Wonder Woman: Legacy, Ch. 1
Most of the structures on Themyscira were ancient Greek style in construction, as their culture was largely ancient Greek in makeup, and built of marble or limestone for the most part. A training center near the middle of the island was one of the largest. Like most structures, it had a walled open courtyard all the way around it, four entrances into the structure itself, and large marble columns that held up the stone roof. The inside of the perimeter wall was adorned with gardens with a track of clean sand right inside of the gardens that measured over three miles around the building, and inside of these were the training fields for this facility, and they were all in heavy use this day. Four obstacle courses, one on each side of the huge, three level structure, were of varying degrees of difficulty for different kinds of training and were named for Greek Gods.
On the south side of the structure, a group of women had just finished

Darkness had settled hours ago and the house was finally quiet. Though weary from a long day, Diana knew that sleep would be a difficult prize to claim, especially with everything in her mind that vied for her attention. She lay on her back, right in the middle of her spacious bed as she stared at the ceiling with troubled blue eyes. With one hand laying on her belly and the other arm curled around her head, she did her best to relax her body, hoping that her mind would soon follow. Her long black hair was pulled to one side and was flailed out on her pillow and bed. Her spacious bedroom was dimly lit in the warm blue glow offered by the full moon. There were not many furnishings, only the bed, desk across the room under the window and a wardrobe that was made of some dark wood. Two other pieces had joined the

They returned to the mansion in high spirits and Elissa seemed to have forgotten about her failure with Scarecrow. Clinging to her mother's arm as they entered, she laughed and declared, "You have got to be kidding! And she knew nothing about it?"
"I didn't keep many secrets from your grandmother," Diana admitted, "but some things are much better left unsaid."
"That is just totally wicked," the girl said with a laugh.
"Just don't get any ideas," Diana warned. "I'm way ahead of you on that."
"I believe you, Mom. Hey! Maybe we can, like, go and do a Justice League mission or something. It would be all kinds of fun!"
With a little smile, Diana confirmed, "Sure, I'd like that. But not until I get you clearance, understand?"
"And I think your father would like some time with you as well. Do you think you can g

Elissa moaned softly and rocked her head to the left, then the right, and her eyes opened to thin slits. She blinked and struggled to bring the world around her into focus. Drawing a deep breath, she tried to make sense of where she was, how she got there
Anxiety surged up again and quickly she felt herself near panic as she looked around her. When she tried to sit up, a strap around her chest stopped her. Trying to raise her hands to remove it revealed that she was cuffed to the bed she lay on. Looking down at herself, she saw that she was only covered with a white sheet and white wool blanket, and over these were leather restraints over her legs and hips and she could feel her ankles cuffed and strapped down beneath the sheet. Her eyes darted about. This looked like the Batcave, and yet it did not. Drawing a deep breath, she tried to calm herself and reason out what had happen, w

Commissioner Gordon stood on the roof, his hands in the pockets of his overcoat as he stared up at the bat signal that shined brightly on the clouds above. With him were two uniformed police officers, both of whom watched the signal on the clouds as well. The spotlight that sent it there illuminated much of the roof surrounding it, but behind it and in the distance, all was shrouded in shadows, and everyone present knew that Batman would emerge from those shadows. The sounds of the blowing wind would mask the approach of the Dark Knight and tensions were high as the three awaited him.
A loud, mechanical click sounded from behind them and the spotlight went out, plunging much of the rooftop back into darkness. Only the two lights that flanked the one door that accessed the roof illuminated the roof to any degree. Even as the two policemen spun around, Gordon turned almost casually, looking to the shadowy figure who stood

