Handstand Kendra was back in her bed, back to normal and a little relieved. The experience she just had with three legs and a weird looking foot was a fun one, to say the least, but she was happier this way and used to her original self. She started of other things she could try out: three toes on each foot; one leg; a centaur type body. All of these ideas filled her head and she smiled at some of the things she imagined. Then, a random thought shoved itself in front of everything else. She remembered one of her friends doing a handstand and how she tried doing that, but ended up falling as soon as she got her feet into the air. She had that ability to do it in a pool, but anything above water was out of her bounds. That's when started thinking about her hands being replaced with feet so she could do a handstand and even stay like that, since she would have the balance to hold her with feet.Handstand7 months ago in Short Stories More Like This

A cute girl was sitting on a bus, her beach-bag on the seat beside her. Suddenly the bag was displaced by a young man appearing out of nowhere.
“Hey, Marcy, that wasn’t fair,” the restored guy complained. “I barely even added a cup that time.”
Marcy giggled at her boyfriend. “Who said anything about fair, Jerry? I wanted to go to the beach, and you didn’t. So you weren’t a bra this time, you were my bikini.”
Jerry tilted his head to one side, considering that. “It did feel different. And it explains how only part of me got wet.”
“Wanna go to the beach tomorrow?”
“If I say no, will I get stuck as your swimsuit again?”
Marcy shrugged. “You place your bets and you take your chances.”
Jerry laughed, shaking his head. “So that’s a yes, then. Well, if I’m going to be your swimsuit, you’re getting Baywatch-grade flotation devices.

Archans are a multiple-limb humanoid life form that inhabits the planet of Gallos in the Alpha Quadrant. First contact occurred in 2310 by the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-B. Their species were warp capable due to earlier contact with the Breen that had come to their planet to mine Topaline in 2378. The Breen were looked upon as slavers, forcing the technology weakened Archans to provide labor, and materials for their refrigeration units. It wasn't until 2392 a global revolution would force the Breen to leave Gallos. The revolution left much of the Breen technology in their hands, and the Archans who were very intelligent and mechanically dexterous used the technology to re-build their world, and build defenses from other invading species. The Breen incident left the planet xenophobic as the first contact was a bit hazardous with many trust issues that impeded their acceptance. It wasn't until 2344 that they formerly were recognized by the United Federation of Planets, and 2362 became a mem

“A noiseless, patient spider,
I mark’d, where, on a little promontory, it stood, isolated;
Mark’d how, to explore the vacant, vast surrounding,
It launch’d forth filament, filament, filament, out of itself;
Ever unreeling them—ever tirelessly speeding them.
And you, O my Soul, where you stand,
Surrounded, surrounded, in measureless oceans of space,
Ceaselessly musing, venturing, throwing,—seeking the spheres, to connect them;
Till the bridge you will need, be form’d—till the ductile anchor hold;
Till the gossamer thread you fling, catch somewhere, O my Soul.”
I smiled to myself as I read the beautiful poem by Walt Whitman. I simply loved poetry…I would write it myself, but then feel downcast when I read the work of an even better poet. I flipped through the pages to find another poem by Whitman while my other hand reached out for a pen and paper. I took a swig of my tea and sighed, leaning back against the wall of the l

Jerry shrugged. “You know you have more fun with a few curves. And I do, too.” He was just as much a beanpole as his girlfriend, and his straight dark hair hung almost to his shoulders, making him look almost as female as her. “Besides, you know the deal. Mike sighed inwardly. Ever since Meghan had suggested they meet at the Brass Duckling, he’d known this question was coming. Feet-hands were definitely fun, but other than walking around upside down, it was hard to have feet for hands. But, what if she could have four? The thought of extra arms definitely entered her mind, but she didn't want to have that kind of responsibility, nor the looks, right now. She looked towards her feet, letting her mind drift to the inevitable: hand-feet. She thought of a monkey and its versatile feet. Being able to have that kind of maneuverability, the skill, and more importantly, another set of hands.
So, she set her mind to the one thing she just had to try. Kendra focused on her feet, already beginning to feel the magic gently caress her feet. She wiggled her toes before scrunching them, curling them as she let the magic take over her feet to begin her change. It started with the uncomfortable feeling and sight of watching he

Everyone has one of those days when you wish you could just do it all over. One morning, Amiko Ichimoto, woke up very sleepily, rubbing the sleep from her eyes before opening them to stare up the ceiling. She then turns her gaze towards her still-sleeping sister, Emiko, as she slowly waved her hand in front of her face before bringing it to her nose. She slowly opened her eyes and started rubbing them, with her sister literally lending her a hand. The two girls gave out long, breathy yawns as they got up from bed and let their blanket roll off their shared body. From anyone's first impression, they would think they were looking at a Japanese cat-girl in her late teens with two heads on her shoulders. But the two are actually conjoined twins of the dicephalus type, sharing one body below the necks with a medium size-breasted torso and a long, dark brown tail that both have control over. Amiko controls the right half of their body while Emi

She would spend her day sitting in an easy chair with a mess of tubes that seemed to stick out of her neck pumping fake blood into a weird-looking machine nearby. She wore a cheesy sixties-era pink gabardine suit and, when the magician tapped her on her shoulder, she would pull off her white satin gloves or remove a patent-leather pump and adjust her stockings—intricate little motions that only a real human being could do convincingly. I reached over and picked up my poetry book in one hand and the complete works of Shakespeare in another while my pen hand was still hovering over the page.
