to take a toll on your mentality. It remains silent at the fact that it is invisible to people with wide smiles on their faces, only taunting you more and supplying envy. It keeps following like a shadow that had learned how to have a mind of it's own, able to see, able to take form, able to feel fascination and hunger for attention. It observes day and night as you keep waking up to it. It waits for you to break into tears and fall back to sleep, unable to receive the energy or re

What meaning has life following deserted tracks?
Lost all I have; heeds no one still
my thoughts distraught, my heart 's ill
I wail in seclusion within plain barren lands
praying help shall descend through mysterious hands
But a dream would it be wishing, a foolish one too;
all men are happy and content; their sky depicts blue
Yet my sky growls and cries, for thunder reigns high
but I yearn for this thunder; for this rain to come by
A raindrop with a plop splashes my face
it wipes off the tears that have stained my façade
My whimpers grow silent, the wind hushes up.
Like a slow paced violin, the tears start to drop.
I smile through sky's tears; the hum fills my ears;
the raindrops from heaven descend dissolving my fears
Be no mans grace open, my companion's the sky.
It shares my own sorrows; it too weeps and cries.
My hands rise up high as I thank gain n again,
"Blessed be you for coming for I was sorrowful oh rain!"

After observing all of what is around me, I began to look at myself as something different compared to the certain beings I encountered. The traits, the gifts, the appearances, I wanted them, but the people themselves who have already taken them from me? I despise them. I hated them. So comfortable with their lives, knowing and appreciating how lucky they are. They don't know what goes for who are slaves to fate and treated so poorly, because that is how they were born. That is how fate decides, while fate decides someone else should be so much better. -Don't ask a Hephastus to build you a Transformer. Similarly, don't ask them if their latest project is "more than meets the eye." They've heard it before.
-Never, ever agree to help a Hermes with a prank. They"ll just frame you for it.
-Don't decorate Thalia's pine tree around Christmas. The guardian dragon eats the lights and gets sick. You don't want to be the one to have to clean it up.

The sun shines brightly in the sky, chasing the clouds back over the horizon. Blistering heat scorches the air, especially on a stretch of ocean far from the shore. The blowing wind itself burns slightly, but any wind would be better than none.
Far below the light blue skies, a small group of friends float in a circle on the cool surface of the water. In silence, they watch the clouds passing overhead. One of them points out to a lone cloud leaping from the horizon. "Hey, Zy. Doesn't that one over there look like a shark?"
Zy looks up and brushes her jet-black hair out of her eyes and glances through the blinding sunlight to see what her friend is pointing at. "That...? More like a killer whale , maybe..."
"No." Ashelyn splashes Zy with a giggle. "I agree with Rairi. That does look like a killer whale. If that was a shark, it would be a damn chubby one."

Flashes of metal, the smell of leather
The sound of boots and low chatter
Fill the space like a fluid.
We're in there, among them.
Brushing shoulders with dark strangers
Tasting the late summer night
On hot, expectant tongues.
The dark pulses with an electric surge
And suddenly there is blinding colour
Washing us over, and over
Igniting a thrill inside.
I take your hand and we rush forward
The crowd tightens, we seize the gaps
Weave 'round curved spines and locked lips
As the first wave builds up
And breaks. The crowd jumps, we scream out
Our voices hurt but we still shout
The ground shakes, our ears ring
We've gone hoarse but we still sing
Our bodies ache, we know we're bruised
But it feels good to be abused
Oh, we're a mess, but we don't care
Sweat-stained faces and tangled hair
The encore's done, the crowd takes flight
Don't know where we'll crash tonight
Keep on singing down the street
The cold road bites at our bare feet.

Her bare feet struck the ground, lacking any sort of rhythm. Brush, thorns and brambles caught on her toes and heels, but she refused to stop. However, she remembered to curse them. She mumbled profanities and harshly informed each prick that, if she had the time, she would have ripped it to shreds.
The woods seemed to enclose around her faster and faster with each rugged rise and fall of her chest, trying to trap her and tie her to her fate as a mistreated plaything. Smoky, soot-ridden air swept from the dismal town behind her and pricked at her eyes. The wind picked up her hair, making it whip and slash her face. She wanted to rip it all out, every strand, and throw it into the woods to join the infuriating high-heels she cast aside earlier. However, she would not dare pry her concentration away from the stretch in front of her. She was determined to escape and she would not let herself st

So far, life was good to me. It gave me a nice family, a nice home, and a nice childhood. I was only seven years old, and it was in the middle of December. My three sisters and I would play together when it was snowing really hard, making snowmen and angels all day. We didn't care; we liked it cold. One day, we stayed out for hours, throwing snowballs at each other and giggling as we get hit by one. Mother called for us to have dinner. My hungry and tired sisters ran inside, only gripping that they weren't staying out longer. I just kept playing, watching the snowflakes fall on my sleeves so I could look how beautiful they are up close, as they began to stick to my hair, my face, my eyelashes. My nose was running, my fingers were freezing underneath my red mittens, turning a faint blue.
I trudged through the beloved snow with my now-white grey boots all the way home. I twisted the knob in both directions, but it wouldn't open. I knocked as hard as I could only to have the snow in the r

The witches working candle is one of my favorite tools of Wicca! Maybe because my element is fire. But I think it is a good tool for any witch or Wiccan!
Basically the working candle is a candle that you use every-time you do any-type of energy work. Weather it be meditation, healing, or spells. You can even use it while you are doing everyday chores if it helps you focus.
When you use a working candle while doing energy work it helps you switch from your every day normal mode to your Wicca/witch/spiritual mode! It helps you to focus and connect with the elements/spirit/the god-goddes/or the universe! Whatever you connect with when you do magic or energy work it helps connect and focus your energy!
You can just use a normal pillar candle if you want for a working candle or you can make spiffy it up a little by anointing it and charging it under a full moon. You can even bless it with the elements/god-goddess/spirit or whatever you want!

When I was a boy, I remembered the bright, orange sunlight waking up in the morning with its fiery colors and feeding me warmth everyday. The people were full of joy and energy. Society was like Heaven on Earth... until it changed. As time passed and our leaders have changed, the rules became more strict. The more we resisted... the tighter the shackles became. Now, our society became strict and controlling. People became robots, obeying every command in full synchronization, nothing was done differently. Even the colors of the sky has given in to the clutches of our city. I wanted my life back, but we evolved and we are forced to get used to this order. I am tired of seeing the same cloudy sky and the same people who talk like they are emotionless machines that are controlled by the same switch we call our new society, and I cannot believe I am one of them. We would always dress in black and white: black hair, black eyes and ghostly white faces. We never get to do what we want b

How much more will my joy cost..?

My whole body went numb as I just stand here being cacooned in the darkness. Out of the corner of my eye, He is right there, hiding amongst the trees.
