Does God want your Religion?Does God want or respect Religion? The answer is NO. God wants a RELATIONSHIP with His people. Don't believe me? Well let's consider the Word of God.
Nobody followed the law like the Pharisees, they were diligent in their reading, they kept up the traditions, they seemed like perfect men and women. However, on the inside it was different. Here is what the Bible says:
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
They were very religious people, but they didn't even see God when He walked right pass them! They wanted to kill Him because He knocked them down off of their high horse.
God wants a relationship.
Just because you are a "Christian" does NOT mean you have a free ticket into Heaven. What will keep you out is that relationship. Don't believe me? Let's go back to the Word:
Not every one that saith unto me, Lor

A True Christian does not calls Christianity a religion, but a relationship with God through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. (John 15:14-15, Hebrews 13:5, John 10:27-28, Proverbs 17:17, Job 5:19, Psalm 37:39)
A True Christian does not do good deeds so that he/she can get to heaven (for through Jesus Christ, he has a place in heaven), but so that you can take care of you fellow man and to love one another. (Romans 3:9-31, John 15:17, Luke 10:25-37, Ephesians 2:8-10)
A True Christian does not condemn others for their sins for God did not sent his son to the world to condemn it, but to save it through him. (John 3:17, Luke 6:37, 1 Peter 2:22)
A True Christian sings, dances, and praises God not so that he/she can impress other people or God, but because he/she loves God and his son. (Matthew 22:37-39)
A True Christian speaks for those who can't speak for themselves. (Proverbs 31:8-9)
A True Christian does not hate people, but sins. For those
The cost of calling God friendMany people today profess that God is their friend. But do they really consider Him a friend? God can be your best friend, the Bible says He sticks closer than a brother. But many people today don't know God on the personal level, they only seem to go to Him when they need something. How would you feel if one of your friends only talked to you when they needed something? You should not just pray when you are desperate, you should walk with Him daily. The cost of calling God friend4 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
In order to call God friend, you must know Him. You must know His likes and dislikes. Now how can you get to know what the Most High God likes and what He doesn't? You read His word!
Once you get to know God on a personal level, there is nothing you can't do! God can give you the power to move mountains, He'll give you power to heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out devils. Anything you can think of. God actually challenged me while I was praying one day. He said:
"Tell me the most ridiculous, impossible, irrational thing you can think of,

God is still hereThere was a miracle that happened at church today. It was so fascinating and powerful that I didn't know what to do with myself.God is still here4 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
There is a family from Africa that attend my church, and their youngest son (about 6 years old) was born with cerebral palsy. Cerebral palsy is a general term used to diagnose brain malfunctions caused at birth. This young boy acquired it the same way my 12 year old niece got it. They both went through the birth canal when their mother had a streptococcal infection. The infection went to their brains and they became infected with streptococcal meningitis, which caused their brains to swell.
Back to the African boy...
The doctors said that he would just be a burden on his parents, that he would never walk or talk or play at all. The parents were discouraged but knew that God had done it for a reason. So they brought the child to church in the hopes of him getting healed.
You could just feel the faith radiating from them when they walked into church, and their

Even after you lost that painful-to-watch battle you wanted to go even further. You tried to make his "other" creations rebel! To join you in your ever lasting torture of HELL! Then you went even further to have people worship you.
You're sick, did you know that!? You've had families ripped apart! You had kids get abused! You had people have unnecessary hate running through 60% of the world's population! Who do you think you are?!
You're a coward! You wait until your victim is at their weakest point to actually do something. Not once have you attacked anybody who's at their strongest. You know why? Because you're weak! You're so strong that yo
A True HeroA Hero is not one who has fame, glory, and every woman chasing after him...A True Hero4 years ago in Emotional More Like This
A True Hero does what is right, no matter the obstacles, and not even thinking about what's in it for him.
Being a Hero is doing what everyone thinks to be impossible and proving them wrong for the right cause.
A Hero doesn't care for what he will get in return, just to see a good outcome from what he has done for the world.
Jesus Christ is a True Hero.
He died for us.
And he didn't have to....
He chose to....
And he didn't do it to gain fame and glory, He did it for us...
So we can be saved from Hell.
And it's hard for you to tell him how much you love him?
Come on, I know he doesn't ask for much....
After being brutally tortured, made fun of, spat on, and killed....
All he asks is for you to accept him into your life and love him.
Really, is that too hard for you to do?
God Bless you.

