Love,
Such a simple little word,
four letters, one syllable.
Said daily, but never truly noticed.
But is it more?
More than just sounds said out of force of habit?
Calls of 'love you!' echoing throughout the house as you say goodnight,
Said simply because you've said it all your life.
But is there more to it?
More than the simple little word,
More than the sounds and letters,
Repeated so often with so little thought?
What is love, really?
Is it, as in the dictionary, an
"Intense feeling of emotional attachment
And/or physical attraction
To a person or object"?
No… that doesn't seem right.
Is it, perhaps, the lighthead
