Three Naval Infantry soldiers, two Marines and a Navy SEAL, walked the United States Interstellar Marine Corps, FOI SMMC Michael P. Barrett Walk of Remembrance. I quietly followed their march around the barracks, through the fields and onto the shiny black deck where memorials were placed for Marines both missing- and killed-in-action during the First Interstellar War.
Around the base, groups of recruits were being run right into the ground by their drill instructors as they chanted cadences from the Marine Corps years' past. The drill instructors barked the cadence lines and recruits sung along.
"A-lo right, a-lo right la

We were finally in the Shit. The first mission since training had begun. Never thought the day would come, but the Osprey's load ramp was lowering down onto the top of some building in the middle of the Pyongyang. The staff sergeant was prepping his M4A1 carbine before he looked up at the rest of us.
"Get some!" He shouted. "Move, move! Get out of this fuckin' bird! GO, GO!"
The ramp hit the deck and we ran off. The rotor-wash whipped dust and small flyers around; looking back at the Osprey I could see sparks from incoming rounds. The bird was taking a lot of fire from the building across the street from the DPRK Korean People's Army Ground Forces. Probably just NKorea Type-68 AKM-copies. The ramp went back up on the Osprey and the engines droned for power to get off the deck.
"Heavy-MG! Three o'clock!" A Corporal shouted.
Thirty light rifles and medium machine-guns opened up on the heavy machine-gun but it was too late; the Russian NSV heavy machine-gun opened up on the
Cause And Effect - Chapter 9Having said good-bye to Red Lawrence, John and Katie departed the sporting goods store. Katie had decided to sit in the backseat of the Ford on the way back, but something was bothering her as John noticed that she was squirming in the backseat.Cause And Effect - Chapter 94 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"What's wrong?" he asked.
"I don't know. Is there anything under this seat?" Katie asked.
John thought for a moment, struggling to remember what he had put under there. "It might be the tire iron." he said in uncertainty.
Katie quickly found the strap to pull the modified backseat cushion up to find there were a few firearms in the compartment and the standard tire-changing kit. She pulled one of the weapons out its cradle and held it up in admiration.
"Barrel up, please," John requested. "And finger off the trigger."
Katie looked the weapon over for a few minutes before smiling a little, John noticed from watching the rear-view mirror.
"It's a DSA SA-58 OSW. American-made, sawed-off variant of the FN-FAL, which was made in Belgium and used in

I stress about everything
I stress about my future, my present
And even now my past
I stress about my school
And try to get papers done
When I have a month to do so
I stress about my friends
And wonder what theyre thinking
When I am so far away from them
I stress about my family
And everything they say to me
Like I should have a girlfriend
And begin to think about marriage
Even when I know Im not ready
I stress about my finances
Hating how broke I am
Wishing to be a millionaire
I stress about my friends
And wonder what theyre doing
Hoping theyre safe
Knowing I cant see them still
I stress about everything
Even about things that are so petty
Or things that are out of my control
I try to stop stressing
But it seems that I cant
How can I put this?
I think Im addicted to stress
Cause And Effect - Chapter 8There wasn't much to do for John, every time he'd try to work Katie would pull him inside and make him rest. He could understand why, but there was still work to do regardless. John couldn't just stop work, especially now that he knew an attack from Stevens' boys. All he had managed to do in defense was put the M-60 up in the attic in case the attack came sooner as opposed to later.Cause And Effect - Chapter 84 years ago in Settings More Like This
John didn't let Katie see that, and he had hidden his M-4A1 because he didn't want her spotting the one M-203 he had installed to the rifle. That was another gift from his grandfather and the Vietnam War, along with five bulk-packed PA-120 40mm ammunition cans full of M-430A1 HEDP rounds. A total of 250-rounds were allocated to the family, after a supply "miss-drop". Even though there would've been quite a mess John wished he had some M-18A1 Claymore anti-personnel mines. A very nasty little plastic case, internally the mine contains a layer of C4 explosive behind a matrix of about seven-hundred 1/8-inch di

Hi! It's Kerowin4Moons here to give you some tips on how to conquer that hateful monster known as writer's block!
So we've all been there, or maybe it's your first time and you're tearing your hair out because you have no idea how to get over it. Well, there have been times when I would have enjoyed somebody giving me a little piece of advice. And when they did, they really made my day. These techniques have always worked for me, and I hope they do for you too.
There he is, the little demon, sneering at you. First of all, don't show him you are afraid, because fear gives him power over you. Don't threaten him or try to shoo him away, he's of the mischievous kind and the more you concentrate on chasing him off, the longer he'll stay. Smile to confuse him. Give him candy, I don't know why it really pisses him off. Feel free to share your dreams of fame and omnipotence with him. Just don't let him ever get the upper hand.
Now, on to playing some
