Last recolor I did of my arise wallpaper (the original can be found here: [link] the no text version here: [link] and the other recolors here: [link] ). Was planning on having it for personal use, but I thought what the hell, I'll upload it. So, anyway, here it is.
Updated Tivvay class from Gundam 0080:War in the Pocket
In the late Gundam Watch Freehold alternate universe storytelling exercise, the Republic of Zeon is still a force to be reckoned with, and has built up quite a fleet. The Tivvay II is, of course, the hull of the 0080 Tivvay, rebuilt and brought up to UC 0090 standards, and incorporating a few tactical refinements from lessons learned prior to 0090. These refinements, of course, are restricted by the limitations imposed by the original Tivvay hull.
The triple-barreled turret which replaces the original high-profile bridge possesses an unobstructed, 360-degree field of fire. The ship can bring to bear more firepower on most arcs, unlike the original Tivvay.
The entire ship has a lower profile. While not that significant in a space environment, it could mean the difference between a near miss and a disabling hit (especially if it's the bridge that got hit).
The armoured bridge is in a less exposed position, is better protected, and is closer to the actual command centre, which has been located deep within the heart of the ship. Crew transfer from one position to the other is accomplished faster. Since the bridge would be unoccupied in combat, the designers felt that the firing of m-p guns close to the bridge would not be an inconvenience. I'm presuming that 10 years of improvement has minimized particle scatter from M-P weapons, and concussive effects are non-existent in a vacuum.
This is one of my favourite....since It took me forever to do it and I'm quite pleased after it was finished...I did this last yr and I thought it would be great....for viewing...I've got more to come though it may need some work ...I haven't been to Dev.art for what seem like ages....so here you go! Hope you'll like it!
A wallpaper depicting 'St. Francis' Folly' from Tomb Raider One to commemorate the soon to be released Tomb Raider Anniversary. I produced this visual concept to depict TR1's St. Francis' Folly level with a contemporary visual style.
When creating digital TR fanart, I have a creative idea of a scene. I draw a detailed outline of the scene I want to create on the computer, then I apply textures. Then... I use digital tools to blend & paint in sections... to bring the image together.