The lights were low in the central control room of the Watchtower and when the doors slid shut behind Wonder Woman she did not stray more than a step or two from them as her eyes found that one lonely figure sitting at the main console. A familiar creeping began in her stomach and she drew a calming breath. She feared almost nothing, but this was a conversation she had hidden from for almost two decades. Finally striding forward, her steps were as confident as she could manage and she was able to control the shaking of her knees very well. It was not a long walk, but it sure seemed to take forever.
Finally reaching the occupied chair, she grasped it with one hand, the console with the other as she looked to the large view screen that was right in front of the man who worked the controls. Silence thickened the air around them and the tension mounted.
"Quiet night?" she finally fo
BATMAN: LEGACYThe Bat Cave illuminated as the door slid open and Batman strode toward the car that was parked in the middle of the cavern, and right on his heels was Golden Angel, a girl about five foot six with long black hair that was restrained in a pony tail. She wore a combination of clothing and armor, a red top that left her right shoulder and her midriff bare, a golden raptor symbol across her chest that had the wings of a bat. She wore golden gauntlets on her forearms, and red and gold boots almost to her knees. The bottom piece of this costume was royal blue, low on her hips and left her legs almost completely bare, and it was adorned with white stars. On her brow she wore a golden tiara with a blue star in the center that was flanked by the black wings of a bat. This was a young heroine in training, and this day the lesson seemed to be an elusive one in patience.BATMAN: LEGACY5 years ago in Drama More Like This

GOLDEN ANGEL: THE WATCHTOWER Elissa had only taken the flight to clear her mind. She figured nobody would ask questions when she took the IJ121 from the well guarded hangar at the small, private airport near Gotham City, and no one did. Sure, this was Themyscira's most advanced jet, but even at seventeen years old she was an accomplished fighter pilot and was only rarely questioned by those who guarded it. After all, who would dare question the daughter of Wonder Woman?GOLDEN ANGEL: THE WATCHTOWER4 years ago in Drama More Like This
Her helmet lay on the seat beside her, leaving her long, obsidian black hair free and pulled over one shoulder to keep it out of her way. Dressed as Golden Angel, she would be ready should she have to land and spring into action. This was a two piece costume. The top was read and supported only over her left

It had been a very long time since I had left Maria. I have constantly run unless I happen upon a small town or scarcely populated place where I can drain humans of their intoxicating blood. I came upon a small town that had a very odd cozy feeling. I stopped in a café to rest when a petite young woman hopped off of a stool and approached me. She took my hand. Hello, Jasper, She greeted me in a soprano voice.
I froze. How do you know my name? I asked in a low voice.
I know almost everything about you, Jasper, She said picked herself off the ground. She approached me slowly. My name is Alice.
She took my hand, and I was too dazed to rip it away from her. You kept me waiting.

"I'm home!" Jim called as he walked through the front door.
Jim had been away on a three week long expedition to Proteus 7. There had been some political disputes, and the royal family had asked for some extra security. Jim had been there, supervising the blockade stationed around the planet while another officer had been called away due to important family business.
"I'm in the kitchen!" I called. I was preparing his favorite meal for his return.
He set his bag down on a chair and came over to me. He gave my cheek a quick peck and then grabbed an apple from a basket on the counter in front of me.
"How was your trip?" I asked.
"Extremely boring. Though I guess that's a good thing for the royal family," Jim said before taking a large bite out of the apple. After almost a year and a half of being a Captain, Jim had seen many exciting as well as extremely trivial expeditions. This had apparently been one of the latter, though I had expected some action to have occurred. "How wer

Chapter One: Where the Beginning Ends Up
I believe that this is the part where I tell you a story about how I ended up at an orphanage at the age of six after two policemen found me in a graveyard all alone and crying one night. If you would like to know that well, so would I. I am truly sorry to say this, but I honestly have no clue as to why I was out there with the dead with a face covered in tears. At one point, I was not sure if I was even crying at all, but that is what the police said when they were explaining the situation to the nuns who resided over the orphanage and policemen have no reason to say anything that was not true, right?
The nuns asked a lot of questions that night as well. What my name was, how old was I, and the usual what happened to me? I told them that my name was Clara, no last name that I am aware of, and that I was six years old at the time. As for what had happened to me, I could not tell them. I did not know what h

