From our latest workshop in the Alps. this view was done with 200 mm .. and slightly de saturated , with warm white balance .. giving the impression of an ominous gate towards another world . I've croped it Square and slightly darkened the scene.
Color version , with the 'Lee big stopper' filter ( ND1000 ) is a bit odd .. too cold , too bright blues .. I think .. Now I've darkened the scene and removed saturation . I prefer this version ..

This shows the devil's peaks " aiguilles du diable " just beside the "mont blanc" in Chamonix .. taken at evening with a big ND filter to reach 30 seconds on the scene ... creation the movement on the fast-moving clouds ... embracing the mountains.
