I'm still having nightmares about myself.
I've made wishes on poetry and torn apart bad books to re-write them,
Stolen candy from a baby and said F- words to strangers.
Forever, Finally and Free.
But I lied, because every time I'm finally sure I don't love you anymore I hear a song that was written about the two of us and I'm back in the state of forever, and the bathwater turns cold around me, and I remember that you'll never love me as much as I love you and F- word.
I plan to erase you from my memory,
(Like that scene in eternal sunshine of a spotless mind.)
I Made my own machine out of old letters you'd written to me, a blue box and silver light bulbs, and paper hearts. I curled myself In that brown chair we used to laugh at, and fell asleep.
You've always had stars in your eyes, you'd bite your lip and blink and they'd flow in a spiral around your fingertips.
You are So special.
You decided we didn't b

Once you told me you didn't like the way I curl myself towards you
And that I shouldn't walk with my feet facing the other because it was childlike
I took the long way home that night thinking about what you said, staring at my feet
Forcing them to point forward. Every time they disobeyed I pinched myself till my thighs were anesthetized,
So now I cant feel my legs.
Ive always written the words youve said to me and posted them around my room,
I'd bite my lip, as the sun hit the L in useless,
Us-(e)-less. Imaging the way the words rolled off your tongue
That day I found you sitting on the edge of my bed reading your words,
The sunlight hit your nose as you stared at that L in useless.
Your top lip quivered as your bottom lip cringed
You pulled them down
I called you the next day,
You had the voice of last years cough
And your phone

Across rapids which thundered louder than the heart,
Where a voice gets lost within the depth of a canyon,
I searched for a missing part.
My eyes have seen beyond their years,
Words of wisdom have flown off my tongue,
A child-like joy has remained in my actions,
As I traveled to discover the one:
Excuse me, sir. Have you seen this man?
He's about this tall, with eyes that shine
with some secretive joy unknown to all,
and I hope to someday claim it as mine.
He captures the sun with his smile,
Even the stars seem to glisten with a closer look,
admiring this dreaming gem of the earth,
a character who seemingly leaped from a book.
I bet he writes poetry in the dimness of his room.
Scribbles little notes to a loverperhaps to me too?
Maybe he's searching for me, just as I search for him.
Have you seen him kind sir? Have you?
A man with a longing in his heart,
Like he carries a burden, but continues to stand tall.
A twitch of his lips state

I dream that
we sneak out
and run through
the pitch black streets
and spend the entire night
under the moonlight
staring at the stars
and huddle close,
to keep warm
during that cold night
so close that
we can hear
each other's heart beat.
I'll wake up
we can make it reality.
Missing YouMissing is a strange thingMissing You9 years ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
That I never thought applied to me
But now you've left, truly gone
I miss you with a fiery intensity
It burns and burns
It has no end
But when it comes down to it I know we're only friends
Missing is unfair
It creeps up sneakily behind me
And leaps to my side whenever you're not there
To hold my hand silently
I miss the warmth in your eyes
And the smile that plays on your lips
I miss fussing over your jumper, holding your hand and arguing over the colour of the sky
I just miss telling you things like this
There's a cold shiver this morning
Now I realise this is true
Please don't leave me now
Now I've fallen head over heels for you

Music and YouMusic is youMusic and You5 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
No matter what,
Is a sudden reminder of you
Even if they went unnoticed when I was with you,
I still feel you
And I hate it
Turning to music used to be my past,
But what do I do,
When it's not even possible to go there?
All intensified when music comes on
Doesn't matter the time,
Doesn't matter the place,
Doesn't even matter the kind of music
They're all just constant reminders
Is it because you're percussion?
Do drums in the songs,
Make me think of you?
I do not know,
I will never know
Except when I listen for them
Then I know it's you
I picture you
And you're smiling face
Sending off sweet warm laughter
None of which I can know anymore
But is it all my fault?
You're the one who was confusing,
You're the one who would talk to me,
Only when it seemed helpful for you
And now look,
I can't listen
I can't turn to my dreamworld
My cornucopia of joy is gone
Frozen with the ice in your soul

Counting the tree's that spin past during a road trip, it seems each one passes into the ashes and the colours in the sky change.
Rolling the window down, the wind trickles through...
My long black hair waves through the air, brushing past your cheeks
Laughter spreads between the creases of your lips
You'll turn to kiss my shoulder and I'll rest my head on yours.
Staring at the road ahead between darkening eyelids like blinders
Your voice will narrate the way home
