I haven't worked on this in so Goddang long, and I don't think I'll find the time to work on it again any time soon, so here y'all go. Five scenes done out of a planned 10-15. Still enjoyable. ^^
Let me know what you think.
-Turn quality to 'medium' or 'low' (right click -> quality) if it runs crappity.
-You might not get some of the jokes. It's based off of the computer game 'Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.'
Flash MX 2004/Flash 8/Photoshop CS2/MS Paint
Don't steal it, please. I'll have to destroy you.
'It's Rainin' Men' - Martha Wash and Ru Paul
'Renegades of Funk' - Rage Against the Machine
'Action' - Return to Castle Wolfenstein
'The Wicked End' - Avenged Sevenfold
because a lot of time and effort goes into making these i'm going to ask you to follow a few simple rules 1. Please do NOT fave without leaving a comment first. 2. Please do NOT actually use these designs for your own characters, this is just for fun and not meant to be used as a real character creator. 3. Please do NOT post screen-shots of creations without giving me credit and linking back either here or to my page.
This was an assignment I had to do for TAFE. Seeing as how I only started learning how to use flash this year, and this animation was my second assignment, I was quite proud of myself on how it turned out.
Basically the assignment had to be a character that walked and jumped smoothly and had to run for at least 30 seconds. Mine is about 1 minute, not very long at all but covers all the set criteria.
The story starts out as a baby dragon that wants to fly and tries to but fails, falling because his little wings can't support him. The river that you see him look at is what he luckily falls into and meets a hungry crocodile. Afraid, he swims for his life. He runs out of the water and comes across a a cliff edge. A completely randomn (but neccessary for the assignment coz I needed a shape tween) black ball falls out of the sky and morphs into a corw that flies off. The baby dragon then jumps over the cliff to the other side.
Not much of a story, but hey, I passed and that's all I wanted.
This flash doesn't have a preloader so it may take a while to load. It's only 1MB so it shouldn't take too long. I don't know how to make the preloaders but when I do I will stick one on this animation. Sorry.
C: Ok, so comic number 128 is a crazy new experiment. If you don't understand it, which I'm sure many of you may not, you may want to check out ytmnd at [link]. And then specifically, [link]. It's kind of a strange internet phenomenon, and I likes it, so this is my tribute. Don't expect many more comics like this, it's pretty much just a one time thing. Hope at least some of you recognize/enjoy it!
A: Yeahhhhh...don't really like this one all too much, I don't think the original is funny either, not even a huge fan of ytmnd on the whole. So I feel obligated to provide you with some cool internet things to link to as my way of saying sorry.
1) If ya haven't seen these Zelda Retrospectives, you can find the first here [link] they are quite well done and make you remember why you love the Zelda series. There are 4 so far, you can find 'em all on youtube.
2) For a good, although a bit biased, Nintendo news site, check out Infendo [link]
3) For a good PS3 news site head over to PS3 land [link]
4) For a good nerd blog and podcast, check out Extra Life [link]
5) And finally, for a good, funny, YTMND called Cosby Bebop head here, it's my favorite. [link]
C: Although Auker has good taste in retrospectives and news sites, he's quite picky about his humor. QUITE picky.
A: I'm sorry, if I only want to bring our fans the best of humor. That apparently doesn't matter to my comrade. Also, happy Veterans' day!
C: If all the different types of humor were different countries and cultures, Auker would be considered very ETHNOCENTRIC about them. That's the word of the day.
A: Oh calling me a humor racist, eh? I won't resort to cheap, silly name-calling.
C: Oh, so you underhandedly call me a cheap, silly name-caller?
