Chihiro sat at small, cluttered desk in her one room apartment in downtown Tokyo. One hand braced her chin as she looked out of the window at the only view she had - a red brick wall across the alley. Her other hand held a wide, felt tipped pen, hovered over a sketch pad but never touched the paper. She'd been working on an illustration when her mind had drifted back to the subject of her art - the Spirit Realm and her time spent there. Kamaji was her current object of fascination. A roughly sketched portrait of him at the bellows marked the page in front of her.
What were her ethereal friends doing now? Was Lin still working at the bath house? She'd wanted so badly to leave and see the rest of the world. Had Bo grown up? He was such a large baby...he might have been meant to stay that way. Was No Face still with Granny? She certainly hoped so. He'd been so sweet and she knew no one at the bathhouse would allow him in. What about Kohaku? Surely Yubaba hadn't harmed h

The station wagon turned into a curving gravel drive that led to a narrow, two story, brick house and then looped back around and out so that her father wouldn't have to back out of the driveway in the mornings. This was a good idea on the designer's part, Chihiro decided, as her father's driving skills were lacking in some areas. In the arc of the loop was a small flower garden filled with colorful flowering plants, complete with a decorative Buddha statue among the foliage. The gapping smile of the happily obese deity elicited a short giggle from the girl.
"Look, honey, we didn't miss the movers after all," her mother's voice broke into her thoughts and she raised her gaze to the end of the driveway where a large yellow and white van was starting to turn in. "Now, you'll have to move the car into the garage so they can pull all the way up to the door. I don't want them scratching my wood furniture. Chihiro, you're going to have to get out of the way. Come inside and g

Her eyes ventured back...but she didn't. She couldn't look back. Not yet.
But-- She would miss him.
As she got into the blue car it was filled with dust, leaves, and undergrowth. Her parents did not understand. It had been such a long period of time since they had been in their car. "Yes, must be. But what a heartless joke," her mother said. But Chihiro just took a deep breath through her nostrils, sighing. "What's wrong, Chihiro?" her father asked in his gruff voice. "Nothing," she replied. "You still can't get over moving?" asked her mother sweetly. "Of course not," she replied, still a bit dazed by the happenings. She gingerly touched the hair-band made by her friends. Granny, No-face....all of them. But especially Haku. "Haku..." she whispered, not audible for one of her parents to hear.
The car came to a halt in front of a blue house with nice white trim. "Isn't it lovely?" asked Chihiro's mother, Yuuko. "It's a fine home," said the father. "What do you th
Spirited Away II Chapter Eight Haku led Chihiro down the stairs past Kamaji's room and down to the dock where Lin had helped Chihiro three months earlier when No Face had raided the bath house. There he took of his sandals and stepped onto the water, appearing to just barely be touching the surface. "Take off your shoes and socks." he replied, "I'll show you."
Chihiro did what he said, placing her shoes and socks next to his sandals then walked to the edge of the dock. Haku extended his hands to her and she took them with a little uncertainty. Her feet, like Haku's, were just barely touching the surface of the water. Chihiro looked down and saw the crystal-like state of the water below her, nothing disturbing the surface. Haku brought her face up to his level to look into her eyes.
"Don't be afraid. Just follow me."
Haku then proceeded to lead Chihiro in a smal

"I'm going to die." she said to herself.
"No. I'm not going to die. I'm going to see my friends again! I have to!"
Chihiro dashed through the field as water began to fill it up quickly. Not wanting to delay any more, she began to swim through the water with precaution, watching for the stairs that will lead up to the Aburaya.
"Hey, Lin!" a woman yelled to her, getting her attention, "I think I see Sen swimming in the river."
"What?!" Lin exclaimed as she ran to the window to see if it was true. She gasped at what she saw. Opening the window, she yelled, "Sen! Get out of there! Sen!"
Chihiro was almost at the stairs, but had a hard time catching her breath due to the waves that the oncoming boat made. She knew that

"What's happening?" she asked, looking up at the now concerned princess.
"It's Chihiro." Sakura answered, getting everyone's attention, "She's left her home and is on her way back here."
"Haku, go and meet her." Hana said, a little urgency in her voice, "I'm sure that she's come back because of you."
"Since she's come back less than a day after she left, I'm assuming that she must have figured out her feelings for you, Haku. I, too, would advise you go and meet her. If you're still unsure, spend some time with her and have her help you understand your own heart."
Haku nodded, understanding her words, then exited the room in a run. Sakura then produced a small crysta

It has been 5 years since I went to the spirit world. Sometimes I think it was just a dream. But it wasnt; I still have my hair band that granny and my friends made.
When we arrived at the new house, all our furniture was there but no movers. Mum and Dad were very confused when they looked at the date on the newspaper saying it was 3yrs past what they thought was the date.
We settled in ok, a new school, a new life and new people. But I miss Haku. Hehe. I guess its Gohaku River now, but I think Ill just stick with Haku.
I have some new friends now, Shinsei, Nami, Tai, Sestu, Tetsu and Yusuke. They are all really nice to me and listened to my stories of the spirit world without laughing and thinking it was stupid. They thought it was fascinating to hear about how I found the bicycle in the side of the water spirit and how I accidentally let in a monster, which ate 3 people, in to the bath house.

