Is it fast? Is it slow?
Is it loud? Is it soft?
Speed depends on one's situation

Typing through to you
It's useless, I can't spill
The emotions from
My pathetic heart
Into and onto the keyboard.
I can't feel you
Through the cyberspace that connects us.
I can't touch you
Through this wireless connection
And I want to, so bad
Cause you are my love.
Something so cruel.
Tempting and punishing
For leaving you.
Was it me?
Or was it you?
Who was it that left first?
Who lost signal?
Who got disconnected?
Can I download your feelings into my heart?
Can I upload my sorrow for you to see
How hopeless it is for us to touch?
It's useless, this Internet Connection
No real connection at all
Just cyber space in between us.
It hurts for me to say this
But you're not on anymore
I guess this is where, we sign off.

THE REAL MENACE OF THE PHANTOM MENACE
It is a time of great upheaval. Movie goers and young people are in dispute over which is better, George Lucas' classic original Star Wars trilogy made from 1977-1983 or his prequels made from 1999-2005.
Hoping to resolve the matter, freelance Washington ciniphile and critic Alec attempted to review the most debated and least liked of the Star Wars saga, "Episode I The Phantom Menace."
So far, Alec's attempts to review the film have been met with him nitpicking and criticizing the film's unsubtle political agenda, lack of logical thinking and the uselessness of Jar-Jar Binks and his attempts at comedy. But Alec is taking off the gloves and finally going to finish the review, regardless of what his peers or the fans think
The next morning, our four characters who we have been stuck with for almost an hour and

War! What is it good for? Absolutely nothing. Okay, that was a joke, but what isn't a joke is Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.
Alec's quest to understand why this is one of the most despised and defended of movies has left him exhausted, frustrated and perplexed how anyone could possibly defend this movie.
Thankfully, Alec's suffering is nearly at an end as he nears the movie's climax, starting with Amidala's idiotic decision to return to Naboo and Qui-Gon explaining the purpose of Midi-chloriants. Praying that by the end of this review, he can finally be free and move onto reviewing actual bad movies; like "Birdemic" or "Battlefield Earth"...
"Star Wars Episode 1 The Phantom Menace" is one of the most frustrating movies I've ever had to review!
But if you've been reading the last 12 pages
Unusual Company Ch. 1The number of boots that traveled down the halls of the Resolute every day numbered in the thousands, but the pair traveling towards the bridge had a much lighter step. Waiting outside the door, Rex knew the footsteps didn't sound like any of his brothers. There was no weight to them, nothing to keep them firmly planted where they needed to be. Instead these were quick and sprightly, hardly touching the floor before they moved again.Unusual Company Ch. 11 year ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

Rex couldn't help but pull the corners of his mouth up slightly, since he couldn't keep a plain expression after her friendly greeting without seeming disinterested or rigid. Her handshake was solid and outgoing. It conveyed genuine interest and wasn't j

Qui Gon Jinn was an ambassador of the Galactic Republic who was sent to settle a dispute of the Trade Federation, the main provider of the republic's army of battle droids, who was planning to leave the Republic forming their own Confederacy of Independent Systems. The negotiations failed and Qui Gon was able to intercept the Trade Federation's conspiracy against the Republic, by invading the middle rim system, starting off with Naboo to sabatoge the Republic's trade routes to the outer rims. On his escape and after crash landing on Tatooine, Qui Gon was captured and enslaved by Jawa. He was then sold a local called Watto. There he met Anakin Skywalker. He finally revealed to be a Jedi after Sith Probes were sent attacking them. Watto offered them a transport but Qui Gon was captured, Anakin was able to escape with C3PO and R2D2 who was carrying the plans. Anakin was guided by Qui Gon through the Force to find his apprentice, Obi Wan Kenobi, who was there to aid local law enforcements

THE STAR WARS FANBASE STRIKES BACK
It is a dark time for Alec. Although many people agreed that "Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace" was poorly written, badly directed and had issues with pacing, Alec made the mistake to make rude and thoughtless remarks towards fellow Swedish Critic, Kurvos, a mistake that forced Alec to hide from the die-hard Star Wars fans who demanded his blood.
Evading the blind-sighted yet dreaded Star Wars Fanbase; Alec re-established his credentials and managed to get back into good graces with his small yet growing fans through his Burning Through Celluloid film analysis reviews, his Cult Corner comedic reviews and even celebrated his 3 year criticizing anniversary by reviewing "Transformers: Dark of the Moon."
Regardless of Alec's ciniphile ways, the Star Wars Fanbase, obsessed with bringing Alec to justice for the crime of expressing his opinion, dispatched

WHAT EXACTLY WAS THE CAUSE OF ALL THIS SH*T? I FORGET…
Alec has come to a problematic obstacle, the court has refused a plea bargain and the evidence mounted against Alec could potentially ruin him as well as devastate all online criticizing in general.
Despite assistance from his fellow critics in the criticizing community, Alec is alone and his lawyer was unable to find evidence to defend his case of free speech to criticize Star Wars, while ironically criticizing "Attack of the Clones."
Regardless, this hasn't hindered's Alec's quest to analyze the second Star Wars prequel, where he has found a split film with two shorelines, one, while flawed, is far more interesting, the other, much more flawed and really boring with moronic characters. If Alec is lucky, he may have a chance to finish his review and get himself acquitted…

