Birthday Present TG - PictureWhen I woke up, I thought that today would be like any other day: ordinary and boring. I knew it was my birthday, but I still couldn't shake the feeling that nothing exciting would happen to me. I rolled out of bed, took a shower and got dressed for the day. I decided to go out and visit a friend for the day.
I've been friends with her for a while, so she should remember that today is my birthday.
I've confided many secrets into her, and she's confided many with me. One of the major secrets that only her, her mom and I know is that she isn't fully human. She's half esper. An esper is a magical being with extreme powers, and I'll leave it there. We have a lot of fun with her powers, whether that be causing major confusion to someone or simply creating food out of thin air. By the time I reached her house, I was excited about what we would do today. We have this deal where I get to pick what we do on one day and she gets to pick on the next. Yesterday was my turn, so I was psyched

"No, I got that part. WHAT was the cost of losing?"
"Yeah, this is where things get fun. The loser has to switch gender for five years."
"It's fun, and deviates a bit from our usual bet."
"HOW is that fun?"
"It's fun for the winner. After all, what's more amusing than watching your friend be annoyed with you for the next five years?"
"How would we explain the random change of gender?"
"We wouldn't have to. People around us would only remember the 'new form' we have."
"And if we lose, we lose our original self?"
"Oh, no. I consider a non-wanted mental shift the same thing as killing someone. However, the attraction WOULD have to change. After all, me still bei

Girls just avoid him. I don't think he's EVER had a date. I'm the other way around. I'm a loner. I like to be by myself in a room, locked behind closed

"Fine, I'll slow down!"
This was supposed to be a typical day for me and Stan. My best friend was part of a really weird club, who searched for the supernatural. He thought he'd found something, like he does every single stinking day. I'm tired of it, but it's still fun to watch him not find anything. Boy, was I wrong.
"Hey, I found something!"
"No way! It's probably just some rock again, Stan."
"A rock made out of gold and shaped like an oil lamp?"
"What? Let me see!" Sure enough, there was a golden lamp on the ground. Stan gasped, shocked about something. "What's up?"
"I'm not using this. I'm not even picking it up. You do it."
You're the fanatic... I picked up the lamp, and as I did, some of the dust rubbed off. A long trail of smoke came out, and a beautiful woman formed. Stan gasped.

I know what you feel about what I want. I don't think you understand, though. I'm living a lie. I'm not your son. Or, at least, I don't want to be. I wish you could understand who I am inside, see the me that I see. While it may be a sin to do what I want, isn't it also a sin to be constantly living a lie? You're the expert; isn't one of the ten commandments "thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor"? I dare you to find somewhere in the Bible that explicitly states that what I want is wrong; at least, more than what it specifically states about lying. I can't continue this way. You've cornered me into living a life I don't want to. And, in a way, isn't forcing me to be someone I'm not a sin as well? I hope you understand.