"She did it." Mika said to her sister and friend.
"I didn't doubt she would." Kira admitted, "She's got a strong will."
"And a big heart." Akane added, her sister and friend agreeing, "Come on! School's out so let's go meet her at her house!"
With that, the three quickly ran out of the room and to the shoe lockers at the school's entrance, putting on their normal shoes and dashing towards the Ogino residence to see their friend.

After trying to do the powerful spell they decided to just enchant Chihiro's parents.
After making them think she was going on a school camping field trip and casting spells on some school staff not call her home to ask why she wasn't attending school, she was ready to make her grand escape. Chihiro was picked up in the park, Kohaku in his dragon form. "I thought you had lost your dragon form.." she said. "I thought I did too. But that only signified that I was free," he smiled. Chihiro nodded and got upon his back. Before she knew it she was many feet above the world. "We're going to enter the spirit world," he said. "Be careful... I'm going to lower now," Haku said descending in the air. Chihiro nodded and held on tightly to him. She felt the immediate sense of welcome as she entered the other world. Eventually they arrived infront of the bathhouse in which Yubaba owned and operated.
The sight shocked Chihiro. The beautiful bathhouse which was colourful, and

Hours had passed. The scenery had changed around the Baron as quickly as though he had come through a luscious mountain valley into a scorching desert. The lush grass and the soft breeze vanished as they crossed out of the border of the Cat Kingdom, replaced with the brown reeds of once healthy greenery and the dark twigs of dead shrubs. He didnt dwell on the scenery as much though when he saw in the distance the towers of what must surely be his destination.
Baron, what happened here? asked Muta, his worried voice betraying his otherwise nonchalant face.
I dont know Muta. I can only imagine that the power of the Cat Kingdom ends back at the border and that the power over this place is far more malicious.
Somehow malicious didnt quite cover it, thought Muta, watching the skeleton of a shrub disintegrate as they passed by.
The Queen sat in her tall stone throne and smiled wickedly to herself.

"So you came to me?" The little girl nodded and looked at her mother with her big green eyes that resemble her fathers. Her mpther sighed and sat down on the long grass patting the spot next to her. Kokoro giggled and sat next to her mother. Her mom took a deep breath and tied her long brown hair with a purple hair tie like she always did when she tells stories. It had been six years since Chihiro had crossed over to the Spirit World. Six years since she had met Haku, her first love. Six years since she saved the Spirit World. Six long years had passed since she let go of Haku's soft hand and walked back into the human world.
She didn't realize it until she crossed into the human world and couldn't look back; she loved Haku. She loved a Spirit. Even though she was young, her feelings for Haku were there. She didn't know why or how it happened, but it did. She loved the impossible.
She hadn't told anyone about the Spirit World, her friends, or even Haku.

Haru could only sob. She was on her knees with her legs splayed out at her sides behind her. She was propping herself up with only her pawsand they were paws nowand the tears that poured shamelessly from her eyes now stained her tan fur a darker colour.
Get a hold of yourself kid. Where is he? pressed the fat cat.
Hes inside Muta. Hes in there somewhere, she said between sobs. The realization was sinking in and cramping her stomach. The Baron, her Baron, had drunk the witchs potion. He was in her grasp now; and Haru couldnt stand it.
Well hell be out in a little while then. Fashionable like, said Muta, not picking up on Harus distress.

She quickly glanced around the room to see Jane, hand over mouth and unmistakably pale. "Jane, what's wrong?" Before she even finished her sentence, she knew what had happened. Arrietty stood at the same height as Jane, wearing the same simple red dress and brown shoes. She grew dizzy at the sudden growth in height and size, and collapsed onto the floor. Jane, catching up to what had happened and slowly pushing away her sense of shock, rushed over to help Arrietty back on her feet. The borrower struggled to gain control of her now monstrous and cumbersome limbs, and painstakingly clambered onto her feet. She grabbed Jane's arm as she steadied herself, and her breathing was unsteady. Jane helped Arrietty stand up, before as

ILL NEVER FORGET YOU, TOTO, BARON, AND FATSO! yelled Haru as they flew off into the morning sky. She heard Muta a Toto squabble as they flew further away. She turned around and left for the school roof door.

She walked into the kitchen and gasped. There sitting at the table was her daughter now with shorter hair with a cup of tea and reading the newspaper in the other hand.
