As I walked out into the clearing there was a shiver of the thickets near the entrance of the camp where Leopardfur was leading her patrol back from hunting. Loudbelly and his apprentice, Silverpaw padded in with nothing sice this was such a difficult leaf bare. Whiteclaw struggled through the entrance with a plump water-vole, the biggest I'd seen in moons.
With Stonefur and Blackclaw out training their apprentices the camp was quiet. Now with no kits to fill the nursery there was an uneasy silence in the camp. Mistyfoot had probably gone out to patrol the border, so there was no one to really talk to.
Mudfur padded lazily out of the medicine cat den to sun himself as Loudbelly began sharing tongues with Crookedstar. I decided that maybe I should get some fresh air and spend sometime away from the camp for a while, hopefully I'd find some new feathers to put in my nest.
Deadrose's Choice 2 It had been five days since Tigerlily had even took a second glance at Deadrose.Deadrose's Choice 23 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"Come on Tigerlily at least look at me." said Deadrose anxiously. "We can talk this out. Maybe by the river." Knowing that was Tigerlily's favorite spot to be, Deadrose couldn't help but suggest it.
Tigerlily's only response was leading the way out of the camp and to the river.
Once there, Tigerlily lied down in a patch of sunshine and said,"Now talk."
"Well, for starters, I'm sorry that I broke our promise, and I want to make it up to you. I just wanted to tell you because you are my best friend, and I don't like to keep secrets between us."
"Well then, if you wanted to tell me so bad, why didn't you tell me when it first happened?" Tigerlily snapped. She couldn't help but feel betrayed, for one thing her best friend had backed out on their promise, broke the warrior code, and then didn't even bother to tell her

This is my first Gathering and there are so many cats here. My sister, Tawnypaw, and I have only been apprentices for three sunrises. We are still shocked that our mentors, Pebblepelt and Nettleclaw, had decided to let us come. I'm so nervous because I've never been out of Day Clan's territory before. Luckily, I have Tawnypaw with me.
"Hey Pebblepelt," my sister began, "who's that she-cat next to Daisystar"
Pebblepelt glanced up toward our golden-pelted leader until he saw the cat she was describing. "That's Robinstar leader of Night Clan." he said clearly trying to muffle the low growl building in his throat.
The leader of Night Clan had a look of worry in her dark blue and blood red eyes, her black fur standing on en

"Icepool," I began, " has your apprentice, Ivypaw, learned the skills of a warrior? Has she studied the warrior code and understood what it means to every cat?"
With a proud glance at her apprentice, my deputy replied, "Yes Robinstar."
"And I'm satisfied as well with my apprentice, Cougarpaw. He has learned the skills of a warrior and the importance of the warrior code. He is ready to become a warrior." I leaped down from the Stone Ledge and stood in front of the two young felines. Their eyes stretched even wider, if that were possible, as I addressed StarClan.
"I, Robinstar, leader of NightClan, call upon my ancestor to look down on these two apprentices. They have traine

Was that rustling in the undergrowth? Graystripe stalked forward in the long grass. The figure of a cat began to form under the brush. It was a small and plump cat with a white-tipped tail that appeared strangely familiar.
"What gives you the right to trespass on our territory, loner!" demanded the gray tom.
"G-Graystripe is that you? I haven't seen you since you stopped by to find Firestar and the rest ThunderClan." said the black cat.
"Ravenpaw! Oh, Firestar will be so happy to see you! Are you alright? Where's Barely?" Graystripe asked.
"Everything's just great! I would like to rejoin ThunderClan, if that's alright with Firestar." said Ravenpaw.
"I'm positive he will be overjoyed to hear this."
The fern tunnel quivered. Graystripe must be back from hunting, Firestar wanted to talk to him about being on an early border patrol in the morning.
It was Graystripe, but another cat fo
Lostpaw "By naming apprentices, we show that NightClan will survive and remain strong. Lostkit," Robinstar bellowed, "you are now of age to earn your apprentice name." she jumped from where she was perched down to meet the kit padding before her."From this moment on, until he has earned his warrior name, this apprentice will be known as Lostpaw." Flicking her ears towards Darkblaze Robinstar began, "Darkblaze, you are now ready to take on an apprentice. You will be mentor to Lostpaw. Darkblaze, you have shown yourself to be a warrior of great strength and skill. I'm sure you will pass on all you know to this apprentice." The dark tabby-tom padded forward to rest his muzzle on his apprentices head, while Lostpaw licked his shoulder.

"Skyeyes's kits are coming!" I heard Quillkit's tiny squeak from behind the fresh kill pile. I wasn't surprised that Blacktail had kicked him out of the nursery. The nosy kit was loud and very curious and should be apprenticed any day now.
With Robinstar out on a border patrol I figured I'd go and see if Blacktail needed any help. He was getting older and more forgetful lately, I thought that maybe he should consider getting an apprentice.
As I walked into the milky nursery a loud wail came from Skyeyes's mouth. A large tremor shook her entire body. She heaved away and was obviously in a great amount of pain.
"There should be two kits coming." Blacktail whispered half to himself. Two kits! Robinstar should be pleased and the Clan would be blessed.
"Here it comes," said Blacktail. Another large tremor shook through Skyeyes when at last the
Teaching border patrol The forest is quiet, the smell of new-leaf is strong, a slight breeze lingering in the wind. I, Icepool the deputy of Night Clan, am leading Lilypaw, Vinepaw, Cougarpaw, Quillpaw, and Ivypaw to teach them about the borders and border patrolling. Now I know what your thinking, five apprentices and one warrior it's mutiny, that's why I have Lightheart with me.Teaching border patrol3 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"This over here is the border of Day Clan. You can't turn your back on those conniving thieves." I began. Lightheart, trailing behind to mark the borders, chuckled . "It's always important to mark the border often and check for any scent trails." Opening my mouth ever so slightly to taste the air I started teaching again, "Does anyone detect something?"
"Oh, I think I do," a small voice in the back, belonging to Vanillapaw, began,"The air smells of, um, a Sun Clan warrior I, um, think."

"It's... she's not well enough for you to see her." My medicine cat stammered. "What I mean is she might not be ready to..."
"I DON'T CARE!"
"But Robinstar, she isn't able to..."
"Are you contradicting your Clan leader?"
"It sounds to me as though you are, so I'd suggest you'd better let me she her or I will snap your tiny little"
"Robinstar?" a tiny voice sounded in the back of the den, nothing like the strong deputy like I know.
I shoved straight past Blacktail, a look in my eye just challenging him to say something. In the back of the den Icepool lie there almost lifeless. The sharp movements of her eyes were the only things telling me that she was sti

"Are you even listening to me?" Icepool griped clearly agitated.
"Huh... What!" she had said it loud enough with enough spunk that it drove me out of my deep train of thought.
"Are you okay? What's happened to you lately? It's like your shutting everyone out to wander in StarClan knows where."
"No, it's just that I've had a lot to think about recently." I mewed in reply.
"Wait, is this about Cougarpaw?" she said with a slight grin on her face.
"What?!" I half-screamed half-yelped.