Around bedtime, Elissa saw Stacy to bed and dismissed herself to go to "work."
The road to Gotham was supposed to be about three hours, but a fast motorcycle in the dark made it in less than two.
Somewhere downtown, Elissa found a secure parking garage and hid her bike in plain sight there, then spun to change to her alter ego.
Jumping down from the second deck, she set off on a walk through one of the most crime ridden cities in the country, and got no shortage of attention from those who walked the streets.
She had come to Gotham to fight crime, and Gotham would not disappoint her. In less than an hour she caught two street thugs trying to rob a corner store. Guns blazed and bullets ricocheted off of her gauntlets as she easily took the crooks down and held them for the overworked police.
More action found its way to her and she foiled two more robberies in the next hour.
Hearing more gunfire, she ran that direction, finding two police officers in a fi

A beautiful young girl was flying high in the sky, without a care in the world. She glanced back at her wings. They were simple, yet beautiful. They were her pride and joy. All white and lacy-looking. When they beat, it was almost as if they were invisible in the center where they morphed seamlessly into her back.
She twisted and turned in the sky, enjoying how the wind felt as it whipped her hair around. Most likely, she would have a nightmare of a time untangling it later, but she didn't care.
She flew into a cloud, deliberately putting herself in danger. When in a cloud, angels couldn't see where they were going. It was very likely she could run into another angel. But she enjoyed the thrill and adrenaline of danger. She emerged from the cloud without running into anyone.
She pulled up short and gazed down at the world below her. Being so high up, it was amazing how small and large the world could seem at the same time.
As she was admiring her birds-eye view, a noise ca

Last year I was sitting in an orphanage, contemplating a future that seemed all too bleak. But everything changed when I made a wish on my 16th birthday. I wished I could be in the movie Treasure Planet and it came true. I was transported to the world of Treasure Planet, but I had somehow forgotten everything that happened in the movie. I met Jim Hawkins, whom I had a big crush on, and went on an adventure to find the legendary loot of a thousand worlds. Jim and I grew close on the adventure, and found that we loved each other. Along the way, we met a pirate named Long John Silver, who became a father figure to us and helped us find our place in the world. After almost getting killed on the exploding trap of Treasure Planet, we let said pirate free, since he had done so much to help us. Jim and I had found a new future; one that we would have never imagined was possible a few months before. A future full of promise, and one that we could share together.

On a dark and stormy night, I sat on my bed, watching the credits roll by on my computer from my favorite movie: Treasure Planet. This movie always makes me feel better, I thought, not to mention I have the biggest crush on Jim Hawkins EVER! As I closed my computer screen, I turned to look at my clock. 11:09. Almost time, I thought sadly to myself, sighing in the process.
I was about to turn 16. I was born at exactly 11:11pm. But my sixteenth birthday was not one I was looking forward to. I lived in an orphanage. I had never known my parents, and for some reason, I had never attracted the attention of those who came to adopt. It was especially difficult to be adopted once you became a teenager. Now, at 16, there was little hope that I would ever be adopted. The orphanage had told me that if I didn't have a family by the time I turned 16, they would have to kick me out. The most they could do was provide me with a job at

Normal. Such a strange word and an even stranger feeling. But after last year's fiasco with Alex, a boy from my past who strangely wound up in the same world as me, and as a pirate no less, it was a welcomed feeling.
Jim and I returned for our second year at the Interstellar Academy. Aside from the normal stresses of homework and grades, everything was normal.
The summer was filled with more singing and shows. But other than that, nothing happened. It wasn't boring, though. It was more peaceful. Jim and I filled our days with each other's company, and a few hobbies.
Jim still had his solar surfer, which we would ride all the time. He was even teaching me how to ride. I was still a beginner, and far from being ready to take it out by myself, without him standing behind me, ready to take over should I lose control.
I took up a few hobbies of myself. After finding my sketchbook filled with drawings of him last year, Jim bought me another one. I had alrea