Wendina always wore a silver crucifix around her neck with a sapphire blue diamond in the middle. This alone subjected her to more name-calling and torture at school. Now she was known as "one of those insane preachers" that were seen along the road of the school.
Wendina eventually got tired of the name calling, the excessive bullying, and loneliness. So she talked to her best friend every night. Her best friend would hold her, kiss her, and tell her she was beautiful. Her best friend would listen to her, cry with her, and offer her advice. Her best friend promised her that he would never leave her, no matter what happened.
This gave Wendina strength to face every new day.
The more Wendina went to school, the bullying and name-calling increased randomly. Wendina tried her very best to ignore this, but she was sobbing violently in her heart.

With what reason?, because I say that I love Jesus?
What is it that they are benefitting from all this?
Really, I laugh at all this because I know I'm right in Christ.
See, There wouldn't be any atheists and people going out of their way to bring me down if God didn't exist.
Why is it that they hate me so much, just because I decided to stand up and say: I LOVE JESUS!!!!!
That's proof that the Devil's real, as well as God.
If God weren't real, then no one wouldn't even bother ridiculing Christians and would just leave us be.
I mean, I myself will show the world what I believe in, with no shame in doing so, and just move on if no one wants to hear it.
See, you don't have to like me, or even what I say.

Aphorism: Prayer as RevelationPrayer is not just communication with God, it is also a sort of self-reflectiona mirror that allows us to see, in a manner of speaking, the one who speaks to God. Between God and us lie our inmost thoughts. We need to reflect on our obsessions, our desires, and our struggles. Sometimes our zeal and our fervor become a greater spiritual poison than outside influences. Though prayer often times allows us to see enemies around us, we may be surprised to see the enemies withinif we listen to Godif we listen to ourselves.Aphorism: Prayer as Revelation3 years ago in Philosophical More Like This

believe our God exists.
You cannot stay in a state of lacking belief in God. After all, my dog doesn't believe in God, either, but she's not an atheist. To state that you simply don't believe is not sufficient. There must be a reason. On a similar note, I don't believe "blind faith" is sufficient either. I don't just "believe" in God, I have reasons for my beliefs. Either you have accepted the idea of God, or you have rejected it.
So what is the cause for your rejection? What is the basis that you found this view on? When put under speculation, is it adequate? Is it flawed? Is it subjective? This first section of my "essay" deals with reasons you might have for rejecting that our God exists, and refuting them.
I believe there is no God because . . .
1. There's no proof.
That statement is subjective. I'm probably going to use this word a lot, so here's a quick definition: subjective means biased or one-s

When my eyes threaten to close
I'll squeeze them tighter
When I cry

Questioning God's KindnessA lot of people out there always question God's kindness. I've gathered popular questions and broke down for people to understand clearly.Questioning God's Kindness5 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
If God is so kind, then why do bad things happen to good people?
Because God doesn't pick and choose who gets good things and who gets bad things. He reigns on the just as he does the unjust. Now the difference between the just and the unjust is that the just grow stronger in Christ for every bad thing that happens to them. How you may be asking. Well, simple. We call upon the Lord to help us and guide. We soon get through the trial, thus, grow stronger in the Lord. So in lemans terms, the just gets benefits for a bad season.
If God is so kind, then why did he create Hell?
I just love answering this question. Hell was first created for Lucifer and his angels when they sinned in Heaven. That is another topic to talk about.
If God is so kind, then why does he send people to Hell?
Another question I love answering. You really believe God enjoys this? N
I'd Rather Be Loving(7/28/2011)I'd Rather Be Loving4 years ago in Philosophical More Like This
If you had to choose, would you rather be good-looking or intelligent?
I thought about it for a moment, and my answer is this:
I'd rather be loving.
If someone was only admired for looking good, then what would that someone be without good-looks? Would that really make a person ugly? Looks fade, they are not forever. Can that someone be truly satisfied? After all, if good looks were all that people cared about, then that someone would not be truly cherished for anything else about them. Would anybody care about anything else about that someone if all they needed was good looks? Would there really be anything else left? If everyone was "good-looking", then it would have to meet everyone's standards. Yet we are so diverse and different from one-another, and not everyone will have the exact same standards. What then defines beauty? Beauty is a perception. What is left without "good looks"? What does
