The clock tolled as Allen Walker lay in his bed, awake.
His blue-gray eyes looked up at the ceiling, loneliness showed in them.
For once, Link wasn't with him. It was probably because a huge mess was occurring with central. After all, they were still deciding if he was a 'dangerous heretic.'
Why? Has he sinned in a past life? He didn't know, and for some odd twist, he didn't care.
Maybe it was his fate that was doing this to him.
He continued to look up at the ceiling as the single clock in his room kept on ticking.
'Allen Walker'. He wasn't even sure who that was anymore.
Was he the gentleman that everyone thought he was, or as he the orphan that lived on the street, thieving so he could live for another day.
He didn't know. Well, at least not anymore.
The voice in his head was correct. He was just a puppet for other people's satisfaction. A puppet that was beginning to lose the truth of the situation.
An empty sigh escaped newly parted lips.
It's wasn't like '
A Lonely LifeI have proof that love isn’t realA Lonely Life2 years ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
And that fate means nothing
Though I did feel my heart breaking
So there must be something
Maybe I’m alone in my thoughts
That love’s worth fighting for
Maybe I’m alone in my dreams
Just as I was the night before
Oh Lord, I don’t need no children
Lord, I don’t need no wife
Please take me now or leave me here
To live out my lonely life
I have proof that love isn’t real
That souls are worth nothing
But I felt my spirit leaving me
While my life was ongoing
Maybe I’m over sentimental
And listen to poets too much
Maybe I’ll believe in what I feel
Not only what I can touch
Oh Lord, I don’t need to smile
Lord, I don’t need no laughter
Leave me here or take me now
To a heavenly hereafter

"Did you just confess to me?"
"N-no! You're being delirious!"
And for a moment of silence, Allen backed away,
staring intensely with silver, unreadable eyes.
Wasn't this the person he hated,
The person he was supposed to despise?
The feelings running though the mind of Allen Walker:
Chaos. Confusion. Contradiction.
And yet, at that moment, he didn't hate the samurai...actually...
No... he knew in his mind his life could not be like a fairytale fiction.
"Of course. Why would a person like you confess to me?"
"Che. Of course. This was all a joke."
"Right."A joke, Kanda says... And so, Allen walked away.
A puzzling sensation crept up to Kanda's throat, who was about to choke...

I don't even feel like taking it out on the Rabbit,

The order never changed, though sometimes he would ask for extra syrup, but it was only on the mornings when he came in with unkempt hair and stubble on his high-boned, ruddy cheeks. Those were the rough mornings, the mornings when caloric intake was not on his mind. They weren't often: he was usually very meticulous. Only the occasional day would arise when you could tell the morning had not gone as it should have. My heart ached for him on these days.
He only ever came on Tuesday and Thursday: he didn't have to be in the office (he worked for a mortgage company) until 10am on those days, instead of the usual 9 o'clock. He took the extra hour to have a proper breakfast, even if there were days when he clearly could have spent more time on his morning hygiene practices rather than rushing to a diner. The vainer part of myself thought that he always showed up for me,

The midnight-haired boy whirled around to see the 'Finder' behind him attack, but was too slow. The Akuma extended an arm and caught him by the throat, thrusting him through a nearby wall. The two, Akuma and Exorcist, flew through the broken wall and into the empty room behind.
"Ahahaha! You're dead now!" The Akuma shrieked, raising its pitchfork-like arm (copied from a certain silver-haired exorcist and modified). "I knew you wouldn't recognize me if I copied someone mostly symmetric like your '

Allen-chan, do you know what a Kanda cookie is? Lavi had asked him one day while they were eating lunch together.
Kanda cookie? Allen asked cutely, tilting his head to the left. As long as it had something to do with food, he was always interested. And the added bonus of a certain irritable samurais name just made things all the more interesting. Whats a Kanda cookie? I didnt know Kanda liked sweets.
Its true! Lavi nodded sagely. Yuu-chan doesnt like sweets but once every year, he makes these special cookies for everyone in the Dark Order Headquarters. I thought you knew, Beansprout-chan.
Are they tasty? Allen inquired, drifting off into a food-filled fantasy that included fluffy marshmallows and a variety of other sugar-filled treats. Cookies were tempting but asking the Japanese swordsman for one seemed like a suicide mission.
You bet! Lavi grinned

He couldn't recall why it had decided to rain all of a sudden, The weather is so fucking bipolar here, he thought to himself as Kanda put on a scowl. Even though it was raining, he put his hood on from his exorcist jacket and took the long way back. Enjoying the breezy, yet not too chilly wind against his face. Though no one knew this of course, Kanda very much enjoyed sparring outside when he could, because he could walk through all of the cherry blossom trees and enjoy nature at it's absolute best.
He had just gotten back from a not too complicated mission in Spain, where he had encountered a challenging level 4 Akuma. He had finished him off

Kanda is a complete and total and utter idiot and he knows it too.
He could have done the smart thing, he could have kept his distance. He could have stuck by what he said the day he met that cursed boy, and he could have kept the hell back. He could have stayed in his safe little bubble of lotuses and self-loathing, where no one could reach him.
But Kanda didn't, and he knows that makes him an utter fool, a complete idiot. It's too damn late now though, and he knows that too.

Pixie Dust and Fairy TalesLife is not always rainbows,Pixie Dust and Fairy Tales6 years ago in Spoken Word More Like This
With pots of gold to be found,
Life is often madness,
In which we can only drown
Life is not perfect,
It forces us often to our knees,
Life is like candy,
It is sometimes bittersweet
Life is not always wonderful,
So many things can go wrong,
But it can be so, so beautiful,
With a joyous, radiant song
Life can leave us angry,
Leave us bitter, leave us worn,
And with so many paths to choose,
Sometimes we feel torn
Life has no magic pixie dust,
To make all things right,
And so we lose ourselves in fairy tales,
To ward away our fright
Life should be about living,
But sometimes it's passion is denied,
And in the end all we remember,
Is the many times we've cried
Life is not pixie dust and fairy tales,
As so many would believe,
Life, in all it's glory,
Continually makes us bleed

Allen almost giggled at the fact the minute the door slammed open Kanda looked like he was going to kill someone.
And then second he saw who it was, though you couldn't really tell with him, his face lit up slightly. Kanda was too cute sometimes~

Autumn dreams of rain.
The last time Rosamund went out on the rowboat, she was six and called it the rowing boat because that’s what her grandad from England called it. She took with her an already-opened umbrella in case it rained, and wore her favourite dress with her favourite coat and second-favourite scarf (nothing matched) because it was chilly out. She had socks on before she remembered that she hadn’t put her shoes away and didn’t know where they were. So she wore socks but no shoes. And that was how she went out on the rowboat.
I should know, I watched her.
She went out the backdoor, balanced precariously on tiptoe, and crept down the pathway, to where the river lapped too loud to ignore.

I heard Chief Komui has this really weird experiment that has to do with Kanda and Allen, a finder named Eric said quietly to another finder as they passed Kanda. Kanda was headed in the opposite direction, to said Chief Komui. It had been far too long (an entire week) since Kanda had gone out on a mission. He wanted to know why, even though he had never complained before.
Kanda knocked on Komuis office door and was let in.

Why havent I been placed on any new missions? Kanda asked sternly.
Oh? Youve only been back a week, Komui pointed out.
