This custom was done for Woosie in exchange for a beautiful G3 Posey wearing Woosie's signature boots.
Hopefully, she'll be posting pictures of her soon.

Woosie wasn't very specific with her request so I had a lot of room for creativity.
She simply asked for bright colors and wings.

Thalia was named after one of the Greek Graces.
The Three Mythological Graces Were Nature Goddesses: Aglaia: (Brilliance); Euphrosyne: (Joy); and Thalia: (Flowering).

I think this is the first time that I've concentrated the main part of the symbol on the pony's back and then came down on both sides equally. She is a "360 degree" custom and can be displayed from any angle.

She was airbrushed with yellow and green gradients. Her eyes and symbols are all hand painted. Her gradients were sealed with Testors Dullcote, her eyes are sealed with Triple Thick gloss and her symbol painting were sealed with Sparkle Mod Podge. At first the symbols were left Matte (as I almost always do) but she seemed too flat so I went back and added a little sparkle and shine.

Her wings were made from acetate, Fantasy Film, Gallery Glass and clear microbeads. They were heated and given a slight curve to keep them from looking so stiff. I also used the clear microbeads on the centers of the flowers.

Her hair is 5 different colors of Dollyhair Saran - Tangerine Orange, Sunshine Yellow, a custom blend of Sunshine Yellow and Seafoam Green, a custom blend of Snow White and Lagoon Blue. I decided to give her longer hair so for this custom I cut the Dollyhair hanks in half rather than my usual thirds.

I'm really happy with how she turned out and loved having her in my possession for as long as I did. It was a little sad the day I packed her for shipping but I know she'll be taken care of.