Oh look, another Star Wars related critique. If you're a fan, just leave and go read something else.
No? You're sure? Well okay then.
Star Wars isn't perfect. It's good sci-fi fun, just like how "Raiders of the Lost Ark" was just an adventure movie to give you the feeling of watching an old adventure serial from the old days, "Star Wars" was originally intended to be a light-hearted adventure that throws the audience into a scenario and ends on a cliffhanger for the possibility of the next serial episode to come next week in the theater.
Anybody whose read my 20+ pages for "The Phantom Menace" and "Attack of the Clones" probably know I prefer the original trilogy more than the prequels. The originals just hold up better for me into adulthood for the emotional resonance and hard work put into the set designers and spe

Pairing: General Grievous/Sakajin (OC)
Being a mechanic for the CIS is tough, especially when you're surrounded by nothing but droids every day of your life. Of course, Sakajin Takio would have chosen to be just a mechanic again if she had the option. Because being the apprentice of General Grievous is hard, especially when you're living in the shadow and pain of the choices your ex-Jedi mother had made long ago.
Sakajin reached into her brown burlap sack beside her, searching for the tool she required. Her hand was incautious in its rummaging through nuts, bolts, tools and various kinds of tape, but a flash of sharp pain cutting across her hand caused the girl to gasp and pull her hand back nearly instantly. She winced as she inspected her hand, groaning when she realized what damage had been done out of simple clumsiness.
It was a long, painful gash across her palm, nothing deep, though it was already well

Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace Nostalgiaview Part 1
In 1977, a young rebellious filmmaker by the name of George Lucas, already recognized at the time for films like "THX 1138" and "American Graffiti" created a science fiction epic that would forever change the possibilities of special effects as well as science-fiction in general. That film was "Star Wars" and for many critics and ciniphiles alike, there's no denying it's impact left a huge influence in children and student filmmakers for years. As a film student myself, I made a student film that utilized science-fiction aspects derived from Star Wars (as well as using some soundtracks for it >> but you get my point. "Star Wars" is THE film from our childhoods. The films that were simple enough for kids to follow and root for but also complex enough for adults to connect to. When we all grew up, we understood what the adults dug out of it and so do we as we can appreciate the special effec

WHAT'S LOVE GOT TO DO WITH IT?
Despite nobody really asking for it, Alec has returned to Star Wars to criticize Episode II: Attack of the Clones, despite his own nostalgic connections with the movie from his childhood.
Alec's analysis has shown him that, while it actually has a main character with semi-clearer character motivations, the film is boggled by irrational logic and gaping plotholes that one could drive an AT-AT Walker through.
However, Alec did not expect to be sued by the Star Wars Fanbase for emotional distress and, unless he can find a way to prove the jury his innocence, the world of online criticism will die as we know it…
Sadly, we return to the part of the story that I could give a rat's ass about, Anakin and Padme's growing "romance." That transport ship they were supposed to be hiding aboard incognito, lands on Naboo, which lead

Don't you know
You hold her heart?

She lives her life in denial
You treat her like shit, and she loves you so much
She bleeds only to make you smile
Can't you see
The pain she's in?
Your heart is all
She wants to win
And for you, she keeps on trying
And believing all your lies
Don't you know that she is dying?
Can't you see it in her eyes?
She falls just to make you laugh
She breaks just to make you love her
She'd do anything to be with you
But you're never even thinking of her
You taught her exactly
How to be
You taught her how
To make you happy
But she'll never be good enough
No matter how hard she's tries
And she'll live for you, you'll own her soul
until the day she dies

Year of the Rat
1912, 1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996:
People born in the Year of the Rat are known for their charm and attraction for the opposite gender. They work hard to achieve their goals, acquire things, and are likely to be perfectionists. Rats are usually considered aggressive, ambitious, suspicious, and power-hungry, honest, generous, quick to anger and prone to spend freely. People born under the sign of Rat are imaginative, charming, and generous to the one they love. However, they have a tendency to be hot-tempered and overly critical. Their ambitions are big, and they are usually very successful.

People born in the Year of the Cow are patient, speak little, and inspire confidence in others. They tend, however, to be far out, and unfair, and they anger easily. They have fierce tempers and although they speak little, when they do they are quite eloquent. Cows are mentally and physically alert. Gene

There is this place
Beyond my fears,
Beyond the blood,
And all the tears
I see it only
In my dreams
But it's more real
Than it seems
A place where I don't
Cry or scream
Where all my thoughts
Are clear and clean
The sun gives light,
The sky is blue
No more memories
Left of you
The air smells sweet
And not like vomit
My skin is new,
No more scars on it
The illussions are gone
And everything's real
I finally know
What it's like to feel
Than this pain
The voices are gone,
I feel sane
I can laugh and be myself
I don't have to fake a smile
I can say those words "I'm happy"
And living all seems worth the while
A place where I don't have to hear
"You'll never get you're life in gear
You'll never be normal, you're nowhere near
You'll always live in pain and fear"
This is the only place
I wish to be
The only place
I can be free
Free from the sickness
That is me
And one day I'll find this place,
Someday I'll be
...A different me

Yoko Miyake was just an ordinary girl living in Tokyo's Shinjuku district. Already 18 years old, she was living the life of an ordinary Japanese schoolgirl, which included getting ready to enter into the city's fast-paced society. Yoko was a bright girl, who usually scored in the upper 20% of her class. She was always polite and courteous, and most of the neighbors would comment on what a nice girl she was.
But being nice didn't exactly win you marks around your schoolmates. Around the school, Yoko would usually hear others talking about her using the phrase hira. Used by the boys, it meant 'flat.' That's because of all the girls in the district's private school, she was the most underdeveloped 18-year-old in school. While the other girls had filled out their school uniforms respectively, Yoko's sailor-suit barely registered her feminine at
