I've been accepted into ArtExpress and my NOSTALGIA collection will be exhibited in the Newcastle Art Gallery in a few months. I'm afraid to tell my dad...he's gonna get ridiculously excited which means a VERY embarrassed me.
I just finished my interview for Sydney Collage of Arts and I reckon it went well....but apart of me just wants to drop the entire thing and go to game school :-{
We'll see how that goes.
You know the one thing I absolutely hate about the Christmas season?
All the damn stores seem to sell only Christmas stuff.
Want to buy some meat...they give you Christmas buns. Want some soap they insist you get candy canes. Want to buy milk...the give you the whole damn Christmas tree, fully decorated with a bonus carton of milk just hanging there for you...=.=
Man what a hassle. Oh well, suppose it's apart of the season.

Contest Theme
Its a new year and to celebrate Fernanda and I decided to throw a contest. The theme is the Chinese Zodiac! Feel free to draw anything any one of the zodiacs in the way you envision them.
The race began January 15th and ends February 28th 11:59 U.S Pacific Time.
Submission Rules
- Must be new piece specifically made for this contest
- Only one zodiac sign can be portrayed in each submission and it must be clear which zodiac is in the image
- Adult themes allowed (Blood/Nudity) only if it is found tasteful and only adds to the power of the piece.
- Please submit only polished and finished pieces. No sketches/doodles/rushed works.
- You may enter as many submissions as long as it follows the rule about polished works.
- Accepted mediums include traditional, digital and animation/gifs. All format sizes allowed. But try not to make it to small as a loss in detail may hurt you and your chances of winning.

I hope 2013 is going well for you all! I just wanted to share some news with you: next month, Blindsighted Wanderer will be having a blog tour, thanks to Tam's Two Cents and Bookend 2 Bookend!From 10th-27th February, there will be all sorts going on for me, Silas, Merrin and Raphael, across blogs far and wide! I'm getting really excited about all that – I had a lot of fun the other day, starting to get things ready – and I'm trying to get as much uni work done now as I can, so I can spend those 17 brilliant days back in the Elitland.
In regards to Blindsighted Wanderer, a huge thank you to everyone who's bought themselves a copy, left me a review, liked my facebook page... I have no words for how much your support means to me!

Finally confirmed my first photoshoot for Tomoe Mami (Madoka Magica)! I will almost definitely have photos up by mid-September~
I'm kinda nervous to cosplay such an awesome + pretty character, but I will do my best! :3

Sorry for the lack of anime cosplays lately~ I haven't had many new costumes since I am banned from sewing until the end of the school year and buying things online takes months ;A;
My costume for Karuta (InuxBoku) is also here, although the shirt collar isn't quite right... Might even cosplay Ririchiyo if I feel up to it! ^^
The dress is so cute (but short), I'm actually going to wear it to school on free dress day~ XD
As for my Misaki (Maid-Sama) cosplay, it arrived but the sizing is quite big and a bit too long for me... Might have to sell it and buy a new one, but I will definitely get around to cosing her eventually!

01. Public Service Announcement
I'm more of an anime/manga-style artist than anything else. My strengths are in black/white pieces, monochrome colors and simple shading. I am also not the best choice for mecha-type or anthro-type art; go find someone else for those. I am also not going to draw anything explicitly sexual, though suggestive themes are welcome.

02. The Rates
I do three types of commissions:
A) B/W (black/white)
B) B/W with tones
C) Digitally colored, well, lines
I don't do marker-colored commissions because markers are EXPENSIVE and I can't afford them for heavy-duty art, so I left that out. The rates are basic estimates, so they might change depending on how much detail you want worked into the piece.

--complete scene (character, action, complete BG etc.), final piece: ~14-40 hours ($200-600)
Every commission will be discussed individually.
Even for $15 you can get pretty nice sketch (speedpaint) with some color or non-colored.
