This was a commission. I was sent the fabric to work with, as well as a rough design. The bows are on pin backs so they can be repositioned. I has a half elastic waist, waist ties in back and a side zipper.

Kind of a poor picture of it, the ruffle is even, it was just scrunched up funny in the shot.

I unfortunately ran out of grey felt, so I could only make two robot cats, no bunnies or bears. But look how good they turned out!

I made this necklace to celebrate the legends and tales of the Leprechaun, anticipating a little bit of St Patricks day next month.

The Luck of the Leprechaun is made from a handcrafted porcelain face stone, set with natural brass filigree from Vintaj findings. It also contains ceramic charms molded from vintage buttons in the shape of shamocks and good luck charms. The rest of the brass is also from Vintaj and the ribbon is hand dyed silk satin.

I made all the porcelain parts...you can find them on my website at Earthenwood Studio [link]

Read about some of the steps I used to create the filigree stone wrap on my blog here: [link]

This is an over-sized pincushion, made from fleece, cotton fabric and polyfil.

I appliqued the elephant, and decorated the edge of the pincushion with eyelet lace and teeny tiny hand made yo-yos (about dime sized) and gave the elephant ears from the same cute print.

This pendant has a fantastic piece of fossil coral from Indonesia. The fossil looks like budding flowers all pressed against each other. I used gold filled wire to wrap the stone. Gold filled wire is made by wrapping a sheet of gold around a brass core - the gold is thick enough that it won't rub off the way gold plating does.

I tried a more open embellishment, so the swoops on the left side of the pendant aren't pressed flat against the stone.

A "Crab Fire Agate" teardrop sits in a woven oxidized copper frame, with swirls dancing across it's face, and accented with sterling silver beads.

Pendant is approximately 1 1/4" (31mm) wide and 2 1/4" (56mm) long.
