The World Is... UnfairSo I'm here to nag a little, but for once not about my life, but for others. The World Is... Unfair3 years ago in Personal More Like This
Let's talk about the unfairness of the world (*cough* media *cough*), there's a bombing in Boston.
It's horrible, no one can deny this. A truly tragic event. 3 people killed and around 150 injured.
So let's check: It's all over the news and chances are that it will be for at least two weeks, people pray for them day and night (which they should) and call it heart-breaking and tragic.
It truly is.
But now let's go to the other side of the world, middle east, countries called India, Pakistan and Iran, which some People (*cough* some Americans on Yahoo *cough*) proudly call the citizens of the last one "cockroaches of the human race", I've personally seen it. It hurts, especially when they threaten to "nuke" you.
Back to the point:
An earthquake of 7.8 magnitudes shakes the south-east of Iran, kills many in Pakistan and damages India.
The Media's reaction:
They're HAPPY that the number of people who died weren't

If you ask me to show you something beautiful,
I will show you Autumn,
If you ask me show you a time of amazing changes,
I will show you Autumn,
If you ask me to show you a dying down, that returns anew,
I will show you Autumn,
If you ask me to share with you a season which brings about deep feelings,
I will share with you Autumn...
But, you would truly experience your own feelings for yourself.

Most people would likely be able to state which of the seasons is their favourite, and state a reason, or even share a list of reasons.
Being the individuals that we are, I always find it interesting as to which seasons different people favour the most and why. It can depend on a lot of things, such as where on the planet they actually live and how the climate is for each season in

Would you believe ground travel from Los Angeles to San Francisco in less than thirty minutes? That’s the prediction of the Hyperloop’s financier, billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk (the co–founder of PayPal). As you could read by my last journal entry I am back from travelling America's West Coast and while I absolutely, absolutely loved it I came down with the flu on my flight back XD
Slowly getting around again, started sorting the circa 4000 photos I took over there, slowly starting to upload them, I'm getting there, I am, lol. Here are the first three...well, actually two, I once again couldn't decide whether to go with black and white or colour (I'm horrible at 'creative decisions' XD And I grow more confused the longer I stare at photos XD)
Anyways, I have decided to move to California and to do my Masters Degree over there, so now I have to get a lot of paperwork done (like getting an accredited translation of my Bachelor Degree, clearing stuff with my health insurance, wrapping up my life here ((ter

Breath the world around you ~ FeatureSeeing that I haven't created a feature in a while I thought one was well needed hehe! I have collected a group of photos that for me convey the idea of appreciating the worlds beauty; only a fair few people actually take the time to stop & 'breathe' in such things we normally take for granted. I have placed Counting Crows lyrics in between them, they are such a brilliant band & their lyrics are beautiful, so enjoy everyone!Breath the world around you ~ Feature4 years ago in Personal More Like This

TO THE ASPIRING ARTISTS OUT THERE...." I haven't reached the point where I think I'm good at this. that's the drive. i know that its in me to be really good at it. and i think i've come close a few times, but i don't usually look at things i've completed and feel content. Which that means the next thing you start, you go in with that attitude that 'this time, I'm gonna get it right.' it doesnt mean you hate everything you do, but i'm never content. Seriously, people? And wolves - PHOTOS!Hi!Seriously, people? And wolves - PHOTOS!4 years ago in Personal More Like This
I have been always curious about the number of people, who look at my journals. And new style of "favable" journals could finally show it to me. I was interested - when I post a journal, I usually have some + 400 views on my profile page. So I expected to have some 400 views on my last journals, which would confirm, that 400 persons read it. But it got some 6 000 views! it is MUCH more than my photos usually have! I can not believe this number is correct... I was told that the journal appeared in some dA news section, but I am not sure if that is a reason, because I had no special pageviews, just regular + 400, which is typical for a day, when I post a journal. I think that new visitors, who would be attracted by a journal, would probably (at least small part of them) visit my page, so I would have bigger number of pageviews
So this is a mystery, really...
As I said, I like my photo journals and I consider them my "trade mark", something which differs me from anot
