After looking through my DVDs I found the original image on the back of Season 10. But I thought to myself that it would be nice if there was a bigger version, and knowing me, here we are. This pic took longer than usual, but on top of that, Marge, Lisa and Maggie's hair can be tricky to do digitally, especially compared to how long it takes a sketch. Maybe that's why I don't draw them so much. Added a little texture in for that old movie poster feel but still wanted it to have some shine to it.
Well, enjoy.

Blegh, some parts of this I like, some parts I don't.
Decided to post anyway. One of the posters from the crossover crisis. Tried to do it in a different style. I use the slightly thicker lines (it really doesn't seem like only two brush sizes difference) every so often but I never seem to get it right. I think I'm better off sticking to using thinner lines for all my stuff from now on. I promise my next one will be better.

"This family has had its differences and we've squabbled, but we've never had knife fights before, and I blame this house"

The very first segment from the very first Treehouse of Horror.

Personally, I think dancing is one of the best things to show how dynamic the characters can be. And I am trying to vary the poses I use from drawing to drawing.
Of course, Marge and Homer would be the best choice for a Simpsons picture. Having just looked through my gallery again, I noticed I tend to draw them a lot more than most other characters. A bit odd 'cause it doesn't really seem that way.

I figured this would be a great scene from a classic episode (Cape Feare) to draw for the start of this month. Hopefully, I will have enough time to continue with the Treehouse of Horror images. Though, I don't think it would be too worrying if some were posted after October.

A lovely scene from The Man In The Blue Flannel Pants.
One which I thought was great enough to try out this style on. The first time I've done it on any of my Simpsons pics.
