The blazing sun shone on her head as she walked in the inferno of sand. The summery desert emmittted heat that burned her bare feet. She longed for a sip of water or any soft drink. She tried remembering what lemonade tasted like, but her tongue was too dry, making it painful to remember. The blue haired lady kept on walking despite the excruciating heat and the horrible thirst that she had. She was wearing a long, zebra hoodie and some leather pants that were wearing out due to the excessive heat and the days that she had spent lost in the desert.
She wondered how she had ended up in that hell. All she could remember was the huge goldfish that had devoured her friend and how that goldfish then giggled and splashed away. Goldfish were not hostile most of the time, but the smell of fishsticks made them go berserk and attack everything that moves, breathes, and makes noise.

Ch. 1 - Half-Blood
Severus Snape had a hard time feeling comfortable sitting on a couch that probably cost more money than his entire house. He felt that his mere presence was an insult to the room, so elegant and refined and so unlike his own pathetic figure scrawled all over the delicate tapestry. Next to him, Narcissa went on and on about the only topic that could interest her: blood purity and how the reforms being planned by Lord Voldemort were the only way to ensure that magic was not lost from the world. Severus did his best to listen politely, but was too fidgety since he half-expected Narcissa to suddenly realise that he was actually a half-blood and turn him out of the room.
Yet, even though he felt dirty and unworthy, even though the absurd fear that they would realise what he was always lingered somewhere in his mind, Severus would rather be at Malfoy Manor than at his own house. At Malfoy Manor, ther

Chapter 4 - After the Banquet
With all my might, I waged a battle against my enemy.
I won. A temporary victory, but it was a victory nonetheless.
My enemy was Sleep.
The generous banquet at the Great Hall had left me so full I wondered if I would ever get hungry again. Maybe not in the next few days anyway. The long tables were filled with all sorts of mouth-watering food imaginable. Even if I was never hungry at home (Mum always made sure of that), the sight of so much food made me want to try it all. The golden plates and goblets before us were refilled as soon as they were empty. I was immediately reminded of the enchanted feasts in the fairytales I loved to read and was delighted that those magical things were not so impossible after all.
And so this feeling of fullness, added to the traumatic experience on the train as well as the stress of the sorting ceremony, left me craving for the comforts of a warm,
Walk Through The FireI touch the fire and it freezes me ,Walk Through The Fire5 years ago in Songs & Lyrics More Like This
I look into it and it's black.
Why can't I feel?
My skin should crack and peel,
I want the fire back.
So, I will walk through the fire,
Cause where else can I turn?
I will walk through the fire,
And let it
Now, through the smoke it calls to me,
To make my way across the flame.
To save the day or maybe melt away,
I guess it's all the same.
Cause I am drawn to the fire,
I know I'll never learn.
I will walk through the fire,
And let it
One by one, they turn from me,
I guess my friends can't face the cold.
But why I froze, not one among them knows,
And never can be told.
Going through the motions,
Walking through the part,
These endless days are finally ending in a blaze...
And we are caught in the fire,
At the point of no return.
So we will walk through the fire,
And let it...
Let it burn
Let it burn
Let it burn
Let it... Burn

Neville and Hannah - part 7After the night Neville shouted at her, Hannah started to find things easier again. She was still torn up with grief and pity for her father, who- without the love of his life- now barely even found it in him to speak, let alone send letters. But just knowing there was someone who understood well .everything just helped her get through the days that little bit easier. She also found that, at least most of the time, she was no longer angry; the hour or so of hysterical sobs after her conversation with Neville seemed to have released everything that had been building up inside her since that day and turned her human again, or as much of one as could be expected of a girl who's mum she veered away from the train of thought. It's something that can't be sculpted, or painted through a canvas, it's something with a much deeper meaning....
Family is your friend, your enemy, your rock, and the pain in your butt.
Dispite the hard times, they're the only ones there when friends and others aren't and there through thick and thin, better and worse.
They're there to give hell, to prepare for the hard road ahead in life, and give support and love.
Family..... is there.

She contenued to yell to herself even though no one could hear her. Meanwhile, Shadow was walking up into Amy's yard. Amy slid off of his back and walked towards the door. I was either dreaming, or I was dead. I was pretty sure it was the second one, since the last thing I could remember was sirens, and my father's voice, hissing in my ear, glee and panic mixed together.
"They'll find us, they'll take me away, but I've done what I came to do. Maybe you'll see Cameron in Hell. Maybe I'll see you both "
The pain had knocked me out then, and this time when I opened my eyes, I was in that cloudy, softly lit place they always show in movies indicating heaven.
Okay, so I was dreaming. I would never really end up in heaven. I had too many sins to attest to, things that I was ashamed of, but all of them were true and God had to know that. Maybe he was counting the how and why, but still, there were things I'd done all on my own, without my father's help.
Either way. Maybe most of me had wanted to die, but there was still that small, itching part in the back of my mind, telling me to stay alive, to at least make things right with J

Do not say "red".
Avoid mention of Ares.
In fact, don't wax classical
Keep it simple.
Don't drink the water.
There isn't any.
Say there is.
Exaggerate the prospects
Tell us the weather is nice.
Or, that it will be.
Wish we were there.
Tell us so.
Invent a new word
Make a circle.
construct a sphere.
Create a word for gravity
and place it at the center.
Empty the sky of stars.
Give us a proper beginning.
Write: "I've reached the summit

and, "from this sacred height,
I can see beyond Tharsis
a world without gods
who deal in war."

when it was just you and me,
and while your tongue roamed restlessly
inside your drooping mouth,
I asked how
do you say goodbye?
Do we hold hands -
your baby-soft grip already receding back
and out to sea, with the winking
calm of a rip laying itself
flat, while the surges of your fasiculations
in the shallow grooves of your ribs.
Do we say the words we already know -
I can see the delay
of words from your brain to your tongue,
and your sunken chest
heaving with measured words and
Do I study your face, to remember -

half to sleep,
your waterlogged body bobbing, undecided
on the sea or the clouds.

I walked out into the eerily quiet kitchen, and grabbed a glass. I went to the fridge and pulled out what was left of our chocolate milk. I opened the cabinet with our pills and grabbed my medication that I hadn't taken in three days. I knew it was dangerous, but I always seemed to forget.
After pouring my chocolate milk, and taking my pills, I walked down the hallway to Tavis' room. I heard music playing and knew better than to assume he was asleep. I softly walked in.
He was laying across his bed, his eyes closed, mouthing the words to Alesana's "A Lunatic's Lament". I set my glass on the night stand and plopped on the floor.
"Knock, knock," I whispered.
His eyes popped open and he rolled to the side of the bed.
"Aren't you supposed to be asleep?"
I glanced at the now empty bottle of chardonnay on the floor by the trash can.

She had fallen asleep about an hour ago. He had barely given her a second thought, she needed the sleep after spending a good three hours trying to create seamless memories. She was actually quite good at it, but when she became too mentally exhausted they had agreed to take a break. She fell asleep almost instantly on the couch.
He was content to finish his grading there, ignoring the sound of her breathing as it rose and fell with what he could only assume were dreams. But he couldn't ignore the pained noises. She looked for a moment like she was having an argument in her sleep. Her head tossed from side to side, and her breath caught in her chest.
Leaving the papers he was grading on the table, he stalked over to the couch. He was just about to wake her when her face changed to something that was not pain at all, and she moaned in a way he had not heard a woman do in years.
