Bart groaned, head flopping down onto the desk as Tim tried to reposition the pencil in his hand. It wasn't his fault he'd never had to write with one of these things before - most writing back in his own century had been done with computers. He had been taught the basics of 21st-Century life, but with his short attention span, he'd stopped listening to Dox in a matter of seconds.
It had been embarrassing, to say the least, when he'd had to use one of these 'pencils' in school. Bart had managed to glance discreetly (discreetly for a five-year-old speedster, at least) over at Preston's paper, and had at least worked out that the end of the stick made marks on the sheet, and these marks made words.
